Because in social media there are many conveniences that are obtained and have the most updated and current news, so that people can get information easily and quickly. In the online media there is a lot of news that is influenced by ideology. This study aims to show how the media frame a news media so that it is presented to the wider community in news about the Artist's Action Baim Wong scolding a grandfather named Suhud on online media Detikhot.com & Tempo.co. The focus of the research in this thesis is how Baim Wong's framing of actions scolds an old man named Suhud which was published in the OnlineDetikhot & Tempo edition of October 13, 2021. In the identification process of this research, the authors used a qualitative descriptive research method. Furthermore, the authors use the method of documentation & observation. The data obtained were analyzed by framing the Zhongdang Pan & Gerald M. Kosicki model, namely knowing the meaning or symbol of a news story. Furthermore, the author explains the framing of Detikhot.com & Tempo.com which is related to Baim Wong scolding a grandfather named Suhud, namely Detikhot's syntax tends to preach conceptually in revealing a reality for Baim Wong's Action to scold a grandfather.     The case of abuse by the child of an official at the Directorate General of Taxes, Mario Dandy, against David Ozora has often been in the public spotlight. This case drew social criticism launched by the public against state officials through various media, including new media. Submission of social criticism through new media is carried out by the Mendoan podcast on Spotify. One of the episodes, namely “Instead of Stepping on Adults Instead of Stepping on Gulune Wong”, Mendoan's podcast carries out social criticism of the abuse case by Mario Dandy. The author conducted an analysis of the podcast episode as a research subject using the digital discourse analysis method which pays attention to four things, namely text, context, action and interaction, as well as ideology and power. The writer finds that the text of the episode is thick with social criticism, especially explanations and reactions to the Mario Dandy case, taxation issues, rich people's children, and big motorbike users. The context of the podcast which consists of Mendoan's background as an Indonesian citizen, a taxpayer, originally from East Java, a former radio announcer, and a comedian demonstrates his competence in conducting social criticism. Through Twitter, actions and interactions outside the podcast also show satire, annoyance, and even criticism that contains criticism. Podcast's ideology and power through its character as new media without abandoning its function as a development from conventional media has an impact on social justice while at the same time accommodating the opinions of various groups of people

    Dynamically Reconfigurable Fault-Tolerant Design of r-VEX Softcore Processor

    Over the past many years, technology scaling has resulted in a continuous reduction of lateral and vertical dimensions of transistors. The technology scaling, on the one hand, has led to a commensurate performance gain for very-large-scale integration (VLSI) circuits, but on the other hand, has also made such circuits more vulnerable to ionizing radiations which can cause single event effects(SEEs). These SEEs may cause the underlying user circuitry to deviate from its normal behavior. Devices that are destined for space missions need special protection for such kind of anomalies as space environment is filled with massive amount of high energy particles and ionizing radiations. In this thesis, the design, implementation, and verification of a fault-tolerant r-VEX, a softcore processor, is presented, so that it could be used as an attractive alternative to expensive radiation-hardened processors for space-based applications. r-VEX is a VLIW based, dynamically reconfigurable processor. Keeping in line with its inherent attribute, a dynamically reconfigurable fault-tolerant mode is presented in this work, which provides the running application an option to activate and deactivate the fault-tolerant mode multiple times. In this mode, for the protection of processor pipeline, a non-traditional TMR approach that requires 3 lanegroups running in 2-way mode is implemented. For the reliability of user memories, Hamming codes are implemented as an ECC coding scheme. The functionally of our fault-tolerant design is verified by using both a simulation-based platform (ModelSim) and an on-board FPGA platform (ML605 development kit). To measure the fault-tolerant capabilities of the r-VEX core, saboteurs are used to artificially inject faults at various predefined locations in the core. The obtained results have shown that our design can mitigate all injected single faults in the pipeline and double faults in the caches, without triggering any failure. The dynamically configurable fault-tolerant feature is obtained at the cost of about 30% additional resource utilization and 20% reduction in the maximum operating frequency

