No full textIl volume intende ricostruire le principali caratteristiche e modalità operative degli attori sistemici presenti a livello internazionale e regionale nell’ambito della cooperazione internazionale dello sviluppo. Si esaminano in particolare i soggetti istituzionali, a vocazione programmatica o più specificamente dotati di un assetto e di competenze finanziarie, monetarie o commerciali, i quali hanno contribuito sin dall’immediato secondo dopoguerra al processo di ricostruzione materiale dell’economia mondiale, spostando poi la loro attenzione, dagli anni ’60, non soltanto sugli aspetti di sottosviluppo economico dei Paesi di nuova indipendenza ma anche sulla definizione di obiettivi di portata prioritaria nell’impostazione di strategie condivise dall’intera Comunità internazionale per la promozione di processi di natura cooperativa, finalizzati a migliorare le condizioni di vita della popolazione mondiale, il benessere socio-economico, la salute, l’educazione. Per ciascun sistema universale e regionale sono stati ricostruite le finalità statutarie, l’assetto organico e le modalità proprie del rispettivo sistema di cooperazione. Il volume include un utile glossario che elenca i principali concetti e principi di uso comune nel linguaggio cooperativo.The volume aims at featuring the main institutional and operative elements of the international and regional actors involved in the development co-operation. In particular systemic actors that plan and/or have specific trade and financial competences are under attention since their institution following the second world war in order to rebuild the global economy as well as their contribution in determining the relevant objectives during the ‘60s, as main components of the International Community’s strategies not only addressed to the new independent states but also in terms of development aid, improvement of social and economic welfare, health and education. For each systemic actor, objectives, structure and practical actions have been examined in detail. The volume includes also a glossary that illustrates concepts and principles typically used in the development co-operation language

No full textL’A. ha contribuito per la redazione della parte II del volume, nella quale si procede per l’esame critico, in una prospettiva dinamica ed interdimensionale, della natura teorica e pratica dell’interazione tra Stati (con particolare approfondimento al sistema Italia) ed Organizzazioni internazionali (Nazioni Unite, Unione Europea), società civile ed imprese che si traduce nella cooperazione internazionale dello sviluppo e nella declinazione delle modalità sia tecniche che finanziarie in cui si esplica.
Particolare attenzione è dedicata al sistema Nazioni Unite, ambito preferenziale nel quale il modello cooperativo è nato ed è stato progressivamente adattato alle esigenze manifestate dai donatori e dai beneficiari del processo cooperativo a partire dagli anni ’60, richiamando l’attenzione sull’esigenza di elaborare ed utilizzare indicatori strumentali per la conoscenza preventiva del sistema nel quale l’azione cooperativa viene poi ad essere condotta. E’ in questo stesso sistema che il modello è stato corretto in conseguenza della nuova visione globalizzata del processo di sviluppo, inducendo ad una riforma che si fonda sulla definizione di bisogni essenziali e sul correlato conseguimento di obiettivi prioritari, che hanno contraddistinto non senza difficoltà dal 2000 ad oggi il nuovo assetto della cooperazione multibilaterale dello sviluppo.The Author contributed to this volume for its second section, offering a critical, dynamic and inter-dimensional analysis of theoretic and practical aspects relating to the harmonization and co-ordination of intervention from States (recalling the Italian system) and International Organizations (United Nations, European Union), the civil society and the business in the field of development co-operation and related technical and financial mechanisms and assistance.
Specific attention has been devoted to the UN system, where the development co-operation model was built and progressively adapted to the needs from donors and partners since the ‘60s, calling for the elaboration and implementation of useful indicators to preventively awareness about the context in which the co-operation is implemented. Within the UN framework the model has been changed following the new global development perspective, requesting for a reform based on the definition of basic needs of partners and related definition and achievement of priority goals (i.e. the MDGs) as declared since 2000 and trying to be reached till now in the new multi-bilateral development co-operation framework

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
