An Identity Based Mutual Authentication with Key Agreement
Now days mobile networks are rapid development by performing the e commerce transaction such as online shopping, internet banking and e payment. So that to provide secure communication, authentication and key agreement is important issue in the mobile networks. Hence, schemes for authentication and key agreement have been studied widely. So that to provide efficient and more secure techniques is necessary. In this paper we are proposed random prime order key agreement protocol proposed for authentication and key agreement. Another technique is used to provide security of transferred data using key xor data transpose technique. By using this technique, we provide more security and more efficiency for transferring data. AKTIVITAS IMUNOMODULATOR POLISAKARIDA DARI BUAH OKRA (Abelmoschus esculentus) TERHADAP AKTIVITAS FAGOSITOSIS,KADAR TNF-α, PROLIFERASI SPLENOSIT, DAN INDEKS LIMPA Mus musculus SETELAH PAPARAN Staphylococcus aureus
Polisakarida okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) berpotensi sebagai calon
nutraceutical dengan aktivitas imunomodulator. Namun, hanya sedikit studi yang
melaporkan aktivitas imunomodulator okra untuk mencegah penyakit yang
disebabkan oleh bakteri khususnya Staphylococcus aureus. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pemberian polisakarida okra terhadap
aktivitas fagositosis, kadar TNF-α, proliferasi splenosit dan indeks limpa pada
mencit yang dipapar S. aureus dan mekanisme polisakarida dalam memodulasi
komponen tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan 30 mencit (Mus musculus) jantan
dewasa strain Balb/C berumur 8 -10 minggu. Mencit dikelompokkan menjadi 6
kelompok yaitu K sebagai kontrol, K- sebagai kontrol negatif, P1 dengan dosis
polisakarida 25 mg/kg BB, P2 dengan dosis polisakarida 50 mg/kg BB, P3 dengan
dosis polisakarida 75 mg/kg BB dan P4 dengan dosis polisakarida 100 mg/kg BB.
Polisakarida okra diberikan secara gavage selama 14 hari dan S. aureus (0,5
Mc.Farland) dipaparkan secara intraperitoneal pada hari ke-15. Data persentase
aktivitas fagositosis, kadar TNF-α, persentase proliferasi splenosit dan indeks
limpa kemudian dianalisis secara statistik pada α = 0,05. Hasil menunjukkan
bahwa pemberian polisakarida okra dengan dosis 75 mg/kg BB dan 100 mg/kg
BB meningkatkan aktivitas fagositosis dan proliferasi splenosit secara signifikan.
Indeks limpa meningkat secara signifikan dengan pemberian polisakarida okra
dengan dosis 50, 75 dan 100 mg/kg BB sedangkan pemberian polisakarida okra
dengan dosis 25, 50, dan 100 mg/kg BB meningkatkan kadar TNF-α secara
signifikan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dosis pemberian polisakarida
okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas fagositosis, kadar
TNF-α, proliferasi splenosit dan indeks limpa pada Mus musculus yang dipapar S.
aurues. Mekanisme polisakarida okra dalam memodulasi sistem imun adalah
mempengaruhi aktivitas fagositosis makrofag, sekresi TNF-α melalui aktivasi
limfosit T dan proliferasi splenosit
Matilda: A Distributed UML Virtual Machine for Model-Driven Software Development
This paper describes a distributed UML virtual machine, called Matilda, which allows developers to design their applications as UML models and directly execute the models. Matilda accepts the UML models that developers define (class and sequence diagrams), validates them against the UML metamodel, constructs a Java abstract syntax tree (JAST) that corresponds to the user-defined models, and executes Java byte code generated from the JAST. The architecture of Matilda is designed as a pipeline (or sequence) of plugins. Different plugins implement different functionalities in Matilda, such as importing UML models, validating UML models and constructing a JAST. The pipeline architecture allows Matilda to flexibly configure its structure and behavior by replacing a plugin with another one or changing the order of plugins. Also, Matilda's pipeline can be distributed. Matilda can spread plugins over multiple hosts in the network and seamlessly connect them to form a pipeline. This improves Matilda's performance by distributing its workload to different hosts. It also enables distributed model-driven development in which developers can build, transform, deploy and execute UML models at physically distributed places. This paper overviews Matilda's architectural design and describes implementation details of its major plugins
A Cadaveric Study on Radial Nerve Risk Zone in the Distal Part of the Arm
Introduction:
Injury to the radial nerve in the arm is very frequent following fractures of the shaft of the humerus and may also occur during surgery on the arm. These iatrogenic injuries can be prevented by predicting the point at which the nerve penetrates the lateral intermuscular septum during its course from the posterior-to-anterior compartment of the arm.
Aims and Objectives:
Our study aims to find out the point of penetration of the radial nerve in the lateral intermuscular septum (radial nerve risk zone [RNRZ]).
Materials and Methods:
The study was conducted on 30 upper limbs of adult formalin-embalmed cadavers during MBBS undergraduate dissection at the department of anatomy. The posterior aspect of the arm was dissected to expose the radial nerve, and measurements of parameters were recorded.
