    No full text
This paper presents the analysis of authorship pattern and collaborative measures of 5318 research publications of Anna University and indexed in Web of Science (WoS) database during the period of 2014. 2018. The analysis indicates that multi authored papers are dominated in the dataset and the average author per paper is 4.01. The collaborative measures consist of collaborative index, degree of collaboration, collaborative coefficient and moderate coefficient. Overall value of collaborative index (4.06), degree of collaboration (0.99), collaborative coefficient (0.67) and there is no change in the value of moderate coefficient. The distribution of author productivity of the research publications follows the Lotka\u27s law

The tradition of society is determined by the condition of the people living in that society. The Sangam Tamils gave a special place to their proud heroism in life. In the Tamil literary tradition, heroism has been taught as an important part of the people of the Sangam age. The hero feels sorry for the days when he was not physically hurt in the war as the days he spent in vain in his life. It was believed at that time that a warrior who dies on the battlefield will attain the heavens of valour. They planted Sepulchral Stones (Nadukal) in appreciation of his valour. The history of the Taller Sepulchral system gradually became shortened and became smaller and later became a big temple can also be traced back to history. The worship of the Shorter Sepulchral stone occupies a prominent place in the Purananooru. The worship of God arose during the time when man lived as a nomad. Man, worships God to get rid of the sufferings of his lifetime and to avoid trials in life. As such a God, the people of the Purananooru rea had a high tradition of worshipping the sepulchral stone as deities. The worship of the sepulchral stone also refers to the tradition of worshipping those who have fought courageously, those who have died facing the north when they were defeated in the war, the chaste women, and those who have performed great deeds. The name and merits of the deceased are inscribed on the stone and worshipped as a Deity. Even today this form of worship is prevalent among the Tamils. The worship of the sepulchral stone is also a symbol of gratitude. This article examines the evidence of the worship of such stones to courageous warriors in the Purananooru

The study examined the collaborative measures and authorship pattern of current science journal during 2014 to 2018. Data retrieved from Web of Science (WoS) bibliographical database. A total of 4298 publications appeared in current science journal during the study period. The aim of the study to illustrates various significant aspect of collaborative measures like collaborative index, degree of collaboration, collaborative coefficient, modified collaborative coefficient and authorship pattern. Relative growth rate and doubling time also analysed to find the growth of publications. Finding of the study states that 1440 (33.50%) papers contributed by single author, average value of collaborative index are 3.39, degree of collaboration was 0.90, overall collaborative coefficient was 0.78 and there is no change in the value of modified collaborative coefficient. It also concluded that relative growth rate decreased where doubling time increased during the study period. There is a strong positive correlation found between the publications and authors and between single author and multiple authors in current science journal

A Study on C-Exponential Mean Labeling of Graphs

    No full text
A function h is mentioned as a C-exponential mean labeling of a graph GV,E that has s vertices and r edges if h:VG⟶1,2,3,⋯,r+1 is injective and the generated function h∗:EG⟶2,3,4,⋯,r+1 defined by h∗ab=1/ehbhb/haha1/hb−ha, for all ab∈EG, is bijective. A graph which recognizes a C-exponential mean labeling is defined as C-exponential mean graph. In the following study, we have studied the exponential meanness of the path, the graph triangular tree of Tn, CmPn, cartesian product of two paths Pm▫Pn, one-sided step graph of STn, double-sided step graph of 2ST2n, one-sided arrow graph of Ars, double-sided arrow graph of DArs, and subdivision of ladder graph SLt
