    The article is devoted to the analysis of the novel by Polish writer Jerzy Sosnowski “Aglaja Apocryph”. The focus is on the principle of mythopoetics, which is actively used by the author. From the whole variety of mythological elements of the novel, two myths stand out – the twin and the Golem myth; their specificity, transformation and role in the novel are studied.Статья посвящена анализу романа польского писателя Ежи Сосновского «Апокриф Аглаи». В центре внимания – принцип мифопоэтики, который активно используется автором.     This article attempts to answer the question of whether we can describe contemporary poetry as avant-garde? The author recognizes problems associated with defining the avant-garde as a historical phenomenon and proposes - resorting to Marjorie Perloff ’s concepts - a new way of interpreting contemporary poetry as an arrière-garde reconstruction of avant-garde poetics. The oeuvre of Andrzej Sosnowski is analyzed as an interesting example of how the strategy of unoriginality can be incorporated into a new model of arrière-garde poetics
