دراسة مخطوط: قول المستحسن في فخر الحسن
The manuscript under review "Al-Qawl Al-Mustehsan fi Fakhar-ul-Hasan" is basically an extended and comprehensive version of "Risala Fakhar-ul-Hasan". The mentioned treatise "Risala Fakhar-ul-Hasan" is written by Maulana Muhaddith Shah Fakhruddin Dehlvi (R.A). It is a detailed research with reference to the knowledge of hadith and the names of narrators (Asma-ur-Rijal). The subject of this treatise (Risala) is an answer to a famous objection raised by Hazrat Shah Waliullah Muhaddith Dehlvi (R.A). While objecting, Hazrat Shah Waliullah Muhaddith Dehlvi (R.A) raised the point that Hazrat Hasan Basri's (R.A) narration from Hazrat Ali (R.A) is not connected (Muttasil) but transmitted (Mursal). The author of this treatise (Risalah) has proved with arguments and proofs that Hazrat Ali's (R.A) hadith narrated by Hazrat Hasan Basri (R.A), is not transmitted (Mursal) but connected (Muttasil). Allama Shah Fakhruddin Dehlvi's (R.A) stance has been further strengthened by Allama Hasan-ul-Zaman (R.A), who has supported it by adding more arguments in his Sharah "Al-Qawl Al-Mustehsan fi Fakhar-ul-Hasan"
Interfacing the ?-VEX with the µBlaze processor
Developments in reconfigurable platforms result in constantly increasing available area and improving technology. These improvements allow embedded systems to implement increasingly complicated systems. As a result the performance gap of processors build on FPGA technology compared to Semi-custom ASIC technology is decreasing. The down side of these developments is the increasing complexity in designing an embedded system, and the longer development tracks that result from this complexity. In this thesis, we design and implement a flexible platform aimed for ease of use whilst offering significant speed-up compared to a General Purpose Processor based system. As a basis for our platform we have taken the MOLEN Polymorphic Processor. By combining a General Purpose Processor with custom accelerators only parts of an application have to be implemented in custom hardware to gain considerable speedup. We aim to decrease the implementation effort further by using a VLIW processor as accelerator in the MOLEN system. Specifically the Xilinx MicroBlaze processor is used as host processor and the r-VEX VLIW processor is used as the accelerator. The r-VEX processor offers parametrization of many of its aspects, such as the issue width and logic organization. As a result of the parametrization a r-VEX processor can be implemented that meets the applications specific requirements.Computer EngineeringMicroelectronics & Computer EngineeringElectrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Scienc
ملتان میں فلسفے کی روایت
It is an established fact that Multan is one of the oldest cities of the world, which has a reputation of a living city for the last five thousand years. It has a great tradition of institution and thought which reflects its centers of worship, variety of religions and beliefs, compilation of holy book of "Rig Veda' and philosophical attainments and pursuits of the scholars. Great Muslim philosopher, historians, travelers and Sufies have visited this city, one way or the other. Nasir Khusrau (philosopher and a preacher), Al-Beruni (historian and scholar), Fakhar-ud-din Razi (interpreter and philosopher), Samauddin Multani, Abdullah Multani, Maulana Fateh-ullah and Bahauddin Zakariya Multani have become the major source of philosophical tradition in Multan. Atiq Fikri, Qazi Javed and Shabbir Ahmad Ghauri has traced this tradition and the author of this paper has utilized the sources as well as the cultural heritage of Sufi poets of this area

Study of Historical and Ideological Theme in Amir Arsalān Story
Amir Arsalān-e-Nāmdār fiction is one of the luckiest romances in popular style. Apparently, it is created by Mirza Mohammad Ali Naqib al-mamālek, the court storyteller or naqqāl bāashi of Naser al-din Shāh and written down by Fakhar al-dowleh, a daughter of Shāh. Mohammad Jafar Mahjub, the editor of the standard edition of Amir Arsalān, confirmed. Since popular literature can be considered as a window to reflect the social life of people, the messages from this type of literature are usually in accordance with the historical, cultural and ideological facts about people of the their territory and time. In this study, the author has focused on the historical, cultural and ideological background of popular literature. She illustrates the relation between the historical reports given from Amir Arsalān ibn Davood Saljouqi, Malekshāh Saljouqi’s life and the underlying subjective motives of Amir Arsalān-e-Nāmdār. Considering the most important component in historical literature and the story of Amir Arsalān, this study concludes that the historical story of Arsalān ibn Davood Saljouqi and Malekshāh has been transferred to a romance story through time while the story has been narrated, written or unwritten, before it has eventually been written in Nāseri era
