Tipología de conflictos escolares, según estudio comparado en Bogotá, Cali y Medellín, escrita por Luz Dary Ruiz Botero, es una obra extensa, en la que se muestran las condiciones sociales e históricas que explican la emergencia de cierto tipo de conflictos en las instituciones educativas. El estudio se ocupa de develar las relaciones existentes entre la escuela y el contexto económico, social, político y cultural que determina a los sectores populares de las ciudades que sirven como base de comparación. El
propósito esencial del trabajo es el de configurar tipologias de conflictos escolares en la relación escuela-contexto y definir estrategias de intervención mediante la identificación del lugar de los jóvenes estudiantes en esas tipologias.Presentación.

No full textEl proyecto tiene como fin mostrar la importancia de los proyectos de emprendimiento social en
las regiones, ya que contribuyen a la reducción de las problemáticas que se presentan en los
territorios, un ejemplo de emprendimiento social es el de estos proyectos que se presenta en
victoria caldas en donde la problemática es la falta de empleo digno en el municipio de Victoria
Caldas para esto se realiza un análisis de posibles soluciones a la problemática y se plantean
propuestas de innovación social que contribuya a problemáticas que derivan de la presente,
también se presenta mediante un modelo de negocio Desing thinking, herramientas como contar un
cuento, infografías de los productos innovados con las que están fabricadas las viviendas que
ofrece el proyecto, también se presenta mediante la herramienta infografía la percepción y
captación de personas en los proyectos con innovación, de igual manera se plantean maquetas
con los diseños de las viviendas que ofrece el proyecto.
En la estrategia del marketing para el proyecto en donde se muestra el slogan del proyecto,
grupos a los quiere llegar el proyecto, un análisis de la competencia del proyecto, las estrategias
de mercado tradicional y digital para promocionar los productos que ofrece el proyecto, también
se establecen prototipos a manejar en cada una de las redes sociales, también se establece una
página web en donde se visualiza de una mejor manera los proyectos realizados y los diseños
de los que se están efectuando.
En la proyección operativa y financiera del proyecto es de suma importancia realizar un análisis
y establecer valores en los recursos operativos y financieros en donde se tendrán en cuenta los
gastos de la mano de obra y obligaciones con los empleados, inversiones sociales del proyecto y
tamaño del proyecto.The project aims to show the importance of social entrepreneurship projects in the regions, as

procesos de retorno relatados por Flor María Hoyos, María Consuelo Parra y Carmen
Giraldo habitantes del Municipio de Granada, Departamento de Antioquia, de las Veredas
Los Medios, El Roble y La Quiebra respectivamente.
En este sentido, se dará a conocer una breve contextualización sobre el fenómeno del
desplazamiento y las causas del mismo en las tres mujeres, así como los motivos que ellas
tuvieron para retornar y las consecuencias de ambos procesos en sus vidas cotidianas; para
luego evidenciar cómo ha sido la apropiación del territorio teniendo en cuenta tanto los
usos del suelo y los espacios, como las relaciones interpersonales y familiares que exponen

