    SIGIT : an information system for integral approach of land management : an LADM implementation in Honduras and Guatemala

    In a new and integral land management approach in four municipalities in Honduras and Guatemala the Land Administration Domain Model has been used as a tool in support to system development for land administration. A pilot implementation for municipal information infrastructure in four municipalities (Puerto Cortes, Omoa and Tela in Honduras and Puerto Barrios in Guatemala) should test improved management of geographic information. Data should be published on the web for web access by citizens, a one stop shop has been introduced, and integration of data at different levels avoids data duplication. Very important impact of improved access is in building trust by more transparency. New work procedures have been defined and implemented and the information system SIGIT (Sistema de Información Gestión Integral de Tierras) has been designed and implemented supporting these concepts. Apart from forming the basis for sustainable land transactions and land use planning, the SIGIT can be supportive to a situation where all citizens in a municipality pay the land tax and where land-possession can be converted to legal land ownership. SIGIT operates as a one-stop shop at the municipal side. The design of SIGIT is based upon the Land Administration Domain Model ISO 19152 to manage the cadastre and land use planning data from this point of view. To meet the requirements additions to the LADM were designed. The LADM additions to implement SIGIT in Honduras and Guatemala are necessary to store extra information about spatial zones, parcels and buildings as required by the municipalities during development. Furthermore, the information regarding building and operation permits, with their respective user-defined spatial and administrative rules, were out of scope of LADM. Therefore, the corresponding additions were necessary as well. The paper provides an overview of the SIGIT goals and requirements, the design and development. Within this context the focus is to the use of the LADM and its modifications for SIGIT development and a short evaluation of the LADM as a tool for development

The aim of this study was to obtain heat and mass transfer equation based on modeling has been prepared and finished using numerical methods. The study starts from determining assumptions, construction of models, make up the mathematical equation of heat and mass transfer, determine the type of numerical methods used, complete the heat and mass transfer equations using numerical methods that have been chosen. Grains as the dried thing modeled as porous bodies.     Music is a communication activity by using sound to convey a message to be expressed with a song. The song has a meaning as a literary work which is almost the same as poetry but is conveyed by playing melodies and harmonies. The song starts from a lyric in the form of stanzas created by an author aimed at conveying the message expressed. The messages contained in the lyrics of the created songs can be themed on friendship, motivation, love, and others. This study aims to determine and interpret the meaning of love contained in the lyrics of a song entitled Bismillah Cinta by Sigit Purnomo. This study uses the semiotic approach of Ferdinand De Saussure which makes the analogy of language as a signified and a signifier. This type of research uses descriptive and qualitative analysis. The source of data used in this research is the lyrics of a song entitled Bismillah Cinta by Sigit Purnomo. Through the analysis of the lyrics of the song, the results of this study reveal and convey the meaning that love is a feeling of trust that is trying to be expressed.     Potential integration of Chinese and European emissions trading market: welfare distribution analysis

    A new paper has found that the European Union (EU) and China would both see benefits if their respective ETSs were integrated. The analysis shows that China’s welfare would improve through the “net gain of selling the [carbon] allowance”. In comparison, the EU would face lower abatement costs by purchasing more permits from China, allowing the region to improve its competitiveness, the paper says. According to Dr Sigit Perdana from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, a co-author of the paper, the study is the first to analyse the welfare effects of the potential integration for each EU member state. He tells Carbon Brief the assessment reveals that EU countries with highly energy-intensive industries would benefit the most, while others would face opposite effects. He adds: “We also find that limiting the trade quota to 40% is the optimum level, as it captures most of the welfare gain coming from CO2 trading for the EU.”LEUR

    Abstrak Software Soundcard Osciloscope V1.40 adalah perangkat lunak yang dapat digunakan untuk menampilkan suara dalam bentuk grafik spektrum frekuensi maupun panjang gelombang. Dengan kemampuan tersebut software ini berpotensi untuk dapat digunakan sebagai alat ukur frekuensi dalam praktikum efek dopler. Tulisan ini akan melaporkan hasil studi kelayakan pemanfaatan Software Soundcard Osciloscope V1.40 untuk praktikum efek Dopler. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh besaran frekuensi menggunakan Software Soundcard Oscilloscope V1.40 dan membandingkan hasil eksperimen dengan teori. Penelitian ini dimulai dari uji tanggapan frekuensi Software tersebut terhadap sumber suara yang telah diketahui frekuensinya. Lalu, dilanjutkan dengan uji tanggapan frekuensi pada sumber bunyi yang belum diketahui frekuensinya. Setelah itu, digunakan untuk mengukur frekuensi sumber bunyi ketika dalam keadaan diam dan bergerak. Terakhir membandingkan hasil eksprimen dengan hasil teori menurut efek Dopler. Berdasarkan hasil eksperimen dan hasil teori diketahui bahwa pola grafik yang dibentuk sama-sama linier, sedangkan perbedaan hasil keduanya semakin kecil jika frekuensi suara semakin kecil. Dengan demikian software osciloskop dapat digunakan untuk praktikum efek Dopler.Kata kunci: software soundcard osciloscope, praktikum efek Dopler.</jats:p

