THE APPLICATION OF PRODUCT MARKETING STRATEGY USING AN ASSOCIATION RULE MINING APRIORI METHOD
No full textIn competition in the business world, it is necessary to find the right strategy that can be used in sales optimization. One strategy used in optimization is to determine the layout of the goods and keep the stock of goods available. Factors that influence the needs of market analysis is the level of frequency of consumers in buying an item. The number of transactions and data recording activities that still use the manual system, increasingly piling up only into expenditure and income records without any further processing. The method used in this analysis is the Apriori Algorithm which is commonly used in transaction data or commonly called Market Basket Analysis. Apriori algorithm is a type of association rule that can find a combination of items using two benchmarks, namely support and confidence. The concept of this association rule is to collect sales transaction data which will then be carried out by the mining process by determining the value of support and the value of trust. The results of this study can facilitate companies to increase sales turnover which refers to the results of processing sales transaction data using the Apriori Algorithm.
DEVELOPMENT OF ART PERFORMANCE TICKETS INFORMATION SYSTEM AT PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL

At present, most printed tickets allow misuse by irresponsible parties, but it also takes longer to get tickets. Therefore a solution is needed to purchase tickets with the website. In addition to making it easy for buyers and organizers, tickets will be accepted quickly. E-Ticketing is a way to document the sales process of a business activity without having to physically issue valuable documents or paper tickets. A website-based ticket art purchase application is needed to make purchasing process easier. The making of this application uses HTML as client-side development, PHP as server-side development, and MySQL as a database. With this application it is expected to help the organizers and buyers in making it easier to get tickets. In the testing phase this application starts from creating an account to getting a ticket going well. Then from the conclusions of the application made with this application, the buyer will get the convenience of getting tickets and buying tickets for events held at school by opening the website that has been provided

In order to make the deaf Moslem capable to recite and comprehend the messages from The Quran, so they need the Quran that has been translated into Sign Language. The purpose of this research is to introduce Hijaiyah Letter to deaf Moslems by using Augmented Reality Technology that can be operated by using Android Smartphone. The data collection methods carried out in this research were observation and interviews at Skh YKDW 02 Tangerang. Retrieval of research data using the experimental test application method. Experiments to obtain primary data in the form of test results based on predetermined parameters, namely light intensity, occlusion, and detection distance. In addition, library research was conducted to obtain secondary data that supports this research such as journals and books. This research refers to Luther-Sutopo's multimedia development method as a system model in building applications. The results of black box testing on the application to find out whether the software is made in accordance with the expected or not, can be concluded that testing the functionality of the buttons contained in the application runs as expected. And the assessment survey of this application shows 87% positive response from the respondents whic lead to the very good category. In conclusion, this application would be well accepted by the users.Selama ini, banyak penyandang tuna rungu muslim yang belum bisa membaca Al Quran. Hal ini dikarenakan minimnya media akses khusus bagi mereka untuk belajar membaca Al Quran. Supaya penyandang tuna rungu ini bisa membaca dan memahami pesan dalam Al Quran, maka dibutuhkan Al Quran yang diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa isyarat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan huruf hijaiyah dalam bahasa isyarat pada anak tuna rungu dengan menggunakan aplikasi berbasis teknologi Augmented Reality yang dapat dioperasikan menggunakan smartphone Android. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan di Sekolah Khusus (SKh) YKDW 02 Tangerang. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan metode percobaan uji aplikasi. Percobaan untuk memperoleh data primer berupa hasil pengujian berdasarkan parameter yang telah ditentukan yaitu intensitas cahaya, oklusi, dan jarak pendeteksian. Selain itu, dilakukan penelitian kepustakaan untuk memperoleh data sekunder yang mendukung penelitian seperti jurnal dan buku. Penelitian ini mengacu pada metode pengembangan multimedia versi Luther-Sutopo sebagai model sistem dalam membangun aplikasi. Hasil dari pengujian Black Box terhadap aplikasi guna mengetahui apakah software yang dibuat sesuai dengan yang diharapkan atau tidak, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengujian fungsionalitas terhadap tombol yang terdapat pada aplikasi berjalan sesuai harapan. Dan survei penilaian aplikasi ini menunjukkan 87% respon positif dari responden yang mengarah ke kategori sangat baik. Kesimpulannya, aplikasi ini akan diterima dengan baik oleh pengguna

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
