El presente documento muestra el esquema paso a paso del proceso investigativo para el desarrollo del plan exportador de la compañía Todo Herrajes S A S.
El proceso de investigación para el desarrollo del trabajo está se divide en cuatro fases, que son las siguientes:
• Primera: contiene un diagnóstico de la internacionalización con el propósito de evidenciar las necesidades y la capacidad instalada de Todo Herrajes S A S. para realizar las exportaciones requeridas.
• Segunda: se hizo una preselección de mercados con el objetivo de poder buscar el más apropiado y que genere una ventaja competitiva para la empresa analizada al tener en cuenta las condiciones actuales del mercado.
• Tercera: se diagnosticó el producto en el mercado objetivo, para lo que se analizó y se comprobó que el producto que ofrece la compañía estudiada tiene ventajas competitivas y grandes beneficios para el mercado al que se propone ingresar.
• Cuarta: se diseñaron las estrategias y los planes de acción para poder obtener los resultados que espera Todo Herrajes S A S. en el mercado objetivo.
El proceso del desarrollo de las cuatro fases del plan exportador se llevó a cabo en compañía de la mencionada firma y la Universidad EAFIT.This document shows the step-by-step scheme of the investigative process for the development of the export plan of the Company Todo Herrajes S A S.
The research process for the development of the work is divided into four phases, which are the following:
• First: it contains a diagnosis of internationalization in order to demonstrate the needs and installed capacity of Todo Herrajes S A S. to carry out the required exports.
• Second: a pre-selection of markets was made in order to be able to search for the most appropriate one that generates a competitive advantage for the company analyzed by taking into account current market conditions.
• Third: the product was diagnosed in the target market, for which it was analyzed and found that the product offered by the studied company has competitive advantages and great benefits for the market it intends to enter.
• Fourth: strategies and action plans were designed to obtain the results that Todo Herrajes S A S. expects in the target market.

Hepatotrophic effects of FK506 in dogs
Portacaval shunt (Eck fistula) in dogs causes hepato- cyte atrophy and organelle disruption, as well as tripling of hepatocyte mitoses. After submitting dogs to this pro-cedure, FK506 was infused into the tied-off left portal vein. The size, anatomic quality, and replication of he- patocytes were enhanced in the portion of liver infused with FK506, with a significant spillover effect in the noninfused portion. These hepatotrophic qualities of FK506 may explain part of FK506’s efficacy for the treatment of chronic liver rejection. Also, the observa-tions support a trial with this drug for the treatment of autoimmune liver diseases because, in addition to turning off the immunologic genesis of such disorders, repair and regeneration of the damaged liver may be augmented. Finally, these hepatrophic qualities are part of an emerging spectrum of biologic effects caused by drugs that may modulate the enzyme cis-trans peptidyl-prolyl isomerase (PPIase), the principal constituent of the cy-tosolic binding sites of FK506, repamycin, cyclosporine, and presumably other immunosuppressive drugs as yet undiscovered.© 1991 by Williams & Wilkins
Assessment of 5-year experience with abdominal organ cluster transplantation
BACKGROUND: Upper abdominal exenteration (resection of the liver, stomach, spleen, pancreaticoduodenal complex, and part of the colon) for the treatment of otherwise unresectable tumors is one of the more radical operations in oncology. This study was done to analyze retrospectively a five-year experience with exenteration in 57 patients treated with variations of resectional and transplant reconstructive techniques. STUDY DESIGN: Sixty-one transplantations were performed upon 57 patients. Three different organ replacement techniques were used: liver-pancreas-duodenum en bloc (original procedure), liver only (modified procedure), and liver plus pancreatic islets. The diagnoses were cholangiocarcinoma (20 patients), hepatocellular carcinoma (12 patients), endocrine neoplasms (14 patients), sarcoma (six patients), and adenocarcinoma of the pancreas (two patients), colon (two patients), or gallbladder (one patient). Analyses of survival and tumor recurrence were stratified by procedure variations, type and extent of tumor, and immunosuppressive regimen. RESULTS: The three month and one, two, three, and five year actuarial patient survival rates were 82, 56, 38, 33, and 30 percent, respectively. Eighteen (31.5 percent) of the 57 patients are alive after 425 15 (standard deviation) months (range of 17 to 61 months) and 12 patients are tumor free. The actuarial survival rates stratified by transplantation procedure, immunosuppression, and tumor diagnosis and extent showed no statistically significant differences beyond the three different transplantation groups. Endocrine tumors had a better three-year survival rate (64 percent) than sarcoma (44 percent), hepatocellular carcinoma (25 percent), cholangiocarcinoma (20 percent), and the other adenocarcinomas (20 percent). Twenty-three patients (40 percent) died as a result of tumor recurrence. Patients with combined factors of no lymph node involvement, absence of vascular invasion, and metastases to the liver only (11 patients) had the lowest incidence of recurrence (27 compared to 73.5 percent, p=0.006). CONCLUSIONS: Patients with unresectable endocrine neoplasms, fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma, and selected cholangiocarcinoma confined to the liver can benefit from this radical operative approach. Optimización de losas de hormigón a través del método postensado adherente
Proyecto para optar al tÃtulo de constructor civilEn construcción existen diferentes métodos para realizar un mismo trabajo, aquà analizamos el caso especÃfico de losas de hormigón en dos metodologÃas distintas e igualmente efectivas, hormigón armado y hormigón postensado. Para esto debemos mencionar que en hormigón postensado, existen dos métodos utilizados en losas, método postensado no adherente, que no tiene contacto el tendón con el hormigón y el postensado adherente donde el tendón es inyectado con lechada de cemento, más aditivos y forman un conjunto con el resto del hormigón. Bajo la utilización de este método podemos lograr ganancias significativas, con el cual se puede optimizar hasta más de un 30% una planta con las mismas condiciones de constructivas, esta ganancia no solo se refleja en la cantidad de materiales a utilizar, que si bien es bastante inferior, para el caso del postensado frente al de hormigón armado, sino que también tendremos ganancias significativas, en tiempo de ejecución de las
diversas faenas y además en la reutilización de algunos de los elementos que se utilizan para poder ejecutar una obra de construcción, tales como moldajes, alzaprimas, etc. Para desarrollar dicha comparación, se ha evaluado en tres tipos de platas con las mismas caracterÃsticas salvo por la distancia entre apoyos (6, 8 y 10 m), con ésta sistema de comparación, se logra establecer las diferencias que se presentan en cada caso. También se pudo reflejar, que existen otras ventajas constructivas al utilizar este método, en este caso tenemos mejoras de diseño, como favorecer la instalación de redes y elementos bajo losas, ganancia de altura libre entre niveles y mejoras en la circulación al no estar limitados por grandes vigas, además por caracterÃstica propia de los elementos a los cuales se induce compresión, se disminuye considerablemente las fisuras superficiales
