Variation of splat shape with processing conditions in plasma sprayed alumina coatings
This paper is on various splat shapes obtained using three alumina based powders sprayed on various
substrates. The parameters considered were substrate preheating temperature, nozzle diameter, and
secondary and primary gas flow rates. The splat shape was found to be strongly dependent on spraying
conditions. The substrate preheating temperature determined the degree of substrate wetting by the
splat. A change in either nozzle diameter or primary gas flow rate brought about a change in the particle
momentum and subsequently, a change in splat shape. The splat shape differed widely on an as – sprayed
bond coat as compared to a polished one, owing to splat confinement by surface asperities. Sub-microscale
surface roughness of polished substrate surfaces showed an increase with the preheating temperature
and this in turn, resulted in better substrate wetting by the splats

This article reports on concerns about hoax news, radicalism has spread on social media (social media). This concern surfaced when the hoax spread to boil down to utterances of hatred. This article aims to find out hoaxes on social media then look for solutions. The research method used is framing analysis conducted by gathering all the contents of the news about hoaxes and radicalism. Tantangan Resolusi Konflik dalam Upaya Mewujudkan Perdamaian di Suriah
The conflict in Syria has been going on for more than a decade, and is inflicting significant damage on the Middle East region. The complexity of the conflict in Syria is partly due to the involvement of regional and global powers. In this context, global peace efforts are an important focus for dealing with the conflict. This study aims to analyze the interests in the conflict in Syria and global peace efforts in dealing with it. This research was conducted using exploratory qualitative research methods. The theory used in this study is the theory of conflict resolution and peace in international relations. The research findings show that although efforts to achieve global peace continue, a complex set of challenges on the ground as well as prolonged geopolitical tensions continue to be major obstacles in the search for a peaceful solution for Syria

KOMUNIKASI LINGKUNGAN TANI MUDA SANTAN MELALUI FESTIVAL SUNGAI SANTAN
Penelitian ini memotret Tani Muda Santan dalam memperjuangkan lingkungan mereka melalui event Festival Sungai Santan. Krisis lingkungan yang terjadi di tiga Desa yaitu Desa Santan Ulu, Santan Tengah, Santan Ilir Kecamatan Marangkayu, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara sejak tahun 2000an hingga saat ini menjadi basis gerakan sosial-budaya Tani Muda Santan untuk membangun memori koleftif masyarakat terkait eksistensi Sungai Santan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan narasi keselamatan lingkungan yang dibangun Tani Muda Santan. Data diperoleh melalui partisipat observation tahun 2018 dan 2019 dengan dilengkapi wawancara dua tokoh kampung dan inisitor Tani Muda Santan, Taufik Iskandar.
Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tani Muda Santan menarasikan Sungai Santan sebagai entitas budaya yang perlu dilestarikan untuk keberlangsungan hidup masyarakat Santan. Selain itu, narasi perusahaan tambang adalah perusak lingkungan yang perlu diwaspadai

Environmental problems are getting worse every day. One of the factors that influenced it was a very dense population. Population density will produce very large waste or garbage. If waste or waste that cannot be managed properly results in unavoidable damage to the environment. Environmental problems that occur in urban Indonesia, generally include three main things, namely: First, environmental quality tends to decrease, hygiene problems (garbage), green open space (RTH), and water and air pollution. Second, the capacity of the government apparatus is relatively inadequate in dealing with the problems faced. Third, the participation or participation of the community in managing the urban environment is still relatively low. The above problems must be overcome by increasing population awareness of existing environmental problems. SEJARAH PEMIKIRAN DAN GERAKAN DAKWAH JAMAAH TABLIGH
Diskusi ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan sejarah dan perkembangan Jamaah Tabligh, mengemukakan tokoh utama dan mengidentifikasi anggotanya, menjelaskan ideology dan metode dakwah yang digunakan oleh Jamaah Tabligh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menemukan. Pertama, lahirnya Jamaah Tabligh dipengaruhi oleh kultur Islam lokal, marjinalisasi minoritas dan politik imperalisme Inggris. Kedua, tokoh utama dan pendiri gerakan ini adalah seorang ulama sufi yang dibesarkan dari kalangan sufi India yaitu Muhammad Ilyas bin Muhammad Ismail al-Kandahlawi, keanggotaan Jamaah Tabligh dibuat berdasarkan strata aktivitasnya ber-khuruj. Ketiga, Jamaah Tabligh berideologi ahlu sunnah wal-jama’ah, tidak fanatic mazhab dan berkepribadian sufistik dan jauh dari sifat radikalisme politik. Keempat, Jamaah Tabligh ditandai dengan metode dakwahnya yang khas, yaitu khuruj yang mereka tafsirkan dari ayat Alquran dan mencontoh ke zaman Nabi dan sahabatnya
FIB assisted study of plasma sprayed splat–substrate interfaces: NiAl–stainless steel and alumina–NiAl combinations
This paper deals with the splat–substrate and intersplat interfaces of splats produced from Ni–5 wt.% Al and alumina based ceramic powders. The cross section of the splat–substrate interface was studied using a focused ion beam (FIB) assisted Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM). The metallic splat showed good interfacial integrity apart from a few interfacial pores resulting from entrapped gases and edge curl resulting from quenching stresses. The ceramics showed generally well adherent interfaces for both single and multilayer splats. Good adherence of both alumina splats was attributed to the improved wettability provided by the bond coat. One kind of alumina splats, namely, those obtained from agglomerated nanostructured powder was found to be free from crack and edge curl. This was attributed to the presence of a glassy phase in this splat, which can absorb quenching stresses
