delle Facoltà di Economia e di Agraria dell'Università degli Studi di Foggia finanziata
dalla Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Puglia. L'oggetto di studio è
il miglioramento dei processi di produzione nel settore olivicolo –oleario.Viene
così esposta l'attività di ricerca condotta in campo agronomico, finalizzata alla
salvaguardia della fertilità del terreno, per l'ottenimento di prodotti di qualità
più elevata, sia dal punto di vista nutrizionale sia da quello organolettico. È
analizzata l'innovazione tecnologica del processo di estrazione dell'olio
extra vergine d'oliva, con particolare attenzione alle problematiche legate alla
gestione dei sottoprodotti di lavorazione, dei rifiuti e dei reflui. Fra gli strumenti
volontari di comunicazione ambientale ci si sofferma sull'Environmental
Product Declaration (EPD), così come definita nell'ambito delle regole generali
dell'EPD Programme messo a punto dall'International EPD® System. Infine,
in merito all'applicazione della metodologia dell'analisi del ciclo di vita
(Life Cycle Assessment, LCA), fondamento dell'International EPD® System, nel
settore della produzione dell'olio extravergine di oliva, viene esposto un caso
studio aziendale sulla filiera dell'olio extravergine di oliva denocciolato

La filiera dell’olio extravergine di oliva in provincia di Foggia
No full textQuesto studio si pone l’obiettivo di analizzare la filiera dell’olio extravergine d’oliva nella provincia di Foggia. Attraverso la somministrazione di questionari si è indagato sugli aspetti peculiari sia della fase di produzione delle olive, sia della loro trasformazione in olio. I dati raccolti sono stati elaborati distinguendo le risposte per le tre diverse sottozone pedoclimatiche che caratterizzano la provincia di Foggia (Gargano, Subappennino, Tavoliere). Dall’analisi statistica si è potuto estrapolare, per le diverse sottozone, una serie di informazioni sulle caratteristiche produttive delle aziende olivicole ed olearie, evidenziandone i relativi punti di forza e di debolezza
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Best Environmental Practices in Agricultural Sector: Comparative LCA Study of Italian and Polish Wheat Cultivation
No full textAccording to FAO’s forecasts, the world consumption and production of cereals are projected to increase by almost 2.89 billion tonnes by 2030.
The International Grains Council foresees a drawdown of global grains stocks, with further declines expected in the years to 2023/24 [International Grains Council 2019].
Wheat is grown on over 200 million ha in the world, by covering around the 15% of the global arable land [FAO 2015]. Figure 1 shows the geographical distribution of the wheat cultivation area in the world, by considering average FAOSTAT data from 2010 to 2014 [FAOSTAT 2019]. Poland and Italy belong to the group of the biggest wheat producers in Europe. For both economies, wheat production is important in a sense of economic advantage but also as environmental burden. The objective of the study is to compare wheat cultivation practices in Poland and in Italy with reference to its environmental impact. The objective would be achieved through life cycle comparative assessment of wheat production in Poland and in Italy with the use of product environmental footprint approach
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
