Generally the image of the Prophet Muhammad (s. a. w) is not presented properly. In this article he is introduced in his universal position. He (s. a. w) is presented as the Prophet towards whole mankind. Hence, it is argued everyone should give full attention to understand his role in life of people irrespective of religion, ethnicity and time

Enhanced Forecasting Models: Implementation and Comparative Analysis of Sibylla 5.0 with Prophet and NeuralProphet Algorithms

    No full text
reservedIn the rapidly evolving domain of business analytics, the precision of forecasting models plays a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This thesis delves into the realm of advanced forecasting techniques by focusing on the Sibylla 5.0 model, a cutting-edge predictive analytics tool that harnesses machine learning to blend historical data series with significant business events. The model's primary aim is to refine the accuracy of sales forecasts at both aggregate and individual SKU levels, which is crucial for optimizing inventory management and enhancing customer satisfaction. The research presented in this thesis is twofold. Firstly, it undertakes the task of implementing the Sibylla 5.0 model within a real-world business context, exploring its effectiveness in improving SKU-level forecasting accuracy. The core of Sibylla 5.0's methodology lies in its integration of historical sales data with business realities such as promotions and seasonal trends, using these insights to inform and adjust its predictive algorithms continually. Secondly, this thesis introduces a comparative study of the Sibylla 5.0 model's performance when implemented through two different yet complementary time-series forecasting frameworks: Prophet and NeuralProphet. Prophet, a robust, open-source tool developed by Meta, offers a versatile approach to forecasting with its additive regression model capable of accommodating non-linear trends influenced by holidays and seasonality. NeuralProphet, an extension of the Prophet model, leverages neural networks to enhance predictive capabilities and computational efficiency. By integrating these frameworks, this research aims to not only assess their individual and combined effectiveness in enhancing the predictive accuracy of the Sibylla 5.0 model but also to identify optimal practices and potential challenges in their practical application. The comparative analysis will focus on metrics such as forecast accuracy, computational demands, and ease of integration with existing business systems. Through a meticulous methodology that includes data collection from historical shipments and predictive scenario testing, followed by a rigorous evaluation of the outcomes, this thesis aspires to contribute valuable insights into the field of predictive analytics. Ultimately, it seeks to demonstrate how sophisticated forecasting models like Sibylla 5.0, when enhanced by powerful tools like Prophet and NeuralProphet, can significantly advance the precision of business forecasting, thereby supporting strategic business decisions and promoting a more dynamic, responsive business environment.Through a meticulous methodology that includes data collection from historical shipments and predictive scenario testing, followed by a rigorous evaluation of the outcomes, this thesis aspires to contribute valuable insights into the field of predictive analytics. Liquid racism and the Danish Prophet Muhammad cartoons

This is the author's accepted manuscript. The final published article is available from the link below. Copyright @ 2010 The Author. This article examines reactions to the October 2005 publication of the Prophet Muhammad cartoons in the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten. It does so by using the concept of ‘liquid racism’. While the controversy arose because it is considered blasphemous by many Muslims to create images of the Prophet Muhammad, the article argues that the meaning of the cartoons is multidimensional, that their analysis is significantly more complex than most commentators acknowledge, and that this complexity can best be addressed via the concept of liquid racism. The article examines the liquidity of the cartoons in relation to four readings. These see the cartoons as: (1) a criticism of Islamic fundamentalism; (2) blasphemous images; (3) Islamophobic and racist; and (4) satire and a defence of freedom of speech. Finally, the relationship between postmodernity and the rise of fundamentalism is discussed because the cartoons, reactions to them, and Islamic fundamentalism, all contain an important postmodern dimension.ESR

A critical analysis of Christian responses to Islamic claims about the work of the Prophet Muhammad, ‘the Messenger of God’.

The aims of this study are to analyse critically the different Christian responses to the Islamic understanding of the work of Muhammad. Chapter one consists a short introduction leading to an appraisal of Muhammad which incorporates historical, hagiographal and Quranic source material, and in the light of relevant Christian and Muslim scholarship. The second chapter presents a summary critical analysis of Muhammad in Christian theological perspective, from 661 A.D. to modern times. Chapter three presents a critique of Christian responses to the Muslim allegations that the text of the Bible has been infected with corruption; and that Muhammad's advent and status are foretold in the unadulterated' scriptures, and in the Gospel of Barnabas. Chapter four examines the theological significance of the work of Muhammad for Christians. Thus, Jesus and Muhammad are critically assessed and contrasted in order to ascertain the importance, for Christians, of the Muslim claims in respect of Muhammad as ’the messenger of God’. Chapter five provides a critical evaluation of the various Christian responses to Muhammad. It is argued that many of the said responses have been entangled in myths and misperceptions which have severely distorted the true account of Muhammad's work. Consequently, many Christians have failed to appreciate the divine legitimacy of Muhammad's call to prophethood. Further, it is argued that Christians should accept that Muhammad is a genuine prophet, and the messenger of God. However, Muhammad's use of the power-structure in order to maintain Islam is in sharp contrast to Jesus’ decision to face the consequences of his ministry passively through faith in God. Accordingly, orthodox Christian belief in the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus provides another dimension to prophethood, where the messenger and the message become one, an identification which finds no parallel in Islam, and which, in the nature of the case, cannot find a parallel

TibbOnto: Knowledge Representation of Prophet Medicine (Tibb Al-Nabawi)

    No full text
AbstractThe Quran and Hadith are the two fundamental sources of Islamic legislation. Hadith are narrations passed from Prophet companions regarding the words and deeds of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Hadith books contain topics related to all aspects of Muslim life. In this paper, we build a domain-specific ontology (Tibb Al-Nabawi ontology) to present the Prophet's medicine in a semantic ontological representation. Our source of knowledge is based on an authentic Tibb Al-Nabawi Hadith. We have identified the main classes and the relationship among them. The proposed ontology can be extended in the future to automatically generate treatments for specific diseases according to the Prophet's actions
