Get PDFLa indeterminación de la especialización del juicio político sobre la base de los diversos funcionarios públicos y sus competencias han provocado una desnaturalización en la conceptualización de esta institución jurídica y en su aplicabilidad, volviéndolo un procedimiento arbitrario de presión política y alejado de un mecanismo de control y fiscalización política.
El problema jurídico mencionado surge ante un vacío legal y una dispersión normativa en la legislación ecuatoriana, debido a una omisión de carácter pragmático del legislador.
Dicho problema se ha evidenciado a través del aumento de procedimientos de juicios políticos y sus fallas en la práctica en los últimos tres períodos legislativos.
Este trabajo de titulación propone como solución una reforma parcial a la Constitución del Ecuador y una reforma a la Ley Orgánica de la Función Legislativa, con la finalidad de especializar el procedimiento en base a los sujetos pasivos, niveles y competencias para garantizar un debido proceso en el juicio político.The indetermination of the specialization of impeachment based on the different public officials and their competences has caused a distortion in the conceptualization of this legal institution and in the applicability,turning it into an arbitrary procedure of political pressure and far from a mechanism of political control and oversight.
The legal problem arises from a legal vacuum and a normative dispersion in the Ecuadorian legislation due to a pragmatic omission of the legislator.
This problem has been evidenced by the increase in the number of political trial procedures and their failures in practice in the last three legislative periods.
This degree work proposes as a solution a partial reform to the Constitution of Ecuador and a reform to the Organic Law of the Legislative Function to specialize the procedure based on the passive subjects, levels and competences and to guarantee a due process in the impeachment trial.Uise

chaos, so people were forced to leave their country of origin, due to the socio-political
repercussions, generating States are forced to create international treaties regarding refuge or
refugee status.
As stated, being a global impact, Ecuador as a member state of the United Nations, adhered to
international conventions, treaties and pacts on Human Rights, however, due to the little interest
of Ecuadorian territory in complying with what was stated, addresses the legal problem rooted in
the application and interpretation of international treaties, with respect to Public International Law,
Private International Law and Integration Law,
or that could make it difficult to comply with human rights obligations for a vulnerable group such
as people seeking to obtain refugee status due to police, economic, gender and/or sexual orientation
persecution, seeking international and national protection on Ecuador.
The objective of this work is to determine the degree of effectiveness that the Ecuadorian state
applies the international standards on refuge to which it has adhered.Al finalizar la segunda guerra mundial, reflejó un gran impacto sobre todos los estados, lo que dio
como resultado un caos migratorio, por lo que la gente se vio obligada a abandonar su país de
origen, debido a las repercusiones socio-políticas, generando que los estados se encuentran
forzados en crear tratados internacionales en materia de refugio o condición de refugiado.
Conforme lo manifestado, al ser un impacto global, ecuador como estado miembro de las Naciones
Unidas, se adherido a convenios, tratados y pactos internacionales en materia de Derechos
Humanos, sin embargo, debido al poco interés de territorio ecuatoriano en cumplir con lo
manifestado, encamina al problema jurídico radicado en la aplicación y la interpretación de los
tratados internacionales, respecto al derecho Internacional Público, Derecho Internacional Privado
y Derecho de Integración,
o que pude dificultar con el cumplimiento de las obligaciones sobre derechos humanos a un grupo
de vulnerabilidad como son las personas que buscan obtener la condición de refugio debido a las
persecuciones policías, económicas, de género y/o orientación sexual, buscando amparo
internacional y nacional en el Ecuador.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