Results:
The mean humeral length was 29.91 ± 2.66 cm. The mean distance from the lateral epicondyle of the humerus to the point on the lateral intermuscular septum where radial nerve pierces during its course from posterior-to-anterior compartment was 11.42 ± 1.042 cm, r = 0.368, and P < 0.05 which was statistically significant. The mean (standard deviation) humeral length of both left and right side difference was statistically significant with P = 0.009 (P < 0.05).
Conclusion:
We believe that our study will help orthopedic surgeons to estimate the point of penetration of radial nerve into the lateral intermuscular septum which is the RNRZ. This minimizes the risk of radial nerve damage during the fixation of the fractured shaft of the humerus
A Stability Indicating UPLC Method for Determination of Temozolomide and its Related Substances in Bulk and Finished Dosage Forms
DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF A STABILITY INDICATING HPLC METHOD FOR THE DETERMINATION OF NILOTINIB HYDROCHLORIDE IN BULK AND PHARMACEUTICAL DOSAGE FORM
Objective: To develop a rapid, accurate, linear, sensitive and stability indicating RP-HPLC method for the determination of nilotinib in bulk and pharmaceutical dosage forms in the presence of its four related substances.Methods: The RP-HPLC method was developed for the chromatographic separation of nilotinib and its impurities by using waters Xterra RP-18 (150*4.6 mm, 3.5 µm) column with a mobile phase combination of 10 mM ammonium formate with pH-3.5 and acetonitrile in gradient mode. An injection volume of 20 µl. Flow rate was 1.0 ml/min and detection was carried a wavelength of 250 nm. The method was validated as per ICH guidelines.Results: The retention time for nilotinib and its four impurities were found to be 4.37, 7.40, 8.96, 10.21 and 10.87 min respectively. The linear regression analysis data for the calibration plots showed the good linear relationship in the concentration range of 0.04-3.0 ppm for the nilotinib impurities. The % recovery of nilotinib impurities was found to be 96.8-99.4% in the linearity range. The detection limit (LOD) values were about 0.014, 0.016, 0.005 and 0.03 ppm respectively and the quantification limit (LOQ) values were 0.042, 0.048, 0.014 and 0.09 ppm respectively. The % degradation at various stress conditions like acid, alkaline, oxidative, thermal and photolytic stress was found to be 8.92, 18.35,5.63, 0.88 and 3.89 respectively.Conclusion: The RP-HPLC method compatible with LC-MS was developed for the analysis of nilotinib and its four impurities. It was validated as per the ICH guidelines and found to be linear, robust, precise, accurate, sensitive, stability indicating and can be used for routine as well as stability analysis of capsule dosage forms as well as for drug substance
When a helpful bias is unhelpful: Limitations in reasoning about random and deliberately misleading evidence
Social information aids learning: by making assumptions about other people's knowledge and intentions, people can draw strong and accurate inferences from limited data. In this study, we systematically tested people's ability to reason from information providers with different intentions. The task was an adaptation of Shafto et al (2014)'s rectangle game, where learners guessed a rectangle’s size and location based on provided clues. We examined reasoning based on information from four types of providers: a helpful provider, a provider who sampled randomly, and two misleading providers (who could mislead but not lie). We also varied whether people were given a cover story describing the provider in advance, or whether they could infer how helpful a provider was based on what the provider shared. Participants learned efficiently from helpful providers, aligning closely with the predictions of a normative Bayesian model, even without a cover story. However, while people usually recognized unhelpful providers, they struggled to identify and respond appropriately to misleading strategies. Overall, our results suggest a helpful bias: in our task, participants assumed helpful intent unless given explicit feedback, and even then, they did not fully adjust in line with Bayesian predictions. People also struggled to overcome this bias when learning from randomly sampled information, especially when they had experience being an information provider themselves (Experiment 3)
Influence of Polysaccharide Krestin from Coriolus versicolor Extract on Nitrite and Malondialdehyde Concencentrations of Mus musculus Serum Exposed by Mycobacterium tuberculosis
Mycobacterium tuberculosis is a major infection agent of tuberculosis that is controlled by the response of cell-mediated immunity. It is macrophages and cytolytic T lymphocytes. Activated macrophages will produce free radicals. Excessive free radicals cause tissue damage. Polysaccharide krestin contains β-glucan. It is a scavenger of free radicals. This research aimed to identify the influence of polysaccharide krestin from C. versicolor on nitrite and malondialdehyde concentrations of mice serum exposed by M. tuberculosis. Nitrite concentration was determined by nitrite assay. Malondialdehyde concentration was determined by TBARS assay. The result showed that adding polysaccharide krestin before exposure (P1) and adding polysaccharide krestin before-after exposure (P3) had the best potential to decrease nitrite concentration. Nitrite concentrations of P1 and P3 were 1.364 ± 0.523 M and 1.456 ± 0.712 M respectively. Meanwhile, P1 group and adding polysaccharide krestin after exposure (P2) had the best potential to decrease malondialdehyde concentration. Malondialdehyde concentrations of P1 and P2 were 1125.86 ± 97.96 µM and 953.86 ± 328.16 µM respectively. Their nitrite and malondialdehyde concentrations decreased, compared to K and K- groups.
