This is the program for the faculty recital featuring mezzo-soprano Cindy Dvirnak Schultz. Ms. Schultz was assisted by pianist Russell Hodges and flautist Ralph Rauch. This recital took place on January 27, 1977, in the Mabee Fine Arts Center Recital Hall
Letter from Ralph L. Cheney to Frederick Schultz (February 14, 1918)
A letter from Ralph L. Cheney to Frederick Schultz dated February 14, 1918. In the letter, Cheney thanks Schultz for his reports on Springfield men and asks if tennis will ever become an activity among army men.Ralph L. Cheney served as the head of Springfield College’s Secretarial Department from 1907 to 1924. Before taking this position, he worked as a YMCA secretary in Albany and Niagara Falls, New York.
Schultz worked as a YMCA athletic chief at Camp Cody during World War I, where he organized all-camp events and competitions. Camp Cody was an army training facility named after Buffalo Bill and located in Deming, New Mexico. It was in operation only during World War I
