Interview with Roy V. Harris
Between December 10, 1982 and October 7, 1983 seventeen audio cassette tapes of interviews were conducted between members of the School of Law community by Gwen Wood and Erwin Surrency. The result was a large oral histories project. The fifth interview that took place in the series was this recording made by Gwen Wood interviewing Roy V. Harris on December 20, 1982. A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Chairman, Committee on Americanism, Parramore Post No. 57, American Legion, Abilene, Texas, from Le Roy V. Greene, Assistant Secretary to the Governor, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, dated December 8, 1941. Greene acknowledges receipt of the letter from Carswell advising that he is bringing it to the attention of the Governor and "meanwhile" sends a copy of a quotation by the Governor regarding Americanism.
