Vi har designet en tjeneste som knytter unge voksne til distriktskommuner, støtteaktører og gårdsbruk. Tjenesten bidrar til innovasjon i jordbruket ved å opprette kommunale gårder der unge voksne med interesse for jordbruk kan etablere seg. Kurs og veiledning hjelper dem i gang med å utvikle driftsformer som gjenoppbygger natur og lokalsamfunn.
Tjenesten Tilkomst skal fremme fellesskap og samarbeid for å møte fremtidens utfordringer. Ved å vise at et liv med nærhet til natur har åpenbare fordeler skal den bidra til at flere ser på distriktskommuner som attraktive bosted.submittedVersio

No full textLab for Future Learning is an exploration aimed at helping high school students within the Chinese education system better prepare for unpredictable futures.
Nowadays, the Chinese education system, particularly at the high school level, is very industrial and primarily focuses on developing certain competencies and skills in students to attain desired grades and secure admission to prestigious universities. This single-minded focus neglects the fact that unpredictable futures demand greater preparedness and adaptability to a variety of crisis situations. Many high school students today are more like “machines,” proficient in many skills molded by the Chinese education system, rather than individuals with a clear vision and corresponding strategies on how to navigate the complexities of their future lives. It is critical to facilitate students’ all-around development by equipping them with a more comprehensive skill set.
The Lab for Future Learning is this project’s design proposal. It is a proposed course development organization that offers an innovative course called “Competencies for the Future” targeted at Chinese high school students. Additionally, it includes a digital platform that offers three service design interventions: a syllabus, a teaching toolkit, and a number of assessment methods to assist high school teachers in effectively delivering this course.
This service- and systems-oriented design project aims to introduce crucial competencies that enhance Chinese high school students’ adaptability and resilience in navigating future complexities. Simultaneously, the related services empower other stakeholders in the Chinese high school education system to create an environment that supports course development for students. It facilitates the collective effort that is needed to enable change and foster the long-term development of alternative values. Additionally, it brings fresh perspectives to the ongoing dialogue on the Chinese high school education system, fostering deeper reflection on the existing education model.submittedVersio
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

No full textThis project explores how the rehabilitation service at Sunnaas hospital can support the recovery journey of spinal cord injury patients today. The project identifies, develops and runs design interventions with the objective of enhancing service delivery to support the patients’ lived experience while getting better. Three design interventions were developed: a system to support patients through messages, a new practice to help patients acknowledge their progress through photographs, and a whiteboard to provide the caregivers with an overview of the patients. Each of them acts as a driver to enable the service to move from current to new practices. At the same time, each aims to generate ripple effects extending into the future to make the service more supportive towards SCI patients.submittedVersio
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Exploring the consequences of emotional data
No full textThe project investigates how accurate emotional data would impact individuals and society. We ask the question: “how can we prepare future designers to use emotional data as a material?”
Our learnings from developing exploratory concepts are summarized in a set of principles for using emotional data, presented on a website.
The principles are meant to inform future work using emotional data as a material, and are designed to be actionable, and written in a way that makes actors who claim to follow them accountable.
Each principle is joined by “practices”; examples from concept work meant to further examplify how the principles can impact a project. The website will evolve in tandem with the technology developing, and when the technology eventually exists, take on a more reviewing role, looking at how real world examples apply accurate emotional data.
Experiential trial: ”Emotional facts robot”
Our approach in this project has been that going deep into different contexts will offer more valuable insight on future technology, than a purely system level approach. We made three exploratory concepts: A mental health app, content recommendation, and targeted ads, as well as a number of experiential trials.
