SM-Viikko -tapahtuman yhteistyökumppanuksien kehittäminen
Full text linkTutkimuksen tehtävänä oli selvittää laadullisen menetelmän keinoin yhteistyölle merkityksellisiä elementtejä ja miten näitä voisi kehittää. Yhteistyötä tutkittiin kolmesta sponsoroinnin näkökulmasta, joita ovat brändi-imago/brändinäkyvyys, sponsorin ja sponsoroinnin kohteen välinen markkinointiviestintä ja tapahtumamarkkinointi. Tavoitteena oli löytää uu-sia keinoja kehittää olemassa olevia yhteistyökumppanuuksia ja löytää myyntityökaluja kumppanuushankintaan. Tutkimus toteutettiin toimeksiantona SM-Viikolle.
Sponsoroinnin kolmea elementtiä selvitettiin haastattelemalla kolmea eri SM-Viikon pitkä-aikaista yhteistyökumppania. Haastateltavat yhteistyökumppanit valikoituivat, koska tiedettiin, että he ovat olleet yhteistyökumppanina myös monessa muussa urheilutapahtumassa. Haastattelut suoritettiin yksilöhaastatteluina kasvotusten ja Teamsin avulla. Tutkimusaineisto muodostettiin litteroimalla haastatteluäänitteet ja analysoitiin teoriapohjaisen analyysin avulla.
Tulokset osoittivat, että brändinäkyvyys on sponsoroinnin tärkein tekijä, mutta brändin imagon muokkaaminen sponsoroinnin avulla on noussut tärkeäksi tekijäksi. Markkinointi-viestinnän näkökulmasta yritykset kokevat, että tapahtumassa paikan päällä näkyminen on edelleen tärkeää, mutta keinot voisivat olla luovempia kuin perinteinen laitamainonta. So-siaalisen median tuoman kohderyhmän koettiin tuovan lisäarvoa, mutta sitä ei ollut hyödynnetty.
Tärkeimpänä sponsoroinnin elementtinä koettiin brändi-imagon muokkaaminen olemalla mukana myös pienten lajien urheilutapahtumissa. Yritykset kokevat markkinointiviestinnän puutteen johtuvan resursseista. Tapahtumanjärjestäjän pitäisi pohtia, millaista sosiaalisen median sisältöä he voisivat tarjota sponsorille. Kumppanuusmyynnissä SM-Viikon pitäisi huomioida mukana olevat lajiliitot, seura ja järjestävä kaupunki

Full text linkAuthor also known as SM LovedayFresh bakery products have a very short shelf life, which limits the extent to which manufacturing can be centralised. Frozen doughs are relatively stable and can be manufactured in large volumes, distributed and baked on-demand at the point of sale or consumption. With appropriate formulation and processing a shelf life of several months can be achieved.Shelf life is limited by a decline in proofing rate after thawing, which is attributed to a) the dough losing its ability to retain gas and b) insufficient gas production, i.e. yeast activity. The loss of shelf life is accelerated by delays between mixing and freezing, which allow yeast cells the chance to ferment carbohydrates.This work examined the reasons for insufficient gas production after thawing frozen dough and the effect of pre-freezing fermentation on shelf life. Literature data on yeast metabolite dynamics in fermenting dough were incomplete. In particular there were few data on the accumulation of ethanol, a major fermentation end product which can be injurious to yeast.Doughs were prepared in a domestic breadmaker using compressed yeast from a local manufacturer and analysed for glucose, fructose, sucrose, maltose and ethanol. Gas production after thawing declined within 48 hours of frozen storage. This was accelerated by 30 or 90 minutes of fermentation at 30;C prior to freezing.Sucrose was rapidly hydrolysed and yeast consumed glucose in preference to fructose. Maltose was not consumed while other sugars remained. Ethanol, accumulated from consumption of glucose and fructose, was produced in approximately equal amounts to CO2, indicating that yeast cells metabolised reductively.Glucose uptake in fermenting dough followed simple hyperbolic kinetics and fructose uptake was competitively inhibited by glucose. Mathematical modelling indicated that diffusion of sugars and ethanol in dough occurred quickly enough to eliminate solute gradients brought about by yeast metabolism
Sm-Nd Isotope Data Compilation from Geoscientific Literature
No full textDerived from tables within geoscientific literature, we utilized our advanced automated tabular data collection tool to extract data from 3,959 geoscientific articles specifically focusing on Sm-Nd isotopes, out of an extensive repository of over 20,000 geoscientific publications. All the samples referenced are igneous rocks, and the data originates from peer-reviewed sources. To streamline the data extraction process, a team of experts curated a list of 25 pertinent keywords, encompassing terms such as Sm, 143 Nd/144 Nd, and Pluton/Formation. The file titled "Sm-Nd data collection (automated).xls" encapsulates the outcomes of the automated extraction, while "Sm-Nd data collection (annotation).xls" documents human annotations for 2,118 selected entries from the automated dataset, subjected to meticulous human evaluation. No full textAn elderly woman presented with anaemia, thrombocytopenia and multifocal lytic and sclerotic bone lesions. Trephine bone marrow biopsy demonstrated widespread involvement by systemic mastocytosis (SM). The neoplastic mast cells expressed mast cell tryptase, CD117, CD25 and CD9, and were accompanied by compact sheets of atypical large histiocytic cells, expressing CD68, CD4, S-100 protein and CD14, in keeping with a concomitant histiocytosis (SM-AHNMD). Mutation analysis revealed the activating point mutation D816V of the c-kit proto-oncogene in microdissected pooled bone marrow mast cells. Partial remission was achieved using interferon alpha. To the best of our knowledge this is the first reported case of SM-AHNMD with histiocytosis as the non-mast cell component
