HRTEM and SAED investigations of CuxMTe2 (M = V, Nb, Ta)
No full textThe copper intercalation compounds Cu0.87VTe2, CuNbTe2 and Cu0.89TaTe2
which were synthesised from the binary tellurides via topotactic low
temperature intercalation reactions, were investigated by HRTEM and
SAED. All the samples show microdomains with different types of order.
Apart from the average structure which was revealed from Rietveld
refinements earlier, also domains of commensurate superstructures with
a fourfold b-axis and incommensurate modulations with q approximate to
(0 1/4.2 0) are found. These domains show wave-like contrasts in the
HRTEM micrographs. The "waves" have different propagation vectors,
which can be related to the position of satellite reflections in SAED.
For CuNbTe2, a large number of structure models was tested, which were
based on the single crystal structure Of CU0.70NbTe2 (P2(1)/m (no. 11),
a = 6.6872(9), b = 3.7018(5) and c = 7.324(1) angstrom, beta =
107.270(2)degrees). Finally, a structure model with a simple distortion
is presented, which accounts for the superstructures seen in SAED, the
wave-like contrast and the different propagation directions in the

No full textLes évolutions récentes de l'environnement économique et institutionnel de la filière riz (privatisation, libéralisation et dévaluation) ont modifié la structure des prix et des coûts. La SAED/DPDR avec l'appui financier du Ministère français de la coopération à travers la convention FAC 72, a donc engagé une étude pour connaître les structures actuelles et ainsi mieux appréhender les aspects économiques de cette filière. L'étude a porté notamment sur les consommations intermédiaires du processus de production, car l'objectif était de compléter les travaux déjà menés ou en cours à la SAED. Le document comporte quatre parties : 1 -décomposition des prix de ventes et d'acquisition du materiel agricole et des pièces détachées, 2 -conditions et coût des prêts à moyens termes de deux organismes financiers, 3 -les intrants et les prestations de services, 4 décomposition du prix du riz et des coûts de production, de transformation et de commercialisation dans le delt

No full textWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
