No full textRound table conference on “Traduzione letteraria dal Medioevo al Novecento: prospettive catalane e ispaniche a confronto”, directed by Veronica Orazi (Università degli Studi di Torino), with the participation of Enric Bou (Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia), Patrizio Rigobon (Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia) and Isabel Turull (Università di Roma “La Sapienza”). The speeches remember the phases of the genesis and the development of the translation practice from/into catalan, both on a national and international level, paying special attention to the Italian context. They recall the scholars’ and translators’ profound interest for Catalan literature, from its origins to the contemporary production. This phenomenon, which is constantly increasing, had a very good reception since its appearance among critics and readers; such trend is an essential completion of the academic activity carried out by the Italian scholars
