Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
On the Coherent Elastic Scattering of Polarized Leptons by Half-Integer Spin Nuclei
Abstract: In the framework of the Rarita–Schwinger formalism, a description is given of the wave functions, as well as the matrix elements of the electromagnetic and weak neutral currents of the nuclei of half-integer spin. Multipole decompositions of the matrix elements of these currents are constructed in the Breit reference frame. In the approximation of the effective electroweak current of the nucleus, the corresponding differential scattering cross sections of longitudinally polarized leptons are obtained. © 2020, Allerton Press, Inc
On double polarization asymmetries in the elastic electron-proton scattering
Double polarization asymmetry Dp (M) for the process of elastic electroweak scattering of the longitudinally polarized electrons by polarized proton target is considered with account of anapole G1p and electric dipole moment (EDM) G2p proton form factors. This asymmetry is only due to T-parity violating form factor G2p, but does not directly depend on it, and having a significant value, allows to confirm the existence of the EDM of the proton. © 2016, Allerton Press, Inc

On the scattering of a longitudinally polarized electron by a polarized proton target
Analytical expressions for different spin asymmetries of elastic scattering of the longitudinally polarized electrons by a polarized proton target are obtained taking into account violations of the P- and C-parity by anapole G1p, along with the P- and T-parity by electric dipole G2p proton form factors. Violation of P- and T-symmetries in polarized neutrino-proton elastic scattering
Analytical expressions are obtained and studied for the angular distributions of the recoil protons and spin asymmetries of elastic electroweak scattering of neutrinos on polarized/unpolarized proton targets with account of the C-, P- and T/CP-symmetries violating anapole and electric dipole moments, along with the neutral weak form factors of a proton and the neutrino charge radius and magnetic moment. © 2013 Allerton Press, Inc
Scattering of Polarized Electrons by Light Nuclei of Half-Integer Spin
A differential cross section is obtained for the scattering of longitudinally polarized electrons by polarized nuclei with spin 1/2, allowing for anapole and electric dipole moments, as along with form factors of the weak neutral current of a nucleus. Asymmetries of the differential cross section in the helicity of incident and scattered electrons are determined and analyzed: right–left asymmetry and the longitudinal polarization of scattered electrons, along with the corresponding double spin asymmetries. © 2018, Allerton Press, Inc
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