Five years after HL Tau: The First Hydrostatic Core!
No full textIt is theoretically predicted that in between a starless core and a protostar, i.e. before the beginning of the Class 0 phase, a collapsing molecular core initially forms a central hydrostatic object known as the First Hydrostatic Core (FHSC). Several theoretical studies have investigated the physical properties of these FHSCs, however, this very short evolutionary stage has been highly elusive and challenging to prove observationally. As a matter of fact, many candidate FHSCs have been identified, but none have been definitively confirmed as such. Therefore, detecting observationally these objects is of central importance in studies of the earliest phases of low-mass star formation. Since more than 50 years ago (Larson 1969), astronomers have been pursuing an observational verification of the FHSCs, which would provide a laboratory for probing and understanding the earliest stellar stages and the formation of their associated protoplanetary disks, currently poorly constrained. Here, we present the robust detection of a FHSC, the first of its kind, by using the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA). Based on a kinematic modeling of the spherical rotating collapse phase, we estimate the characteristic physical properties of the object (central mass and accretion rate), which match those predicted for FHSCs
Studying young stellar objects with near-IR non-redundant aperture masking and millimeter interferometry
No full textCircumstellar disks and outflows play a central role in the
growth of low-mass
(M < 2 M_sun) stars and the formation of planetary systems. These
disks are
ubiquitous at young ages (< 1 Myr), as they are naturally formed
during the
gravitational collapse of protostellar cores due to the
conservation of angular
momentum. Circumstellar disks feed the forming stars and provide
an environment
for small grains to eventually grow into rocky planets and the
cores of
giant planets at a wide range of stellocentric distances (
~0.1-100 au). In parallel
to the growth solids in the disk, bipolar outflows and winds are
generated
on similar physical scales. Outflows carry angular momentum away
and help
the accretion of circumstellar material onto the central object.
They also play
an important role in the dissipation of the envelope that marks
the transition
from the Class I (a deeply embedded protostar) to Class II stage
(an optically
visible T Tauri star). Eventually, the primordial disk disperses,
leaving a
star surrounded by a remnant debris (Class III) object and likely
a system of
planetesimals and planets.
This thesis incorporates high-sensitivity millimeter-wavelength
interferometry
and near-infrared Non-Redundant Mask (NRM) Interferometry to
assess molecular
outflow and disks properties in Class I-II objects. It explores
the physical
mechanisms dispersing the disk and envelope system (e.g.,
outflows and dynamical
interactions in binary systems) and the properties of
protoplanetary
disks as a function of stellar mass at an age of 2-3 Myr.
We investigate the properties of the Class I molecular outflows
present in HBC
494 and V883 Ori, two young stellar objects experiencing episodic
events of
extreme accretion known as FU Ori outbursts. These outflows help
to disperse
the surrounding envelope at very early stages while removing
angular momentum
from the disk. We estimate the kinematic properties and describe
physical
structures of the outflows using the 12CO and 13CO emissions
lines. Similarly,
the C18O emission line is used to describe envelope material from
both sources.
An outstanding result is the wide-opening angle of the outflow
cavities of ~150 deg. for both sources. Outflows masses in both
FUors are on the same order of magnitude, while V883 Ori shows an
outflow component that is much slower (characteristic velocity of
only 0.65 km s^-1) than seen in other FUors such as
HBC 494. To date, interferometric studies of FUors are scarce and
more observations
needed in order to compare with other objects at a similar
sensitivity
and resolution.
In addition, using NRM, we searched for binary companions to
objects previously
classified as Transitional Disks (TD, disks with inner opacity
holes)
in nearby (d < 300 pc) star-forming regions (Ophiuchus,
Taurus-Auriga, and
IC348) and investigate the interaction with (sub)stellar
companions as a possible
mechanism for the depletion of their inner disks. We implement a
new
method of completeness correction using a combination of randomly
sampled
binary orbits and Bayesian inference. We find that ~ 0.38 +/-
0.09 of the TDs
are actually circumbinary disks, while the remaining objects are
transitional
disks where the inner holes are the result of other internal
processes such as
photoevaporation, and/or planet-disk interactions.
Finally, we present an ALMA 1.3 mm survey of Class II sources in
the benchmark 2-3 Myr stellar cluster IC 348 to investigate the
properties of disks at the time 50% of the disks have already
been completely dispersed. We find that the detection rate in 1.3
mm continuum is a strong function of stellar mass. Most
targets with masses 0.3 < M_sun remain undetected down to a
3-sigma sensitivity of
0.45 mJy, corresponding to a disk dust mass of ~0.9 M_earth. A
stacking analysis
of the non-detections suggests that the typical dust mass around
most 2-3 Myr
old M-type stars is 0.2 M_earth (or 0.07 M_JUP of gas + dust,
assuming a standard
gas to dust mass ratio of 100). A Bayesian analysis is used to
statistically compare
IC 348 to other star-forming regions. As a general result, this
analysis
shows that IC 348 disks are a factor of 5 fainter on average than
in Taurus,
Cha I, and Lupus. While IC 348 and sigma Ori have similar
distributions. On the
other hand, Upper Sco disks are definitely fainter on average
than IC 348. The
resulting cumulative distribution functions confirm a clear
evolution (depletion
of mm-sized grains) of the circumstellar disks in these regions
over a period of
1-10 Myr

