No full textThe bachelor thesis The printing office and the villa of Alois Landfras in Jindřichův Hradec deals with built of printing office and villa with garden and it primarily examines its in artistic and historical terms. The first part of thesis deals with history of printing craft in Jindřichův Hradec, with builder Alois Landfras and with architect Josef Schaffer. In the next part of thesis the author deals with built of printing office, with question of dating its rebuilding, with reconstructions of object and it was constructed architectural description of house facade. The following chapters are focused on Landfras´s villa with garden. The interesting point is doubt of dating beginnig of villa´s building based on literature and charter of the villa. Author´s other interest was providing of garden complete description and describe its original form based on historical photos. Afterwards author points out earlier purpose of object because during Alois Landfras´s life villa with garden had primarily cultural meaning. Next chapter examines the relation between Alois Landfras as a builder and Josef Schaffer as an architect. In last part author deals with garden analysis in style element term and she tries to find inspiration or archetype of the architectural work

The first chapters of thesis deal with formation and development of landscape garden and romantick park in England, France, Germany and Czcech. Author approaches the inspiration sources two points of view. First she interested in inspiration based on Alois Landfras experience of landscape architecture. She deals with castles park in Chotoviny and Teplice, gardens near Jindřichův Hradec and in South Bohemia. After that she observes important garden in Germany and Vienna. She names the second significant inspiration source as garden literature in the form of semple books, magazines and handbooks. In conclusion she presents concrete works taht could provide Alois Landfras inspiration

No full textBakalářská práce s názvem "Mimořádné události ve vybrané obci" se zabývá problematikou mimořádných událostí v obci, které mohou nastat. Je rozdělená na dvě části, a to na teoretickou část a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní pojmy z oblasti ochrany obyvatelstva a krizového řízení. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu rizik pomocí softwarového nástroje Riskan, který dokáže vyhodnotit největší hrozby v obci. Poté nasimulovat únik nebezpečné látky z firmy TEIKO spol. s. r. o. pomocí softwarového nástroje TerEx. Na závěr bakalářské práce jsou vymezena preventivní opatření, které se nacházejí v jednotlivých částech firmy TEIKO spol. s. r. o.The Bachelor thesis called "Emergency Events in Selected Respective Community" deals with the issue of emergencies in the community which may occur. It is divided to the theoretical and to the practical part. Basic concepts from population protection and crisis management are described at the theoretical part. The practical part is focused on risk analysis using software tool Riskan, which helped me evaluate the biggest risks in the community. Then simulate the leakage of a hazardous substance from company TEIKO spol. s. r. o. using software tool TerEx. Proposal Update of the Flood Plan Town Napajedla
No full textDiplomová práce je zaměřena na aktualizaci povodňového plánu města Napajedla. V rámci teoretické části jsou objasněny hlavní pojmy z problematiky ochrany obyvatelstva před povodněmi, tedy náležitý právní rámec, povodně a jejich rozdělení i působnost krizového řízení. V části praktické jsou analyzovány, pomocí softwarového nástroje RISKAN, mimořádné události. Za pomocí SWOT analýzy je zhodnocen aktuální stav protipovodňových opatření ve městě a pomocí metody vícekriteriálního hodnocení variant jsou vybrány čtyři protipovodňové opatření. Výstupem diplomové práce je návrh na aktualizaci povodňového plánu ve městě Napajedla.The diploma thesis is focused on the update of the flood plan of the town of Napajedla. In the theoretical part, the main concepts from the issue of protection of the population against floods are explained, i.e. the proper legal framework, floods and their distribution and the scope of crisis management. In the practical part, emergency events are analysed using the RISKAN software tool. With the help of SWOT analysis, the current status of flood protection measures in the city is evaluated and four flood protection measures are selected using the multi-criteria variant evaluation method. The output of the thesis is a proposal for updating the flood plan in the town of Napajedla.Ústav krizového řízen
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Full text linkWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
