    Degradation and orientation of collagen / Saiful Bahri Mohd Yasin

    The degradation of collagen properties such as UV light exposure, solvent effect and pH affect was investigated. At initially, Difference Scanning Calorimetric (DSC) was used to investigate the temperature profile of raw collagen. Then, collagen was diluted in water, a mild acetic acid and hydrochloric acid to form collagen film by bulk film into petri dish and thin film on glass slide as well as Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) coated glass slide. The film was exposed to Ultraviolet light to investigate the degradation of the molecular structure by using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR) spectrum. The Polarized Microscope (PLM) was utilized to observe the orientation of the collagen on glass and Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) coated glass slide. The finding for these studies was employed for application of thin film used for medical purposes

    Growth of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has always been considered as a contemporary subject that many researchers have studied. Previous research has linked a variety of factors to economic growth fluctuations in varied degrees. Inconsistent GDP per capita growth within a country will result in a higher incidence of poverty, as well as stymie advances in health, education, crime, and economic growth. The elements that contribute to GDP growth are quite important in preventing socio-political instability. In this study, we will research the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Malaysia with these factors which are inflation, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Female Labor Force. Annual time series data for the 1999 to 2019 periods, the Ordinary Least Square Method (OLS), T-test, F-test and Coefficient of Determination are used for the analysis

    A family mould consists of different shape of cavities used, while a multi cavity mould contains same shape of cavities to create injection products. The combinations of these features create a new family mould which is beneficial for the manufacturing cost and time reduction in injection moulding process. However, the main problem of the conventional family mould is the different cavity volume, led to an imbalance of melt filling behaviour. There are many successful family mould modifications which enabled a balance of melt filling such as an artificial balance runner system, runner shut-off system and variable runner system. Nevertheless, the inconsistencies of the melt filling behaviour in these family moulds are yet to be resolved especially when they are utilized in high mass production. Hence, the idea of an interchangeable turning sprue bushing (ITSB) insert was proposed in this study in order to overcome the imbalance of melt filling behaviour. The key for rotating ITSB insert was designed in three stages prior to a final ITSB design. The two chosen product geometry utilized were tensile and flexural test pieces, which were designed with the support of CAE analysis to obtain a favourable feeding system. With the incorporation of ITSB insert at the layout centre, the melt was able to shift in accordance to ITSB insert rotation. This allows filling of the tensile and flexural cavities during moulding at different times and different processing conditions, which resulted in melt filling balance behaviour. The optimization of the injection moulding process such as packing pressure, injection speed and holding time were successfully conducted through Scientific moulding analysis. The efficiency of the ITSB design and its consistency during production were successfully measured from the mass and wall thicknesses data during pilot production. In conclusion, ITSB insert was found to be a favourable optional design that can be considered for injection mould industry in order to produce multi design products

    Malaysia's Takaful industry is a developing rapidly since the first Takaful Company which is Syarikat Takaful Malaysia was established in 1985. Since year 2005 until 2010, the Malaysian Takaful has been experiencing the increasing and Family Takaful business shows the positive growth. The aim of this study is to analyze the factor that influencing financial performance of Family Takaful business. This study is limited to focus in 8 years period. Financial data has been collected on yearly basis from year 2003 until year 2010. 8 Takaful operators out of 12 has become as a sample. Data analysis has been done by using Eviews program. The data collected was analysed by using a basic statistical techniques which is Multiple Linear Regression. The result shows that the Company Size has a significance negative relationship with the financial performance of Malaysian Family Takaful. Meanwhile, Liquidity and Underwriting Risk have a significant positive relationship with the financial performance of Malaysian Family Takaful

