This creative/critical hybrid thesis focuses on the relationship between the pathology and lived experiences of panic, Panic Disorder, and other mental illnesses. In addition, it will show how Panic is embodied and how this embodiment is gendered, classed, and raced. Through a collection of critical analysis, poetry, prose, and personal journal entries from the author (which will be treated as primary documents), this thesis aims to make accessible an intimate look at Panic as a queer phenomenon
