Prof. Dr. Shefik Osmani – Mendimtari i shquar i pedagogjisë shqiptare

1. “Forever with Shefik”- a monography by Urti Osmani;
2. “About seven publications” by Prof. Dr. Shefik Osmani.
First activity: on the first anniversary of death of Prof. Dr. Shefik, his wife Urti Osmani writes a book mainly about the family life of Professor. I met Professor when I was student. He was Head master and also taught us Pedagogy Teaching methods and endless studies shed light of his high scientific and pedagogical standards. The book consisting of 286 pages reflects the continuity of serious work, full of dignity done by Prof. Osmani brought with outmost care by his wife and collaborator Urti Osmani. We are convinced -said the author- that who lives after the death belongs to history. The book contains seven chapters reflecting his responsibility on pedagogical and life phenomena. It comes after forty books already published and highlights the emblematic diapason of honorable Professor. It includes particularly his many of his journeys after 90’ on his communications with distinguished world personalities and institutions. Those include: Kosova, Italy, Rumania, Macedonia, Turkey, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Iran, U.A.E, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Sweden. Highly appreciated is also the wisdom of some personalities about Prof. Osmani and high linguistic and cultural standards of the author Urti Osmani.
Second activity: out of forty publications of Prof. Dr. Shefik Osmani, seven of them are cited on: “Assessment on Prof. Dr. Shefik Osmani”, Tirana, 2014, page 384.Në këtë artikull janë objekt dy veprimtari të profesorit të nderuar:
1. Botimi “Përjetë me Shefikun”, monografi me autore Urti Osmani ,“Mësuese e Popullit”;
2. Rreth shtatë botimeve të Prof. dr. Shefik Osmani.
Veprimtaria e parë: me rastin e 1-vjetorit të ndarjes nga jeta të Prof. Dr. Shefik Osmani, bashkëshortja e të ndjerit, Urtie Osmani (“Mësuese e Popullit”), realizon librin objekt kryesisht për jetën familjare të profesorit. Jam njohur me profesorin në bankat e shkollës ku ai ishte drejtor dhe na zhvillonte edhe lëndën e pedagogjisë. Mësimëdhënia si edhe realizimet e shumta studimore e botuese të tij, dëshmojnë për një nivel të lartë pedagogjik dhe shkencor. Libri objekt, prej 286 faqesh, shënon vazhdimësinë e punës serioze dhe dinjitoze të prof. Osmanit, të cilën me patos të lartë e pasqyron autorja, bashkëshortja, njëherësh bashkëpuntorja e ngushtë e Profesorit, Urtie Osmani. -“Jemi të bindur, - thotë autorja, - se kush jeton pas vdekjes i përket historisë”. Libri analizohet prej shtatë kapitujsh të cilët dëshmojnë për gjerësinë dhe gjithëpërfshirjen kryesisht për dukuritë jetësore dhe ato pedagogjike. Në vazhdën e dyzetë librave të botuara, monografia objekt e përfytyron edhe më tej diapazonin emblematik të profesorit të nderuar. Këtu përfshihen posacërisht edhe udhëtimet e tij të shumta pas viteve ’90, duke komunikuar me personalitete dhe instituticione të rëndësishme botërore. Të tilla kanë qenë: Kosova, Italia, Rumania, Maqedonia, Turqia, Zvicra, Gjermania, Hollanda, Irani, Emiratet e Bashkuara Arabe, Belgjika, Arabia Saudite, Egjipti, Suedia. Me vlerësime të mëdha janë edhe urtitë e shfaqura nga disa personalitete për figurën e shquar të Profesor Shefikut, por ashtu edhe për nivelin kulturor e gjuhësor të autores Urtie Osmani.

Lithium transport in crown ether polymers
Get PDFA series of 12-, 13-, and 14-membered crown ether rings bearing polymerisable side-chains has been synthesised. The crown ethers were attached to a methacrylate or acrylate polymerisable group either via a short link (Ring-CH(_2)-O-Polymer) or via a spacer group. Both hydrocarbon and ethylene oxide spacer groups were used, giving structures of the form (Ring-CH(_2)-O-(CH(_2))(_6)-O-Polymer) and (Ring-CH(_2)-O-((CH(_2)CH(_2))(_2)O)-Polymer). The ethylene oxide chain can potentially bind to a Li(^+) dopant ion. The relative Li(+) binding affinity of 12-, 13-, and 14-membered mono- and disubstituted crown ethers has been assessed by variable temperature (^13)c and (^7)Li NMR. The crown ether bearing monomers were polymerised using standard free-radical polymerisation methods to yield amorphous materials whose glass transition temperature (T(_g)) was controlled principally by the nature of the spacer group. On doping with lithium triflate (LiCF(_3)SO(_3)), the polymers exhibit high ionic conductivity. The conductivity was primarily dependent on polymer T(_g), but was also found to be higher for 12-crown-4 based systems than for 13-crown-4 and 14-crown-4 based analogues. This behaviour was consistent with the results of the NMR studies, which showed that Li(^+) exchange occurs more readily between 12-crown-4 rings than 13- or 14-crown-4 rings. The NMR studies also showed that 12-crown-4 systems have a higher tendency to form 2:1 (ring : Li(^+)) complexes. Within a polymer matrix, the presence of 2:1 complexes allows Li(^+) migration via an association-disassociation mechanism, avoiding the high energy intermediate state of a free or weakly bound Li(^+) ion. The greater encapsulation provided by 2:1 complexation may also aid in ion pair separation

