Indonesia juga memperkaya dan memberi warna dan corak ke-Indonesiaan pada agama, pengetahuan sehingga menjadi spesifik Indonesia. Boleh dikatakan sejak dahulu pendidikan di Indonesia berdasarkan agama.Terdapat beberapa ciri pendidikan pada periode kerajaan-kerajaan Hindu-Buddha di Indonesia, antara lain:
a. Bersifat informal karena proses belajar mengajar tidak melalui institusi yang formal.
b. Berpusat pada religi, yaitu ajaran agama Hindu dan Buddha.
c. Aristokratis dimana pendidikan hanya diikuti oleh segolongan masyarakat saja, yaitu para raja dan bangsawan. Kaum bangsawan biasanya mengundang guru untuk mengajar anak-anaknya di istana disamping ada juga yang mengutus anak-anaknya yang pergi belajar ke
guru-guru tertentu.
d. Pengelola pendidikan adalah kaum Brahmana untuk agama Hindu dan
para Biksu untuk agama Buddha.

Global warming is caused by the increasing of carbon consentration in the
atmosphere beyond its natural consentration. One of the efforts to reduce
greenhouse gases is by presenting plants or plants which absorb carbon. The
information about the carbon content of the vegetation or forest stands can be
obtained by guessing vegetation biomass. The technology of remote sensing and
Geographic Information Systems are considered adequate to give the required
information quickly and completely with an adequate level of accuracy and
relatively low cost.
Langkat District has 113725.241 ha wide of a total area of graden area.
Carbon stocks in above-ground on Elaeis guineensis Jacq stand. In area of palm
plantation of Langkat District has 68.84t/ha of the highest carbon value which is
quite good. The model was developed using statistical approach based on the
relation of between digital numbers and vegetation index derived from remot
sensing and carbon content which is measured of plot sample. The result of the
research showed the best model which was obtained from Landsat ETM 5 is
Y = 38.39 + 26.24 * NDVI with determination coefficient 49.14% . Thus the
index of vegetation NDVI is the best index used to estimate carbon in Langkat,

Information about land cover is very important for existence a KPH to
help KPH related to the forest management. The purpose of this research were
toanalyzed land cover in 2014, to classifies land cover based on land cover time
and mapping land cover. This research did in April until May 2015. The method
which used in this research is supervised classification using image of landsat 8.
The result of this research showing that 5 land cover class in KPHL Toba Samosir
Unit XIV region. They are secondary dryland forest, forest plantations, dryland
farming, shrubs, and water. The recommendation are fix management strategy as
more empower society in dryland farming management doing land rehabilitation
use non timber forest products and manage environmental service and

Today the needs human for ecotourism is increasing. The increasing
intensity of visits can resulted the attraction if properly didn’t managed. So needs
planning to analyze the potential, land function, tourist needs and maximum
functionality of an ecotourism area to prevent. Linting lake is one of the potential
attractions and being developed into a tourist area. This study aims to analyze the
design zoning district for facilities and needs of ecotourism which use a
regulatory approach No: KM.67/UM.001/MKP/2004, socio-economic
communities and visitors. The research was conducted in September 2012 in Lake
Linting area, Sibunga-bunga Hilir Village.
Research results indicate that the region of Lake Linting which
approximately area 4 hectares divided into 4 zoning models: intensive, semi-
intensive, extensive (primary & secondary), and protection. The design of this
region conducted for 12 facilities support for the effectiveness and efficiency of

The goal of this reseach is to know the tegakan aren potensi (A renga
Pinnata Merr), at area batang toru florest in tapanuli utara, and to know the level
of utilization and the society understanding for aren (a renga Pinnata Merr). This
reseach has been done on april upto june 2014 through inventory of plan,
interpretation, interview with the society arround this florest. Inventory has been
done bye petak sambling method with square tripe technik.
This research got 365 aren from 500 plot of observation or 18,5
individuals per hecktar. part of aren which used in this region are leaves, palm
leaf ribs, jantan flowers, betina flowers and palm fibers. utilization of aren in

