Desktop application for weighing commercial vehicles
Get PDFV sklopu diplomskega dela je bila izdelana namizna aplikacija ATS, ki je namenjena podjetjem za beleženje vhodnih in izhodnih tehtanj tovornih vozil. V uvodnem teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela so predstavljene in na kratko opisane uporabljene tehnologije in orodja za razvoj aplikacije ter sama strojna oprema, ki smo jo uporabili pri izdelavi in testiranju aplikacije. Aplikacija je bila zgrajena v programskem jeziku C# na podlagi .NET platforme in uporablja sistem za upravljanje s podatkovnimi bazami MySQL. Glavni praktični del diplomskega dela opisuje izdelavo podatkovne baze, uporabniškega vmesnika in natančen opis funkcionalnosti aplikacije na podlagi uporabniških zahtev. Za izdelavo aplikacije smo uporabili razvojno okolje Microsoft Visual Studio. Za prikaz strukture podatkovne baze pa smo uporabili orodje Microsoft Workbench, iz katerega smo izvozili entitetno-relacijski diagram obstoječe podatkovne baze.As a part of the diploma thesis, we developed the desktop application ATS, which is intended for recording the weight of goods vehicles at their arrival at a company and at their departure. The theoretical introduction of the thesis presents and shortly describes the technology and tools, which were used to develop the application and it also describes the hardware, which was used not only for development but also for testing. The application was built in the C# programming language, based on .NET framework and it uses MySQL, a relational database management system. The main part, which focuses on practice, describes the making of the database, the user interface and a detailed description of the application’s functionality, based on user requirements. Microsoft Visual Studio served as the development environment for the application. To show the structure of the database, we used Microsoft Workbench tool, out of which we exported an entity-relationship diagram of the existing database
BUSINESS PROCESS OPTIMISATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR BY APPLICATION OF LEAN METHOD PRINCIPLES ON THE EXAMPLE OF COMPANY KRAJNC L.L.C.
Get PDFVitka proizvodnja pripomore organizacijam na sami kakovosti, kakovosti dela in socialnih razmerjih, zato se vse več organizacij in podjetij odloča za vpeljevanje vitke proizvodnje. Prav tako smo se tudi mi odločili, da bomo z našo diplomsko nalogo pripomogli vpeljati vitko proizvodnjo v avtokleparsko in ličarsko podjetje Krajnc d.o.o. V diplomski nalogo smo s pomočjo strokovne literature v teoretičnem delu opisali samo vitko proizvodnjo, njene gradnike in njeno vpeljavo v organizacijo. V nadaljevanju smo opisali podjetje Krajnc d.o.o. in njegov delovni proces ter metode: metodo 6-S, 5x Zakaj in Pareto analizo, katere smo vpeljali v podjetje. V empiričnem delu pa predstavljamo omejitve, na katere smo naleteli pri samem raziskovanju, analize delovnih procesov in odstopanj po delovnih nalogah ter aktivnosti zaposlenih. Vse analize smo podprli z dokazi izboljšav in s samimi računskimi dokazi.
Cilj diplomske naloge je bil povečati doseganje delovnih normativov, ki so predpisani s strani zavarovalnic. S pomočjo diplomske naloge smo povečali doseganje delovnih normativov in izboljšali odnose ter komunikacijo v podjetju, s čimer je vodstvo podjetja zelo zadovoljno. Tako je bil cilj diplomske naloge dosežen.Lean manufacturing enables companies to improve their own quality, quality of their work and the level of social relations. Therefore, more and more organizations and companies are deciding to implement lean manufacturing. Thus the aim of this thesis has been to help implementing of lean manufacturing into the car body making and panel beating company Krajnc d.o.o. The theoretical part of the thesis describes lean manufacturing, its parts and implementation process on the basis of professional literature. Furthermore, the company Krajnc d.o.o and its working process are described together with methods used during research: method 6S and 5 Whys and Pareto Analyses which have been implemented in the company. The empirical part presents the problem that appeared during the research, the analyses of working processes and the deviations at working assignments and activities of the employees. All analyses have been supported by examples of improvements and pure calculations.
The main goal of this thesis was to enlarge achievement of work normative regulated by insurance companies. With the help of the thesis the achievement of normative has improved together with the relations and communication within the company, which has greatly satisfied the managers. Therefore the goal of the thesis has been completely achieved

