Integrating Local Wisdom : Local wisdom Curriculum development for Learning Skill on Free Time in Elementary school, Doi Lo District, Chiang-Mai Province
No full textThe purposes of this research were to: 1) develop local wisdom Curriculum for learning skill on free time in elementary school, Doi Lo district, Chiang-Mai province, and to study the effectiveness of a local curriculum. The research and development procedure were comprised of four steps : 1) study the fundamental data to develop a local curriculum by teachers, students, local wisdom and student’s guardian by interviewing. 2) design and construct the local curriculum. The research tools were semi-structured interview and curriculum outline 3) implement the curriculum into two periods : pilot study and curriculum experiment. In the pilot study, the curriculum was used with 47 grade 1-6 students at Ban Nong Ngao School, Yangkram sub-district, Doilo district to study the suitability of using the curriculum in a real situation. After that the curriculum was experimented with samples who were in grade 1-6 students at 4 schools, 4 sub-district, Doilo district,, Chiang Mai. The experiment took two hours daily for 10 days. Statistics used in data analyses were percentage, mean, S.D. and t-test for dependent samples.
The results of this study have shown that :1) The quality of developed curriculum was highly suitable and having correspondence among curriculum component; consisted the following elements : rationale, introduction, vision, mission, morale, objectives, learners’ competencies, desired qualifications, curriculum structure, subject and learning standards, learning standards and indicators, course description, units, learning arrangement, contents, time, instruction guidelines, educational media and resources, and learning evaluation and measurement. 2) From the experimental used of the curriculum, it was found that students were highly interested in the subject and paid attention in learning. They could cook local food and sweet accordingly. They enjoyed learning the subject. The results of evaluation and curriculum improvement have shown that students’ learning achievement was higher after they were taught with the developed curriculum at a significance level of .05 Overall, satisfaction of students towards the curriculum was in the high level.การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) พัฒนาหลักสูตรภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น สำหรับจัดกิจกรรมเสริมทักษะในโรงเรียนระดับประถมศึกษา อำเภอดอยหล่อ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ 2) ศึกษาผลการใช้หลักสูตรภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น ดำเนินการวิจัยโดยใช้กระบวนการวิจัยและพัฒนา 4 ขั้นตอน ดังนี้ 1) ศึกษาค้นคว้าข้อมูลพื้นฐานเพื่อพัฒนาหลักสูตรจากครู นักเรียน ผู้ปกครอง และภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นด้วยการสัมภาษณ์ 2) ออกแบบและสร้างหลักสูตร เครื่องมือที่ใช้คือแบบสัมภาษณ์แบบกึ่งมีโครงสร้าง แบบประเมินโครงร่างหลักสูตร 3) ทดลองใช้หลักสูตร แบ่งเป็น 2 ระยะ คือระยะศึกษานําร่องและระยะทดลองใช้หลักสูตร ระยะนําร่องนําหลักสูตรไปทดลองใช้กับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ถึง 6 โรงเรียนวัดหนองหลั้ว ตําบลยางคราม อําเภอดอยหล่อ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 47 คน ศึกษาความเหมาะสมการใช้หลักสูตรในสภาพจริง เครื่องมือที่ใช้คือหลักสูตรภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นสำหรับจัดกิจกรรมเสริมทักษะในโรงเรียนระดับประถมศึกษา และ 4) ประเมินผลและการปรับปรุงหลักสูตร กลุ่มตัวอย่างได้แก่ โรงเรียนระดับประถมศึกษา อำเภอดอยหล่อ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 4 โรงเรียนได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม (cluster random sampling) โดยใช้ตำบลเป็นหน่วยในการสุ่ม ใช้ระยะเวลาทดลอง 10 วันๆ ละ 2 ชั่วโมง รวม 20 ชั่วโมง ใช้รูปแบบการทดลองแบบกลุ่มเดียวทดสอบก่อน และหลังการใช้หลักสูตร เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ หลักสูตรภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นสำหรับจัดกิจกรรมเสริมทักษะในโรงเรียนระดับประถมศึกษา แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน แบบประเมินความพึงพอใจต่อการเรียนโดยใช้หลักสูตรภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่า t-test แบบ Dependent Samples
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) หลักสูตรภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นสำหรับจัดกิจกรรมเสริมทักษะในโรงเรียนระดับประถมศึกษา อำเภอดอยหล่อ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีคุณภาพเหมาะสมอยู่ในระดับมาก ( = 4.40, S.D. = 0.41) มีความสอดคล้องระหว่างองค์ประกอบของหลักสูตร ได้แก่ คำชี้แจงในการใช้หลักสูตร ความนำ วิสัยทัศน์ พันธกิจ หลักการ จุดหมาย สมรรถนะสำคัญของผู้เรียน คุณลักษณะอันพึงประสงค์ โครงสร้างหลักสูตร สาระและมาตรฐานการเรียนรู้ และตัวชี้วัด คำอธิบายรายวิชา หน่วยการเรียนรู้ การจัดการเรียนรู้ เนื้อหา เวลาเรียน แนวการจัดการเรียนการสอน สื่อและแหล่งการเรียนรู้ การวัดและประเมินผลการเรียนรู้ และ 2) ผลการทดลองใช้หลักสูตร พบว่า นักเรียนมีความรู้เกี่ยวกับภูมิปัญญาอาหารและขนมพื้นบ้าน ลงมือทำตามขั้นตอน สนุกสนานกับกิจกรรม นักเรียนมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนหลังใช้หลักสูตรสูงกว่าก่อนใช้หลักสูตรอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 มีความพึงพอใจต่อหลักสูตรอยู่ในระดับมากมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