Data yang digunakan adalah data yang telah dikumpulkan pada waktu penulis melaksanakan praktek layar selama satu tahun. Data yang diperoleh tersebut akan diolah dan disusun secara sistematis dan teratur. Dalam penyelesaian masalah, penulis mengemukakan pendapat dengan menyatakan bahwa semua perwira di atas kapal harus menanamkan kedisiplinan dalam diri mereka dahulu. Dalam hal ini semua akademi pelayaran harus memberikan pelajaran kepemimpinan kepada para taruna untuk menjadikan taruna-taruna menjadi seorang perwira dan pemimpin yang baik dalam kepemimpinan di atas kapal. Seringnya terjadi kesalahpahaman saat ABK menerima perintah dari perwira. Hal ini diakibatkan karena banyaknya para perwira yang tidak menggunakan pendekatan ataupun memberi tugas dengan agak memaksa yang menyebabkan kejenuhan bahkan sifat yang memberontak atas perintah tersebut. In solving the problem, the author claimed that their opinions by stating that all officers on board had to instill discipline in themselves first. In this case all shipping academies must provide leadership lessons to cadets to make cadets become good officers and leaders in leadership on board. Frequent misunderstandings occur when crew receives orders from officers. This was due to the large number of officers who did not use the approach or gave the task rather forcefully which caused the saturation of even the rebellious nature of the order. Finally, the writer can draw conclusions from the elements in the leadership role on the ship that are closely related to success in achieving common goals

    Analisis Korelasi Kesadaran Metakognisi Dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa SMA

    Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara kesadaran metakognisi dengan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran di tingkat SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Randudongkal. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Randudongkal sebanyak 176 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 70 siswa yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik sampling purposive. Instrumen terdiri dari tes dan angket. Tes digunakan untuk mengukur hasil belajar fisika. Angket digunakan untuk mengukur kesadaran metakognisi. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukan bahwa kesadaran metakognisi siswa berada pada kategori tinggi dan hasil belajar fisika berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil analisis korelasi dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif antara kesadaran metakognisi siswa dengan hasil belajar fisika degan taraf signifikasi 5% atau . Nilai korelasi product moment yang diperoleh adalah nilai 0,656 dan nilai = 0,235. Karena nilai , maka ditolak dan diterima (terdapat hubungan). Artinya terdapat korelasi positif dan signifikan antara kesadaran metakognisi dengan hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Randudongkal.Kata kunci: Kesadaran metakognisi, Hasil belajarAbstract. This study aims to determine the correlation between metacognitive awareness and student learning outcomes in learning at the high school level. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research with the type of correlation research conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Randudongkal. The population in this study were students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Randudongkal as many as 176 students. The sample used in the study was 70 students who were determined using purposive sampling technique. The instrument consists of a test and a questionnaire. The test is used to measure the results of learning physics. Questionnaire was used to measure metacognitive awareness.The results of the descriptive analysis show that students' metacognitive awareness is in the high category and physics learning outcomes are in the medium category. The results of the correlation analysis in this study indicate that there is a positive correlation between students' metacognitive awareness and physics learning outcomes with a significance level of 5% or = 0.05. The product moment correlation value obtained is the value of 0.656 and the value of = 0.235. Because the value of (0.656) ≥ (0.235), then is rejected and is accepted (there is a relationship). This means that there is a positive and significant correlation between metacognitive awareness and physics learning outcomes of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Randudongkal.     Analisis Gerak Pesawat Atwood Menggunakan Sensor IR-LED Dan Pengolahan Citra

    Abstrak. Praktikum Gerak Lurus Beraturan (GLB) dan Gerak Lurus Berubah Beraturan (GLBB) yang umum digunakan yaitu dengan menggunakan set alat pesawat Atwood. Pengoperasian alat ini biasanya masih dilakukan secara tradisional menggunakan stopwatch. Seringkali praktikum yang dilakukan dengan alat tradisional menghasilkan data yang kurang akurat, sehingga perlu dikembangkan set alat yang beroperasi secara otomatis. Set alat otomatis yang dapat dikombinasikan dengan pesawat Atwood diantaranya yaitu sensor IR-LED dan software pengolahan citra TRACKER. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mencari tahu perbedaan keakuratan antara sensor IR-LED dan software TRACKER dalam analisis GLB dan GLBB menggunakan pesawat Atwood. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 10 kali pada setiap alatnya. Didapati hasil, rata-rata kecepatan 46,89 cm/s untuk analisis menggunakan sensor IR-LED dan 48,35 cm/s untuk rata-rata kecepatan analisis menggunakan software TRACKER. Sedangkan rata-rata percepatan yang terukur adalah 59,42 cm/s² untuk analisis menggunakan sensor IR-LED dan 54,85 cm/s² untuk analisis menggunakan software TRACKER. Perbedaan hasil pengukuran dari kedua percobaan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan keakuratan antara sensor IR-LED dan software TRACKER yang digunakan untuk menganalisis GLB dan GLBB pada pesawat Atwood. Practicum of Uniform Motion (GLB) and Uniformly Changing Motion (GLBB) which are commonly used are using the Atwood plane tool set. The operation of this tool is usually still done traditionally using a stopwatch. Often practicums carried out with traditional tools produce less accurate data, so it is necessary to develop a set of tools that operate automatically. Sets of automatic tools that can be combined with Atwood aircraft include IR-LED sensors and TRACKER image processing software. This research was conducted to find out the difference in accuracy between the IR-LED sensor and the TRACKER software in the analysis of GLB and GLBB using the Atwood aircraft. This research was carried out 10 times on each tool. The results showed that the average speed was 46.89 cm/s for analysis using the IR-LED sensor and 48.35 cm/s for the average speed of analysis using TRACKER software. While the average acceleration measured is 59.42 cm/s² for analysis using IR-LED sensors and 54.85 cm/s² for analysis using TRACKER software. The difference in the measurement results of the two tools, concluded that there was a difference in accuracy between the IR-LED sensor and the TRACKER software used to analyze GLB and GLBB on Atwood aircraft.Keywords: Atwood aircraft, IR-LED, image processing, TRACKE