IMPACT OF PLAYING THE BUSINESS GAME INNOV8 ON THE ABILITY OF BUSINESS PROCESS MODELING
Get PDFInnov8 je IBM -ova 3D simulacijska poslovna igra, v kateri igralec dobi nalogo prenoviti in izboljšati poslovanje podjetja, ki je zabredlo v težave. Skozi igro se uporabnik sooča s problemi komuniciranja med oddelki, pridobivanja informacij od zaposlenih ter seveda s pravilno zasnovo novega modela poslovnega procesa. Z zanimivejšim pristopom želi IBM približati management poslovnih procesov širšemu krogu študentov poslovnih šol ter poslovnežem, da bi lažje razumeli postopke in procese, ki so potrebni za prenovo poslovnih procesov v podjetju.
V diplomski nalogi smo testirali ali se je z pomočjo igre res možno naučiti zgoraj omenjenih veščin. Osredotočili smo se na testiranje vpliva ki ga ima poslovna igra Innov8 na sposobnost študentov pri modeliranju novih procesov. To smo storili tako, da smo pomerili rezultate študentov pri modeliranju ene naloge pred igranjem igre, ter nato rezultate modeliranja druge naloge po odigrani igri. Rezultate obeh nalog smo nato primerjali.Innov8 is IBM\u27s 3D business simulation game in which the player gets the task of revising and improving the operation of the company, which has gotten into trouble. Throughout the game, the user is faced with problems of communication between departments, obtaining information from employees and, of course, with proper design of the new business process model. With a more interesting approach, IBM wants to bring business process management to a wider range of business schools students and businessman, to help them understand the procedures and processes that are necessary for the renewal of business processes in the company.
In this diploma we tested whether it is possible that by playing this game, the above mentiones skills can realy be taught. We focused on testing the impact of the serious game Innov8 on the ability of students in the modeling of new processes. This was done by measuring the students results of modeling two different processes, one before and one after playing the game. Results of both tasks were then compared

Get PDFV diplomski nalogi smo se ukvarjali z optimizacijo delovnega procesa. Želimo dvigniti produktivnost na montažni liniji. Za optimiranje procesa, povečanje produktivnosti, smo uporabili projektni pristop, interni projekt produktivnosti. Z različnimi vedami in že uveljavljenimi orodji, kot so Work Factor, interna metoda zeleno-rdeče-modro, sistem 20 ključev, Ergonomija, smo optimirali proces, da smo prišli do želenega cilja. Obstoječo montažno linijo smo optimirali, produktivnost smo povečali za 10 % in z našim delom naredili zelo dobre temelje za nadaljnjo optimizacijo podjetja.In this degree dissertation we deal with the optimization of the work process. We want to optimize, raise productivity on the assembly line. To optimize the process, increase productivity, we used a project-based approach, internal project productivity. With a variety of disciplines and useful tools such as Work Factor, internal method green-red-blue, 20-key system, Ergonomics, we optimized the process that we have to reach our goal. Existing assembly line was optimized, we have increased productivity of assembly line. Productivity on the assembly line was increased by 10%. With our work we have achieved an excellent starting position, for the optimization of the entire production of the company
THE IMPACT OF IS SAOP ON PRODUCTION OF COMPANY METRA
Get PDFV diplomski nalogi je predstavljeno, kako uvedba novega informacijskega sistema (IS) SAOP vpliva na delo in izvedbo procesov v proizvodnji od naročila kupca do izvedbe proizvodnje.Dokazano je, da je za uspešno vodenje proizvodnje potreben ustrezno podprt informacijski sistem, ki asistira zaposlenim in pomaga vodji, da natančno in pravočasno vodi proizvodni proces.
Izboljšave in razvoj informacijskega sistema proizvodnje naj bi zmanjšali administrativno obremenitev pri procesu planiranja proizvodnje. Dobro, pravilno in pravočasno planirani procesi zagotavljajo pravočasnost dobav naročil kupcu, optimizirano zasedenost proizvodnje ter hitrejše in natančnejše opravljanje nalog. Dobro poznavanje trajanja izvajanja procesov prispeva k večjemu nadzoru nad celotnim procesom in podrejenimi aktivnostmi.
V diplomski nalogi je predstavljen vpliv uvedbe IS SAOP na celoten delovni proces v podjetju Metra inženiring, d.o.o. Analizirani so časi naročanja materiala in izdelave delovnega naloga, preverjen vpliv IS SAOP na spremembe osnovnih podatkov o tehnoloških postopkih ter analizirani časi administracije delovnih procesov in administracije papirnega izdajanja delovnega naloga. Izvedeni sta primerjava podatkov pred uvedbo IS SAOP in po njej ter anketa zaposlenih o uporabnosti IS SAOP.In the thesis we present how the introduction of an IT system (“SAOP”) impacted the work and execution process in the production line, from the customer order to the actual production. It has been proven, that in order to ensure a successful management of the production, an adequate support information system is needed. The support information system assists the workers and their manager in order to execute the production process precisely and on time.
Improvements and further development of the production information system should reduce the administrative burden involved in the production planning process. Well organized, timed and precise processes ensure the timely supply of goods to the customer, optimize the occupancy of the production line and increase the speed and precision of the tasks at hand. A comprehensive knowledge of the processes’ execution time brings more control over the whole process and subordinate activities.
In the thesis we will present the impact of implementing IS SAOP on the whole working process in Metra d.o.o.. We will analyse the material order and manufacturing time of a work order, observe the impact of IS SAOP on the change of basic information within the technological processes, analyse the administration time of working orders and the administration of paper working orders. Data will be compared before and after the implementation of IS SAOP. Surveys will be handed out to the employees which will be asked for their opinion in regards on the applicability of IS SAOP

