Trade Union, Managerial and Employee Perceptions of Organisational Participation and Democracy at Work
No full textThis synoptic paper accompanies refereed articles, chapters in books and books published
between 1977 and 2001 by the author on the theme of trade union, managerial, and
employee perceptions of organisational participation and democracy at work and is
submitted for a PhD by Publication. It shows how these eleven publications represent a
"substantial, continuous and coherentb ody of work" on the theme and demonstratesh ow
they, both individually and collectively, have made an original contribution to knowledge
in this specific field.
The author distinguishes between direct participation and indirect or representative forms
of organisational participation and claims to have made a contribution to both. During the
period spanned by these twelve publications, perceptions of trade unions, management and
employees about organisational participation and democracy at work have undergone great
changes. In the 1970s, trade union perceptions of organisational participation and
democracy at work led the TUC among others to campaign for worker directors as a form
of industrial democracy to influence boardroom decisions outside the scope of collective
bargaining. The Labour government of the day supported the TUC initiative with the
Committee of Inquiry on Industrial Democracy chaired by Lord Bullock. The author
contributed to the national debate on worker directors with the publication of his book on
the British Steel Worker Directors. He also researched direct forms of employee
participation such as job enrichment, job enlargement, and autonomous working groups
internationally, arguing for their incorporation in industry.
When the Conservative Party came to power, the worker director avenue to indirect
employee participation at boardroom level was effectively blocked. The author then turned
his research attention to management-led forms of direct employee participation, namely
Quality Circles and Total Quality Management with their forms of employee
empowerment. His publications also foster participation for leavers and survivors in
corporate downsizing

ABSTRAK
Ruang lingkup pendaftaran tanah merupakan dalam rangka mewujudkan kepastian hukum atas seluruh bidang tanah di wilayah Indonesia, terdapat satu kasus yang menarik dimana dalam proses terjadinya peralihan hak atas tanah melibatkan akta Notaris dalam peralihannya dan bagaimana proses pendaftaran tanah tersebut pada Badan Pertanahan Nasional, karena dari data yang penulis peroleh alas hak yang dialihkan merupakan Bekas Serifikat HGB yang sudah melampaui batas waktu. Permasalahan yang menjadi objek penelitian diantaranya : 1) Bagaimana status tanah bekas hak guna bangunan yang telah berakhir jangka waktunya jika dialihkan dengan menggunakan akta peralihan hak yang dibuat oleh notaris? 2) Bagaimana proses pendaftaran tanah bekas sertifikat HGB yang menggunakan akta peralihan hak yang dibuat oleh notaris pada BPN di Kota Pekanbaru?. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode yuridis empiris. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan studi dokumen, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat kesimpulan bahwa status atas tanah berdasarkan hak yang diberikan yaitu HGB yang telah berakhir jangka waktunya adalah kembali kepada negara dalam hal ini Pemerintah Kota Pekanbaru, HGB yang telah berakhir jangka waktunya, dapat dialihkan haknya kepada pihak lain dengan perbuatan hukum jual beli yang dibuat di hadapan Notaris sesuai dengan kewenangan notaris yang termuat dalam Pasal 15 ayat (2) huruf f UUJN sekaligus dengan permohonan hak baru yang menjadikan akta otentik tersebut yakni akta peralihan hak sebagai dasar permohonannya.

ABSTRACT
The scope of land registration is in the context of realizing legal certainty over all land parcels in the territory of Indonesia, there is one interesting case where the process of transferring land rights involves a Notary deed in its transfer and how is the land registration process at the National Land Agency, because of the data the author who receives the rights that has been transferred is the former HGB certificate which has passed the time limit. The problems that become the object of the research include: 1) What is the status of the land of ex-building rights that has expired if its term has been transferred by using a deed of transfer of rights made by a notary? 2) What is the process of registering land for ex-HGB certificates using the deed of transfer of rights made by a notary at the BPN in Pekanbaru City? The method used in this research is empirical juridical method. Data were collected through interviews and document study, then analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the status of land based on the rights granted, namely HGB which has expired is returned to the state, in this case the Pekanbaru City Government, the HGB which has expired, can be transferred to another party by means of a legal act of sale and purchase made before a notary in accordance with the authority of the notary as contained in Article 15 paragraph (2) letter f of the UUJN together with a new right application which makes the authentic deed, namely the deed of transfer of rights as the basis of the application.

ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN TINGKAT KESEJATERAAN RUMAH TANGGA PETANI KELAPA SAWIT DI DESA SUMBER BAKTI KABUPATEN NAGAN RAYA
No full textTujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis pendapatan usahatani kelapa sawit, menganalisis kontribusi pendapatan dan tingkat kesejahteraan rumah tangga petani kelapa sawit. Untuk menganalisis hal ini, peneliti menggunakan metode survei dengan membagikan kuisioner dan wawancara langsung kepada 56 petani di Desa Sumber Bakti, Kecamatan Darul Makmur, Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Data-data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang kondisi ekonomi para petani. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pendapatan usahatani kelapa sawit (on farm) rata-rata Rp 45.897.856 tahun-1, sektor pertanian lainnya (off farm) Rp 23.052.727 tahun-1, dan luar sektor pertanian (non farm) Rp 14.799.273 tahun-1. Kontribusi yang diberikan sektor off farm terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga cukup besar yaitu 54,8%. Berdasarkan indikator kesejahteraan menurut BPS (2020), tingkat kesejahteraan rumah tangga petani kelapa sawit di Desa Sumber Bakti tergolong kedalam kesejahteraan baik. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi penting bagi pemerintah dan stakeholder lainnya dalam merancang kebijakan yang berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan petani kelapa sawit. Selain itu, juga memberikan pemahaman tentang kondisi ekonomi dan sosial para petani dalam industri kelapa sawit

Dimulai pada tahun 2020 Desa Ngargosari memberi nama Desa Wisatanya yaitu Desa Wisata Widosari. Desa ini sangat aktif tidak hanya menjadi sebuah Desa Wisata namun des aini juga sebagai tempat untuk belajar dari beberapa mahasiswa KKN dan sekolah dari luar kota yang melakukan kegiatan live in. penulis membuat sebuah karya video feature bertujuan untuk menyajikan informasi tentang potensi apa saja yang ada di Desa Widosari.Widosari Tourism Village is one of the tourist villages in Kalurahan. Ngargosari, Samigaluh District, Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY). This is a small village which is currently developing into a tourist village visited by many people because of the several potentials that exist in the Widosari Tourism Village, such as educational tourism, nature tourism and arts and culture tourism. Starting in 2020, Ngargosari Village named its Tourism Village, Widosari Tourism Village. This village is very active, not only as a tourist village but also as a place to learn from several KKN and school students from outside the city who carry out live in activities. The author created a feature video work intend to give all of the information about the potential that exists in Widosari Village

Publisher Copyright: © 2023 The Author(s)Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations were used to model atomic layer deposition (ALD) coating processes in the continuum flow regime. CFD model was validated for non-reactive and reactive flows. In ALD CFD simulations, surfaces in various test cases were considered as non-porous aluminum oxide. The effect of trimethylaluminium precursor partial pressure, initial condition, and Reynolds number (Re) on coating timescale were analyzed. The CFD model accurately captured the surface coverage solution for all cases when the domain was initially filled with the precursor. The absence of initial precursor delayed coating time during the surface concentration level development process. As Re increased, coating time significantly decreased due to reduced diffusion limitations and promoted convection swiftly transporting precursors to the surfaces. The provided example showed that 2D polydisperse fixed cylinder bed is fully coated within approximately one flow time through the bed. The benefits of CFD in understanding ALD processes were discussed.Peer reviewe
