No full textUn corpus di italiano scritto - CORIS/CODIS - è stato realizzato presso l'Università di Bologna ed è disponibile online da alcuni anni.
Il progetto, elaborato e coordinato da R. Rossini Favretti, ha la finalità di costruire un corpus generale di riferimento dell'italiano scritto, ben dimensionato e rappresentativo, accessibile e di facile fruizione.
Il CORIS contiene ad oggi (2008) 120 milioni di parole e viene aggiornato tramite un corpus di monitoraggio inglobato con cadenza triennale. E' costituito da una raccolta di testi, autentici e ricorrenti nell'uso, in formato elettronico, selezionati come rappresentativi dell'italiano attuale.
Il progetto, al momento attuale, è il risultato di una ricerca svolta nell'ambito del'Università di Bologna. Ciò è stato reso possibile dallo sviluppo tecnologico, dal possibile riferimento ad esperienze precedenti e dal lungo periodo di preparazione che ha preceduto la fase progettuale e costitutiva.
Prevede come destinatari e fruitori un ampio numero di persone che si collocano dagli studiosi dell'italiano come L1 o L2, agli studenti italiani e stranieri impegnati in un'analisi linguistica basata su dati autentici e, in una prospettiva più ampia, a tutti coloro che sono interessati ad un'analisi intralinguistica e/o interlinguistica.
CODIS rappresenta una nuova articolazione di CORIS e permette una rimodulazione dinamica dei componenti testuali costitutivi del corpus in modo da poterlo adattare ad ogni necessità di comparazione interlinguistica.
Il corpus e' liberamente accessibile in rete per scopi di ricerca, e, ad oggi, circa 200 studiosi italiani e stranieri utilizzano CORIS/CODIS nelle loro ricerche come fonte primaria di dati empirici sulla lingua italiana.
CORIS/CODIS è il risultato di uno studio condotto dagli autori negli ultimi anni. I risultati sono già stati presentati in:

Resting state cortical electroencephalographic rhythms in covert hepatic encephalopathy and Alzheimer's disease
No full textPatients suffering from prodromal (i.e., amnestic mild cognitive impairment, aMCI) and overt Alzheimer's disease (AD) show abnormal cortical sources of resting state electroencephalographic (EEG) rhythms. Here we tested the hypothesis that these sources show extensive abnormalities in liver cirrhosis (LC) patients with a cognitive impairment due to covert and diffuse hepatic encephalopathy (CHE). EEG activity was recorded in 64 LC (including 21 CHE), 21 aMCI, 21 AD, and 21 cognitively intact (Nold) subjects. EEG rhythms of interest were delta (2-4 Hz), theta (4-8 Hz), alpha 1 (8-10.5 Hz), alpha 2 (10.5-13 Hz), beta 1 (13-20 Hz), and beta 2 (20-30 Hz). EEG cortical sources were estimated by LORETA. Widespread sources of theta (all but frontal), alpha 1 (all but occipital), and alpha 2 (parietal, temporal) rhythms were higher in amplitude in all LC patients than in the Nold subjects. In these LC patients, the activity of central, parietal, and temporal theta sources correlated negatively, and parietal and temporal alpha 2 sources correlated positively with an index of global cognitive status. Finally, widespread theta (all but frontal) and alpha 1 (all but occipital) sources showed higher activity in the sub-group of LC patients with CHE than in the patients with aMCI or AD. These results unveiled the larger spatial-frequency abnormalities of the resting state EEG sources in the CHE compared to the AD condition