Get PDFPodjetja imajo težave s skladiščenjem težkega in rinfuznega materiala pri določanju skladiščnih enot in pri optimizaciji skladiščnih procesov.
V diplomski nalogi smo najprej preučili skladiščne procese referenčnega podjetja ter jih podkrepili z intervjuji. Z znanjem skladiščnih procesov smo dobili natančnejši vpogled v problematiko skladiščenja.
Nato smo preučili najboljše svetovne prakse po modelu SCOR-12 in jih skupaj z raziskavo primerov iz literature uporabili za analizo trenutnega stanja.
Pravilno uporabo najboljših praks smo primerjali s stanjem v referenčnem podjetju in pripravili predloge izboljšav v procesih skladiščenja težkega in rinfuznega materiala.Companies have problems with storage of heavy and bulk materials in the designation of storage units and in the optimization of storage processes.
In the thesis, we first examined the storage processes of the reference company and supported them with interviews. Knowledge of warehousing processes gave us a more precise insight into the problems of storage.
We then examined best global practices using the SCOR-12 model and used them together with case studies from the literature to analyze the current situation.
The correct application of best practices was compared with the reference of the company and suggestions were made for improvements in the processes of storage of heavy and bulk material

Za izboljšanje procesov v naši proizvodnji in dvig produktivnosti smo izbrali koncept vitke proizvodnje.
Diplomsko delo na teoretičnih in praktičnih primerih opisuje uvajanje načel vitke proizvodnje in pilotni projekt, ki se je izvajal na oddelku kolenaste gredi.
Odprti trgi, globalizacija, težnja po nečem novem so razlogi za stalno povečevanje konkurence.
Načinov za izboljšanje procesov je veliko. Vsak ima svoje prednosti in slabosti. Ključ do uspeha je – najti pravi način za določeno vrsto proizvodnje. Za izboljšanje procesov v naši proizvodnji in dvig produktivnosti smo izbrali koncept »vitke proizvodnje« (»Lean Manufacturing«).
Diplomsko delo bo na praktičnih in teoretičnih primerih opisovalo različna orodja, ki jih uporabljamo pri »vitki proizvodnji«.

Get PDFV magistrskem delu predstavljamo razvoj novega pristopa k operativnemu odločanju v podjetju. Predpostavili smo, da ima strateški management kot vhod v proizvodni proces podani dve osnovni spremenljivki, kot sta tehnologija in tržna struktura. Operativni management mora nato s svojimi orodji voditi proizvodnjo tako, da bo zadovoljila kupce in lastnike.
Namen magistrskega dela je predstavitev implementacije orodja, s katerim bi pomagali operativnemu managementu pri sprejemanju boljših odločitev, ki imajo vpliv na povečanje produktivnosti. Kot orodje smo uporabili karto pretoka materiala (VSM1) pri planiranju produktivnosti v samem podjetju. Novo managersko orodje smo implementirali v podjetu Sava Tires d.o.o.In Master degree we introduce a new operative management decision making tool implementation. We have supposed that Strategic management has as input in production process two main variables, like technology and market structure. Operative management has to lead the production process in direction to customers and owners satisfaction.
The purpose of Master degree is introduction of Value Stream Map, which helps an Operative management to better decision making and therefore has influence on increase in production. As a tool we used Value Stream Map to plan productivity in the company. The new tool we have implemented in Sava Tires d.o.o