    Non-destructive testing (NDT) is a technique used to analyse the internal and external features of a part without causing any damage to it. There are wide varieties of NDT methods being practiced in the different engineering fields and for this project, we will be investigating mainly on Computed Tomography (CT) scanning and the experiment of Archimedes’ Principle. In contrast to other NDT scanning methods, CT scan is capable of scanning and reconstructing the scanned image into a full 3D image with all the internal and external features of the part. Hence, it helps to reveal any defects or porosities that maybe present in it. For this project, the author will be investigating on the accuracy of a CT scan machine; Nikon XTH225ST. A comparison will be made based on the results obtained between Archimedes’ Principle and CT scan and the author is interested to find out what is the deviation of the CT Scanning machine capabilities as compared to the theoretical results. Therefore, for this project, 3D printed specimens with different percentages and sizes of designed porosities will be used for analysis.     According to one estimate, about 40 percent of the driving population will be over the age of 60by the year 2020 in the UK and currently, several hundred thousand drivers with dementia holddriving licenses. The number of motor vehicle crashes per unit distance of automobile travel is“U”-shaped, with risk increasing slightly between the ages of 55 and 60, but risk increasing witheach successive five-year interval. Some individuals who have mild dementia possess sufficientdriving skills to be designated as fit drivers. The most challenging assessment and decision for thephysician/licensing authority as regards fitness to drive lies in drivers who are questionablydemented or are in a state of very mild dementia.In the absence of a reliable standard protocol, some clinicians make judgment based on selfreporting,which has risks associated with it as lack of insight and judgment are potential commontraits of the population experiencing cognitive decline. Seldom is recourse made by healthprofessionals to on-road assessment as a first alternative as it requires a fee and such testingcenters are not readily available everywhere. This research addresses this issue of theidentification of cognitive tests that can be used to assess an individual’s ability to drive andespecially of those individuals that are questionably demented and are the most difficult toidentify. A younger and an older group consisting of 56 drivers in total were administered ninedifferent cognitive tests and two drives (Drive-I and Drive-II) on the STISIM driving simulator.The cognitive test ufov3 (involving the identification of a central target and simultaneously theradial localization of a peripheral target embedded in distracter triangles), which is the thirdsubtest of the UFOV (Useful Field of View) test showed the highest discriminating ability inseparating “poor-drivers” from “not-poor-drivers”, with 92.86 % of the drivers correctlyclassified. The next best discriminating ability in decreasing order of strength was that of dichoticlistening test, trail making test, rey-copy test and paper folding test. Also, age was found to be anexcellent discriminator of “poor-drivers” and “not-poor-drivers” with 91.07 % of the driverscorrectly classified. A composite cognitive measure consisting of the sum of all nine cognitivetests was not a better predictor than the ufov3 test alone; overall it was still an excellentdiscriminator, classifying 89.29 % of drivers correctly. The commonly recommended ClockDrawing test and the Trail Making test did not emerge as significant predictors of driving ability.A general driving skills linear model for prediction purposes was derived that explained 59 % ofthe variation in a general driving performance index with the ufov3 test, the dichotic listening testand the rey-recall test as significant predictors. Recommendations are made as to how this testshould be used to screen potentially at risk drivers

The disease causes telangiectasias and exudates and can lead to reduced visual acuity and, in later stages, retinal detachment. Treatment has traditionally involved ablation and surgery, and more recently, intra ocular antiVEGF agents and steroids have been used. We are doing a literature review of studies describing treatments of paediatric Stage 1-3b Coats disease to explore potential for newer treatments potentially leading to improved visual acuity outcomes. What has been done so far: At the time of writing (04/02/21), database searches have been carried out as described in the Methodology section to retrieve studies published until May 2020. Two authors have independently checked the list of retrieved studies to ensure that all have been appropriately included or excluded according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria as listed below. Additionally, and one author has coded the data from retrieved studies, has assessed quality of retrieved studies using the JBI assessment tool for case series, and has carried out preliminary pooled analyses and narrative synthesis as described in the analytic strategy section. A second author is in the process of independently extracting data and assessing quality from these studies. What there is yet to do: A final search (of articles published since May 2020) and final analysis of all included studies is yet to be done. At least two authors will check the results of this search to ensure all papers fitting inclusion criteria are included. At least two authors will also independently assess quality of the papers using the JBI tool and extract data from papers retrieved in this final search. After independent coding of extracted data and independent coding of quality of included studies is complete, authors will discuss their independent coding of the data and of quality and disagreements will be resolved by consensus. After the final search and the final decision on coding and which studies to include, analysis will be conducted as described in the analytic strategy section. Methodology Search Strategy: Searching Medline and EMBASE databases using “Coat’s Disease”, “Coats’ Disease”, and “Coats Disease” (no year of publication restrictions) Study inclusion criteria: published in a peer-reviewed journal; describes observational or interventional trials focussing Coats disease treatment; includes more than three paediatric participants with up to Stage 3b disease, for whom study findings could be distinguished from other patients described. Exclusion criteria: Articles written in a language other than English; case reports, letters, conference abstracts, commentaries, review articles, studies where it was not possibly to differentiate results from paediatric patients with up to Stage 3b Coats disease from those of other patients. Data collection: The following will be collected from included studies: study year, study country, study design, outcomes of the study, treatment methods used, best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) pre- and post-treatment, follow-up time, age of patients, and gender of patients. The BCVA measures will be used to calculate the primary outcome (whether visual acuity improved after treatment). Quality assessment: The Joanna Biggs Institute checklist for case series will be used to assess quality of included studies (https://joannabriggs.org/sites/default/files/2020-08/Checklist_for_Case_Series.pdf) Analytic strategy: 1) A narrative review of descriptions of Coats Disease treatments described in all studies retrieved that fit the eligibility criteria. 2) A pooled analysis of the proportion of times patients who were given different classes of treatments (antiVEGF, steroids, or treatment that did not involve either of these) experienced improved visual acuity at the final follow-up compared to the first documented measurement. As most of the studies in this field are case series, standard meta-analysis techniques for assessment of randomised trials are not appropriate here. A random effects model will be used to assess proportions of visual acuity improvement according to stage of disease (1, 2a, 2b, 3a, or 3b) and to treatment category. The Freeman-Tukey double arcsine transformation(2) will be used to stabilise the variance in the proportions before study results are pooled.
