Mehdiyev'in biyografisi (hayatı-edebi kişiliği-eserleri) ve Frontoviklar adlı ilk romanının
incelenmesi başlıklarını içermektedir. Ayrıca Türkiye Türkçesine de aktarılan romanda;
okuyucusuna dönemin sosyal ve siyasi atmosferini anlama imkânı tanırOne of the important names for contemporary Tatar literature, who has Gabdulla Tukay

The Tatar Genealogies (shedzheres) »
The article is aimed at studying the relationship between the modern Tatar publicistic and medieval written monuments of the Golden Horde, Crimea, and Kazan Khanate.
Since the medieval Tatar written monuments are syncretic in content, they have the features of many types of genres of contemporary written document. In this case, the article sets the task to emphasize the similarity of these monuments with modern documents with publicistic content.
As a result of research the author found that the medieval Tatar official yarlyks, charters and letters are the precursors of contemporary governmental letters and agreements. The only difference is that they are likely to reflect the official State ideology, whereas the modern Tatar publicistics reflect the public reaction to the news in the life of society
Essay Genre in Tatar Journalism

In this article, an essay is considered as a journalistic genre in the context of modern Tatar journalism. Using the example of works by contemporary authors in the Tatar-speaking periodicals of Russia, the main genre and the semantic features of this genre are studied. An essay is a publicistic form to reflect on the topical issues of Russian reality. The reproduction of a fact is not so important for an essay. An important role is played by the description of the author's impressions, reflections and emotions. The periodical press has many materials in the Tatar language in which the author's opinion, author's principle and subjective opinion are strongly expressed. In fact, during the last decades of the twentieth century and the beginning of the twenty-first century there was a surge of essays in modern journalism. Due to some political events in Russia during the early 90s of the twentieth century, it was possible to express their thoughts and speak on the urgent problems in society openly in comparison with the Soviet reality. The object of research is essayism as a kind of journalistic creativity, the subject of the study is the essay genre in Tatar journalism. The empirical basis of the work consisted of the essays from Tatar journalists, publicists and writers. Provided that the personality of an author is one of the effectiveness factors concerning the publications in the genre of essay, the essayization of texts in Tatar journalism will be increased in the future.
</jats:p

Historical Plots in Siberian-Tatar Dastan “Ildan and Goldan”
The dastan “Ildan and Goldan”, the plot of which, according to the author of the article, was not widespread in the Siberian-Tatar folklore is considered in the article. It is noted that, unlike other das-tans, it is not present in the well-known col-lection of Siberian-Tatar folklore by V. V. Radlov. In this connection, the author assumes that this may be a literary work created by a specific author in the dastan genre, such as, for example, “Kalevala”, “Ural Batyr”, etc. The author proves that the plot of the work, based on historical events that took place on the territory of Western Siberia, the geographical names present in the dastan, a large number of words and speech turns characteristic of the Siberian-Tatar language, indicate that the dastan was recorded among the Siberian Tatars or by the author of the work is a native of the Siberian-Tatar environment. It is shown that the key place in the dastan, which tells about the events that took place in the Middle Ages, is given to the history of the Ishim Khanate. Parallels are revealed between the plots described in the dastan and in the Siberian chronicles. It is concluded that the authors of these works could use the same sources