    ABSTRAK Ferdiansyah Saiful Bahri 1800158 “Pengaruh Hiking Motivation terhadap Revisit Intention di Taman Nasional Gunung Ciremai” (Survei Terhadap Wisatawan yang Melakukan Pendakian di Taman Nasional Gunung Ciremai Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19) di bawah bimbingan Oce Ridwanudin S.E., MM dan Yeni Yuniawati. S.Pd.,MM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaiamana pengaruh dari hiking motivation terhadap revisit intention di Taman Nasional Gunung Ciremai. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan variabel bebas (X) yakni achievement, enjoy nature, escape, social dan health serta menjadi variabel terikat (Y) revisit intention. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan metode explanatory survey dan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional study. Data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dengan pengambilan sampel sebanyak 124 responden yaitu wisatawan yang pernah melakukan aktivitas pendakian di Taman Nasional Gunung Ciremai. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda dengan menggunakan bantuan program software SPSS for windows 26.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara simultan terdapat pengaruh yang signfikan antara hiking motivation terhadap revisit intention. Secara parsial sub variabel achievement, enjoy nature, escape, dan social berpengaruh signifikan terhadap revisit intention. namun tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada sub variabel health terhadap revisit intention. Dimensi achievement mendapat penliaian tertinggi, sedangkan dimensi health mendapatkan penilaian terendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh antara hiking motivation terhadap revisit intention. S.Pd., MM. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between the reason for going trecking and the desire to return to Mount Ciremai National Park. In this research, the independent variable (X) was employed, and its relationship to the dependent variable (Y) was analyzed. The independent variable (X) was comprised of accomplishment, enjoy nature, escape, social, and health, respectively. Research that is descriptive and verification in nature, using explanatory survey methodologies, and taking a cross-sectional study strategy are the types that are conducted. For the purpose of this research, primary data were collected from a sample of 124 respondents. These respondents were travelers who had participated in mountaineering activities at Mount Ciremai National Park. Multiple regression is the method of data analysis that is carried out with the assistance of the software package SPSS for Windows 26.0. The findings of the research indicate that there is a strong relationship, concurrently, between the urge to go hiking and the intention to return to an area. There is a considerable relationship between the subvariables of achieving, enjoying nature, escaping, and socializing with others, and the wish to return. On the other hand, the health sub-variable does not have a substantial influence on the desire to return. The rating that was given to the accomplishment component was the highest, while the rating that was given to the health dimension was the lowest. The findings of the research indicate that there is a connection between the desire to go hiking and the likelihood of doing so in the future.     This thesis presents a study of Micro-machined silicon Vibrating Ring gyroscope by using ANSYS software. It concludes the process from designing the structure until the simulation. There are four control factors have been varied for four levels, which are support spring diameter, ring diameter, height of ring structure and support post diameter by using taguchi method. A research on the structure has been done to find the suitable design and parameter. The experiments were arranged involving the control factor in L16 orthogonal arrays. This method is used to find the optimum frequency from the combination of experiment. After done simulate all 16 experiment, it shows that the optimum frequency simulated in ANSYS is 11769 Hz, which is experiment 6 the combination A2B2C1D4. Based on previous work, it show that this project from experiment 6 give better resonant frequency value than previous work

Sangat menarik untuk melakukan studi analitik tentang puisi Imam Busairy karena telah menyebar di Indonesia sejak abad ketujuh belas. Orang-orang Muslim telah menggunakan puisi ini di masjid-masjid dan mushola-mushola, yang disenandungkan puisi ini sebelum didirikannya doa. Serta Muslim menggunakan puisi ini untuk acara walimah, sehingga umat Islam tahu nilai makna puisi ini yang berharga serta mereka tahu dari segi ilmu arudh dan qawafy. Karya sastra terbagi tiga bagian, syi’ir, prosa dan seni. Syi’ir adalah karya sastra yang ditulis oleh seorang. Syi’ir Syekh Imam Busyiry yang merupakan judul dalam pembahasan ini, sebab terdapat unsur yang sesuai dengan ilmu Arudh dan Qafiah yang memiliki bentuk yang sangat indah. Cara untuk menganalisis yang sesuai dengan syi’ir dalam konteks ilmu Bahasa Arab salah satunya ilmu Arudh dan Qafiah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah:1). Mengetahui bahr yang digunakan dalam Syi’ir Syekh Imam Busyiry beserta penjelasannya. 2). Mengetahui huruf qafiah, harakat qafiaf dan nama qafiah yang digunakan dalam Syi’ir Syekh Imam Busyiry. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan metode penelitian dokumentasi. Adapun penelitian menggunakan taqti’ terhadap syi’ir tersebut dengan ilmu Arudh. Maka dengan demikian peneliti mengumpulkan beberapa referensi yang telah dipelajari sebelumnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa bahr yang terdapat dalam syi’ir tersebut berupa bahr basith, sedangkan arudhnya adalah makhbunah dan darabnya adalah makhbun, sedangkan zihafah semuanya al-khobn. Adapun huruf qafiah pada syi’ir tersebut adalah semuanya rawy, yaitu rawy al-mutlak yang berupa mimiyat dan al-wasl, yaitu ya’. Sedangkan harakat yang terdapat pada syi’ir tersebut semuanya harakat al-majra’ al-kasrah terhadap huruf mim. Sedangkan nama qafiah yang terdapat pada syi’ir tersebut adalah al-mutarakib

    This study is carried out as a partial requirement for the award of Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons.) from the School of Mechanical Engineering, MARA Institute of Technology, Shah Alam. District Cooling System is a method of providing the needs for cooling load of a large area (District term) collectively from one or more central chiller plants. Since cooling is a necessity and is known to consume a large amount of power, a mean of saving in terms of expenditure is normally goes with it. Thermal Energy Storage is well known for this purpose. Thus, this study is about District Cooling System with Chilled Water Storage. This study will try to extract the possibility of applying this system to PNB Building and the possibility of selling the excessive cooling load to neighbourhood buildings like LUTH, second phase under construction PNB's Building and a nearby apartment's block. We will also analyse the savings applicable by PNB's electrical expenditures for HVAC System. In doing so, a brief study is made onto the existing conventional applied system at PNB Building to investigate the cooling load and its electricity bills. The cooling load at LUTH and the apartments is estimated. This study will also cover relevant topics like TES and DCS with chilled water storage to help further understandings