No full textThe cover of True Tales of the Prairies and Plains notes that author David Dary is a past winner of the Cowboy Hall of Fame Award and the Western Writers of America Spur Award. One must assume that his previous books made better contributions to the scholarship of the American West than does this one. Fine for a casual reader or one interested in entertaining vignettes about the West, this work has little to offer the serious scholar.
The book is broken into several sections with such titles as Over the Trails and Rails, Buried Treasure Legends (so much for True Tales), The Lawless, Lawmen, and Justice, Buffalo, Horses, and Other Creatures, and The Famous and the Obscure. Within each section are a number of relevant short entries. Geographically, Dary presents stories from throughout the Great Plains. Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, the Dakotas, Nebraska, and other Plains states receive much attention. Two of the strongest entries come from the Famous and the Obscure section, and both concern future presidents and their lives on the Plains. The story of young Dwight D. Eisenhower\u27s solicitation of an appointment to West Point or Annapolis is recounted in Two Letters from Abilene. (Interestingly, Eisenhower hoped for the Naval Academy but had to settle for West Point because he was too old for Annapolis.) The Badlands Rancher Who Became President explores Theodore Roosevelt\u27s ranching experiences in North Dakota in the 1880s

No full textLa población de jóvenes en Colombia, tiene problemas de exclusión, falta de oportunidades, reproducción de la pobreza, padecen altos índices de muertes violentas en los jóvenes y estas condiciones provocan mayor inestabilidad de vida, muchos de ellos están marginados de la ciencia y la tecnología, de las posibilidades de trabajo, la participación política, la recreación y las posibilidades de expresión, lo cual conlleva al círculo de ilegalidad: grupos armados (guerrilla, paramilitares, delincuencia común), redes del narcotráfico y contrabando, etc.
Según fuentes estadísticas (Tovar Rodriguez & Baena Lopez, 2008)1 en la capital, hay aproximadamente 1.547.614 jóvenes entre las edades de 14 y 26 años, que representa el 23% de los siete millones de habitantes que tiene Bogotá.
Los principales estudios de condiciones socioeconómicas de este sector poblacional, dan a conocer que aproximadamente se encuentran 407.000 jóvenes (27%) en situación de pobreza, mientras que en condición de miseria lo están unos 248.000 jóvenes (16%) y un 57% se clasifica como "No Pobre”.
Sin embargo, los asuntos de juventud han logrado entrar aún en las agendas públicas. El gran desafío es tomar conciencia del protagonismo de los jóvenes y potenciar la visión de y sobre los jóvenes como "sujetos de derechos", para el

ejercicio pleno de la ciudadanía y el establecimiento de garantías sociales e institucionales, el respeto y cumplimiento de sus derechos fundamentales.
A partir de esto, en la Ciudad de Bogotá se desarrolla diferentes programas de políticas públicas como: Política públicas de infancia y adolescencia, política de juventud, política de familias, política pública mujer y género, política de seguridad alimentaria, política pública de discapacidad, política de afro descendientes, política de ruralidad y políticas públicas de adultez (Social, 2006)2.
En el 2006 se aprueba la política pública de Juventud donde este programa se desarrolla en la ciudad de Bogotá, su finalidad es la protección, promoción y ejercicio efectivo progresivo y sostenible de derechos de los jóvenes, en el cual pretende promover la articulación en el ámbito educativo formal para el trabajo, desarrollo humano que les facilite el ingreso laboral y mejorar las condiciones y tener una vida digna (Garzon, 2006)3
