Speed of Publication of Statutes and Regulations in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States
Examines reasons for typical delays in publication of statutes & regulations in UK,US, & Canada. Finds US federal laws published more slowly because of time taken to add marginal notes after enactmen

Normative reconstruction and social character of freedom in Axel Honneth
This research object aims to study and identify the essential traits involved in the theoretical approach of social and political relations brought in the work Freedom’s Right by the german philosopher Axel Honneth. It analyses the hegelian influence on the concept of freedom, as well as the factors related to the supply of subjective needs, mediated by the different social "spheres". Honneth thus seeks to bring to light the understanding of a new model of freedom stemming from Hegel’s Philosophy of Law, which differs substantially from traditional models. The author seeks to highlight the limitation of liberal theories of justice, invoking the need for an integrated view of the social relations experienced in the spheres referred to by Hegel, conceiving a concrete experience of social freedom. In this sense, the interdisciplinary and emancipatory character of the normative reconstruction method is evidenced, as a theorical basis for public justification in modern societies
Applications of positron emission tomography in animal models of neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders
Positron emission tomography (PET) provides dynamic images of the biodistribution of radioactive tracers in the brain. Through application of the principles of compartmental analysis, tracer uptake can be quantified in terms of specific physiological processes such as cerebral blood flow, cerebral metabolic rate, and the availability of receptors in brain. Whereas early PET studies in animal models of brain diseases were hampered by the limited spatial resolution of PET instruments, dedicated small-animal instruments now provide molecular images of rodent brain with resolution approaching 1 mm, the theoretic limit of the method. Major applications of PET for brain research have consisted of studies of animal models of neurological disorders, notably Parkinson's disease (PD), Alzheimer's disease (AD), and Huntington's disease (HD), stroke, epilepsy and traumatic brain injury; these studies have particularly benefited from selective neurochemical lesion models (PD), and also transgenic rodent models (AD, HD). Due to their complex and uncertain pathophysiologies, corresponding models of neuropsychiatric disorders have proven more difficult to establish. Historically, there has been an emphasis on PET studies of dopamine transmission, as assessed with a range of tracers targeting dopamine synthesis, plasma membrane transporters, and receptor binding sites. However, notable recent breakthroughs in molecular imaging include the development of greatly improved tracers for subtypes of serotonin, cannabinoid, and metabotropic glutamate receptors, as well as noradrenaline transporters, amyloid-β and neuroinflammatory changes. This article reviews the considerable recent progress in preclinical PET and discusses applications relevant to a number of neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders in humans

Artificial intelligence for the detection, quantification and characterization of metastatic prostate cancer in PSMA PET/CT - where are we now?
Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most frequent tumor entity in
men worldwide. Since their clinical introduction in 2011,
PSMA-PET/CT and radionuclide therapy with PSMA-ligands
have rapidly spread worldwide and are regarded as significant
step forwards in the diagnosis and therapy of PCa.
However, it is still an unmet challenge to evaluate and control
all tumor lesions including their volume and characteristics
in the complex context of advanced multimetastatic
disease in PSMA-PET/CT. Such a control plays an important
role, e.g. for the optimization of PSMA-ligandtherapy. In
this context, artificial intelligence (AI) could play an important
role in the near future. The rapid development of AI in
the past few years has demonstrated its superiority in extending
the human power of data processing and provides
great potential to improve the detection, quantification
and characterization of metastatic prostate cancer lesions
in PSMA-PET/CT. This paper reviews the current progress
of the development of artificial intelligence methods for
PSMA-PET/CT and discusses the potential of clinical application
