    Entropion is an in-rolling of the lid margin such that hairs rub against the cornea. Cases tipically present young, 4-12 months of age, and although sometimes unilateral the potential for both eyes to become affected is high. Signs of irritation are usually present. Pedegree dogs are most commonly affected and a wide variety of types of entropion is encountered depending on the anatomical weakness with each particular conformation. Infrequently entropion is secondary or acquired. In a lot of cases dorsal or medial trichiasis are associated. Diagnosis is based on clinical signs, history and breed. Surgical intervention is often indicated
