Nonlinear control of the Chua´s oscillator
In this work we deal with the design of stabilization and tracking nonlinear controllers for chaotic Chua´s oscillator drive by a control input. We prove that the controlled Chau´s oscillator is input-state and input-output feedback linearizable. We also solve the model-matching problem tanking as the plant the controlled Chau´s oscillator in chaotic regime and as the reference model another Chau´s oscillator (autonomous) in several steady states. The controllers robustness is investigated when there exists some uncertainty in the plants. We show that the feedback linearizable controllers for Chau´s oscillator exhibit good performance in stabilization and slow-dynamics trajectory tracking tasks. Besides we prove that the controller-plant set is able to produce the dynamics of the reference model in the model-matching problem

Putting Pressure Under Pressure: On the Status of Classical Pressure in Special Relativity
Much of the century-old debate surrounding the status of thermodynamics in relativity has centered on the search for a suitably relativistic temperature; recent works by Chua (2023) and Chua and Callender (forthcoming) have suggested that the classical temperature concept – consilient as it is in classical settings – ‘falls apart’ in relativity. However, these discussions typically assume an unproblematic Lorentz transformation for – specifically, the Lorentz invariance of – the pressure concept. Here I argue that, just like the classical temperature, the classical concept of pressure breaks down in relativistic settings. I discuss how this might suggest a new thermodynamic limit – a u → 0 limit – without which an unambiguous thermodynamic

DISEÑO DE OSCILADORES CAÓTICOS DE CHUA EN MATLAB, MULTISIM Y DSP-BUILDER (DESIGN OF A CHAOTIC OSCILLATORS OF CHUA IN MATLAB, MULTISIM AND DSP-BUILDER)
Bien! A Festschrift is a feast of words and ideas that pays tribute to one of the most formidable, provocative, and important intellectuals in the Philippines and the field of Philippine Studies: Bienvenido L. Lumbera, National Artist for Literature of the Philippines. The book (in three volumes) presents reflections and commentaries on the great nationalist scholar and his lifework on literature, culture, literacy, and politics. This compendium also provides a selection of critical and creative work that honors the wide range of Lumbera’s interests and achievements.
The contributors in this volume include Reuel M. Aguila, Delia D. Aguilar, Alwin C. Aguirre, Virgilio S. Almario, Merlie Alunan, Mesándel Virtusio Arguelles, Genevieve L. SÍNTESIS DE REDES NO LINEALES: EL OSCILADOR DE CHUA.
In this paper, we present a method for synthesizing nonlinear circuits with
arbitrarily prescribed dynamics, which are given by differential equations. We
choose an analog circuit design: Chuas oscillator. That is, we realize the
differential equations by using linear and nonlinear analog elements, which are
commercially available.
lineales y no lineales, disponibles comercialmente
MCFR'22: 1st Workshop on Multimedia Computing towards Fashion Recommendation
With the proliferation of online shopping, fashion recommendation, which aims to provide suitable suggestions to support the consumer's purchase in e-commerce platforms, has gained increasing research attention from both academia and industry. Although existing efforts have achieved great progress, they focus on the visual modality, lacking the exploration of other modalities of items, e.g., the textual descriptions and attributes of items. Accordingly, this workshop targets calling for a coordinated effort to promote the multimedia computing towards fashion recommendation. This workshop will showcase the innovative methodologies and ideas on new yet challenging research problems, including (not limited to) fashion recommendation, interactive fashion recommendation, interactive garment retrieval, and outfit compatibility modeling
