"New reality" in the early Work of Đuro Griesbach (1927-1939.)
U ovom prilogu obuhvaćeni su rani radovi nastali od 1927. do 1939.Đuro Griesbach, born in Mitrovica in 1911, began his career as a photographer in 1928 with the photograph of the wounded Stjepan Radić on his return to Zagreb. His work was most profoundly influenced by the idea of new reality (neue sachlichkeit), with which he became acquainted at its very source, in Berlin in 1929, during his studies. The New Reality movement focuses on photography and its forms, which can be transferred from reality without any subsequent artistic intervention, by purely photographic means: the choice of motive, cutting, angle, lighting, levels, sequences. In the interpretation of (the) new reality (the conception or objectivity) with its primacy of form, everything becomes a worthy motive. A growing interest in Japanese photographers, in reproducing and analysing their work, had a significant influence on the conception of pure photogenicity and minimalism of motive, which led photography towards the abstract picture. The work of Đuro Griesbach sprang from within these coordinates, and the above considerations were the main source of ideas and creative strategy for his photography. He himself called the photography a new palette.
The author analyses the early works of Đuro Criesbach done between 1927 and 1935 in Zagreb, and between 1935 and 1939 in Dubrovnik, within the above framework
The Castle Fortress of Florian Gryspek of Griesbach in Kaceřov
The Castle Fortress of Florian Gryspek of Griesbach in Kaceřov The thesis is focused on the fortification of the Renaissance chateau and its inclusion into the cultural and historical context. The theme is follow up of author's previous thesis which was focus on the architecture and history of Kaceřov. It was described the bastion fortification based on the iconographic documentation. A separate part of the thesis was focused on present form fortifications. There were summarized the possible reasons why Florian Griespek invested into the extensive defense of the representative residence. The author linked the modernization of fortifications in middle Europe with Turkish raids (first half of the 16th century). The author is trying to do fully recapitulation of the historical development of the bastion fortification in Italy and the gradual transformation of individual component into Central Europe after summarizing the literature. It was paid attention to military architects and their literary activity. Based on the Renaissance literature the author focused on the fortifications of Sebastiano Serlio and Francesco di Giorgio, who published the Trattato di architettura civile e militare (after 1482). There were new developments in fortress construction at the end of the late Gothic. The desire for innovation..
Book embeddings of k-framed graphs and k-map graphs
An embedding of a graph in a book, called book embedding, consists of a linear ordering of its vertices along the spine of the book and an assignment of its edges to the pages of the book, so that no two edges on the same page cross. The book thickness of a graph is the minimum number of pages over all its book embeddings. For planar graphs, a fundamental result is due to Yannakakis, who proposed an algorithm to compute embeddings of planar graphs in books with four pages. Our main contribution is a technique that generalizes this result to a much wider family of nonplanar graphs, namely to k-map graphs. In fact, our technique can deal with any nonplanar graph having a biconnected skeleton of crossingfree edges whose faces have bounded degree. We prove that this family of graphs has book thickness bounded in k, and as a corollary, we obtain the first constant upper bound for the book thickness of optimal 2-planar graphs. Briefe von Dunkelmännern =: Epistolae obscurorum virorum : an Magister Ortuin Gratius aus Deventer, Professor der schönen Wissenschaften zu Cöln /
Authorship of the Epistolae formerly attributed to Rouchlin, Erasmus, Hutten and others. More recent research has made it almost certain that Crotus Rubeanus and Ulrich von Hutten were the main contributors. To Crotus are credited the first 41 letters; to Hutten the 7 letters added later to the original series and most of the letters of the second series, with the possible co-operation of a third person, Hermann von dem Busche. The authorship of the rest remains doubtful.Mode of access: Internet

Inter-Calibration of the RapidEye Sensors with Landsat 8, Sentinel and SPOT
RapidEye is a constellation of 5 identical remote sensing satellites imaging up to 6 mio. sqkm. of the earth surface every day. Among others important application fields of the satellite data are forestry and agriculture. The inter-calibration of the five RapidEye satellites is achieved with a statistical approach supported by vicarious absolute calibration.
The data analysis for forestry and agricultural applications sometimes requires an even better temporal resolution of remote sensing data than available from a single satellite system like RapidEye despite it\u27s very high imaging capacity and repetition rate. As the relative spectral response curves of systems like Landsat 8, Sentinel 2, SPOT and RapidEye differ to some extent the data of these different sensors need to be cross calibrated to a common standard before they can be used together within such individual applications. Although cross calibration between different sensors is limited regarding its achievable accuracy due to different reflectance properties of the surface and also due to changing atmospheric conditions, it is a mandatory precondition to minimize potential differences due to sensor effects.
This presentation shows the results of the performed analysis and the determined surface dependent spectral band adjustment factors for the different sensors and is additionally showcasing the improvements in a forestry application which was achieved by the application of spectral band adjustment factors
"Situation" - new ethical model?
Starting from the statement, since momentary war's happenings have led to cosiderable increase of activlty according to the principles of ethics of situatlon on our tracts, the author returns in the recent past and gives short historical-theological review of morally-theological phenomenon known under the name "ethics of situation" or" new morality". After he explained the concept of the ethics of situation in its radical form, makes use in this with that what about it, in the context of verdict of such ethics, tell Pius XII and st. Office, the author shows reflects of some theologians, whose names more or less are connected with the morally-theological discussion about ethics of situation. So, men of radical situation are mentioned as catholics E. Michel and T. Steinbuchel, then protestants K. Barth, E. Griesbach, E. Brunner and others, but also those with moderate viewpoints of I. Fuchs, K. Rahner, and B. Harlng. At the end of this review the author pleades for a christian acceptable ethics of
situation, which will enable that in a morally action to realize the har-
monious synthesis of universal norm and subjectlve reality, based on
Christ as center and mature christian and human personality
Is rewritten Bible/Scripture the solution to the Synoptic Problem?
New Testament scholars have for centuries posited different solutions to the Synoptic Problem. Recently a new solution was proposed. Mogens Müller applies Geza Vermes’s term rewritten Bible to the canonical gospels. Accepting Markan priority, he views Matthew as rewritten Mark, Luke as rewritten Matthew, and John as additional source. This article examines Müller’s hypothesis by first investigating the history of the controversial term rewritten Bible/Scripture and its recent application to the New Testament Gospels. Müller’s hypothesis is then compared to other solutions to the Synoptic Problem, such as the Augustine, Griesbach, and Farrer-Goulder Hypotheses. The Two Document Hypothesis is discussed and Müller’s 2nd century Luke theory is compared to Burton Mack’s almost similar stance and tested with the argument of synoptic intertextuality in view of the possible but improbable early second century date for Matthew. Lastly, the relationship between the synoptic Gospels is viewed in terms of literary intertextuality. Müller suggests proclamation as motivation for the Gospels’ deliberate intertextual character. This notion is combined with the concept of intertextuality to suggest a more suitable explanation for the relationship between die Gospels, namely intertextual kerugma. This broad concept includes any form of intertextuality in terms of text and context regarding the author and readers. It suitably replaces rewritten Bible, both in reference to genre and textual (exegetical) strategy