EKO RUMONDANG MARBUN. Eksploration of Medicinal Plants and
Utilization (Case Study: Batang Toru Forest Block West, Adiankoting District,
North Tapanuli Regency). Suvervised by IRAWATI AZHAR and RISWAN.
The purpose of the research was to know about the kindly and potential of
medicinal plants found in Batang Toru Forest Block West, Adiankoting district.
The research was done in April to June 2014 by data collection, interviews with
the public, and field sampling. Field sampling was conducted by using a
combination of methods to track and laying checkered line sample units in
systematic sampling with random start.
The research result showed 43 species of medicinal plants. From 43
species, 36 species are utilized by the community. Part of the plant most widely
used are the leaf. The research showed that biodiversity of medicinal plants in

Changes in landuse and land cover change through forest conversion is the
caused of global warming. Due to the climate change, agroforestry systems is
estimated to have a high potential for carbon sequestration in the atmosphere.
Agroforestry systems contribute to reducing the increase in atmospheric CO2 and
other greenhouse gases by increasing carbon in the soil and reduce the pressure
for forest clearing, where the carbon comes from CO2 is taken up by plants and
stored in the form of biomass. This study aims to quantify the carbon content and
to map the distribution of carbon in agroforestry stands in Langkat District using
data of remote sensing. Calculation of carbon stocks doing with non-destructive
by using allometric method and landskap (NDVI) method.
Vegetation types that exist in distribution of land agroforestry in Langkat
District are sengon, mindi, sungkai, coklat, mangga, mahoni, nangka, durian,
karet, kemiri, jati, jengkol, petai, and duku. The amount of carbon stocks in
agroforestry stands in Sei Bingai subdistrict, Bahorok subdistrict, and Wampu
subdistrict are 58,438 ton/ha, 63,005 ton/ha, and 56,76 ton/ha. Differences in
carbon content acquistion is influenced by vegetation density, diversity of size,
and distribution of vegetation density.
NDVI vegetation index analysis with field data (carbon content) results in
a simple linear regression equation is Y = 33,62+43,53x with a correlation
coefficient is 0,807. The results obtained showed a good liniear relationship that
can be said on the estimation of carbon stocks that can be done to explain the

West Block of Batang Toru Forest known as important area for
biodiversity conservation and livelihood support systems continuity of the wider
community. The close relation between economyc activity, social community and
physical condition with Batang Toru forest cover visible from its forest cover
change because of deforestation. Starting from this, this study aims to determine
the land use change from forest to non-forest and its causes in terms of social,
economic and physical. This study was conducted from October 2012 to March
2013. Mapping method is done by using a geographic information system (GIS)
using extension Change Detection. Analysis of the factors affecting changes in
land use Correlation Analysis and Regression Analysis using software SPSS
16.00.
The results showed that the total area of land use change from forest to
non-forest in the period 2000 to 2010 in four districts amounted to 4728.96
hectares or reduced by 29.04% of the total area of forests in the year 2000 in the
amount of 16280.74 Ha . Predictors of the five factors specified in the four
districts of the most influential factors in the change of forest land to non-forest is
the population density factor and the existence of rubber as the main livelihood in

Pelaksanaan pendaftaran tanah bekas milik adat di Desa Moncong Loe Lappara, Kecamatan Moncong Loe, Kabupaten Maros dibedakan dua hal, pertama, pendaftaran sukarela yaitu pendaftaran yang terjadi atas permintaan orang yang bersangkutan yang memiliki tanah dengan kesadaran sendiri dan kedua pendaftaran wajib yaitu pendaftaran karena warisan, pendaftaran karena warisan yang akan diperjualbelikan dan pendaftaran karena jual beli. Adapun upaya yang dilakukan oleh Kantor Pertanahan Kabupaten Maros dalam pelaksanaan pendaftaran tanah bekas milik adat yaitu menambah peralatan teknis di Kantor Pertanahan dalam rangka menambah kapasitas pemberian sertifikat serta meningkatkan pemberian pelayanan kepada masyarakat, serta memberikan ceramah/penyuluhan kepada seluruh camat dan selanjutnya menginstruksikan kepada camat untuk memberikan ceramah kepada Kepala Desa agar disampaikan kepada masyarakat setempat guna meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan arti pentingnya pendaftaran tanah, secara rutin diadakan penyuluhan tentang prosedur, syarat pendaftaran dan lain-lain yang berkaitan dengan pendaftaran tanah terutama bagi masyarakat yang kurang informasi tentang pendaftaran tanah