No full textFrom February 1st, a place has remained empty in the editorial- staff of "The Universe" periodical. One of its members, Prof. Dr. Hysni Myzyri (Elbasan, February 1935- Tirana, February 2007), passed away after suffering a severe disease that took him in the peak of his scientific activity.
He is the author of large number of works of historical-scientific character: "The first Albanian National Schools" (1973), "The Association of the Albanian Letters' Printing"(1979), "Nuçi Naçi (Life and work)" (Tirana, 1986), "Albanian National Education (19058-1912)" (Prishtina, 1996)- Edited by the Publishing Company of School Texts and Tools, "Pandeli J. Evangjeli" (2004) "The Normal School of Elbasan (1909-1912)" (Tirana, 2004).
As co-author, he has published "The History of Albania" Vol.II (Tirana, 1984); "The History of Albanian People" Vol. I (Chapter 5 -Education's development in the end of the 19th century and in the beginning of the 20th century (1882-1902) and Chapter 6 -The National Albanian School (1908-1912), Tirana, 2003); authored many entries in the "Albanian Encyclopedic Dictionary" (Tirana, 1985); Also he is co-author and responsible editor of the edition "History of Albania and Albanians" (1994) as well as of texts of history for 8-form and high schools published in Tirana and Kosova.
As a publicist of the historical problems (especially in the field of education) he has carried out a wide range activity, writing in The "Historical Studies", "Philosophical Studies", "The Pedagogical Periodical", "The History of Education”, “Universe" periodicals as well as in the everyday press. His has rendered a distinguished contribution as a member of the "Univers" periodical's editorial staff with his remarks of scientific character, being up-dated regarding to our society's requirements as well as by publishing several researches that are especially of worth in the field of culture by putting into evidence the main personalities the periods of our National Renaissance and before the Second World War.Në redaksinë e revistës “Univers”, që nga 1 shkurti, një vend ka mbetur bosh. Anëtari i redaksisë, prof.dr. Hysni Myzyri (Elbasan, shkurt 1935 Tiranë, shkurt 2007), ndërroi jetë pas një sëmundjeje të rëndë, që e këputi në pjekurinë më të madhe të veprimtarisë së tij shkencore. Ai është, gjithashtu, bashkautor i teksteve mësimore të historisë për shkollat tetëvjeçare e të mesme, të botuara në Tiranë dhe në Prishtinë. Prof.dr. Hysni Myzyri ka zhvilluar një veprimtari të gjerë si publicist i problemeve historike (sidomos në fushën e arsimit) në revistat: “Studime historike”, “Studime filologjike”, “Univers”, “Revista pedagogjike”, “Historia e arsimit” si dhe në shtypin e përditshëm. Ai ka dhënë një kontribut të shquar si anëtar i stafit editorial të periodikut "Univers" me vërejtjet e tij të karakterit shkencor, duke qenë i përditësuar me kërkesat e shoqërisë sonë. The Author as Researcher
No full textThis article proposes a new perspective on avant-garde travel writing through the lens of scientific field work, investigating these new writing techniques in Boris Pil’niak’s expedition prose. In the 1920s, the researching writer represents a hidden, but influential counterpart to the widely propagated figure of the working writer. While the author as producer combines word and deed in an operative act, the author as researcher investigates the production of knowledge. This entails revising the centrality of facts. Literature as artistic research subverts factography by going beyond the horizons of veristic data registration to include uncharted realms and vague possibilities. This exploration leads to specific genres: the author as researcher tries his hand at a kind of laboratory text, a prolific genre at the intersection of testing equipment, recording media, and hypothetical thought. Not confined to a sterile lab, avant-garde writer-researchers, as members of research expeditions, oscillate between their home writing desks and the remote depths of the emerging USSR. At the same time, they explore writing practices situated between data acquisition, sampling, fact-finding, observation and recording
