Video Conference telah banyak digunakan dalam kehidupan. Misalnya untk bisnis, pendidikan, militer dan keperluan lain sebagainya. Dalam bidang pendidikan, Video Conference dapat dilakukan untk keperluan pendidikan jarak jauh. Selain dapat dilakukan untuk pendidikan jarak jauh, Video Conference dapat digunakan untuk rapat dengan Universias- Universitas di kota lain. Maka dari itu Universitas Bandar Lampung tergabung dengan INHERENT (Indonesia Higher Education Network) untuk mengikuti acara video coneference . jaringan INHERENT ini adalah jaringan komunikasi tertutup antar perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Untuk dapat melakukan konerensi INHERENT , dapat mengakses Ke dalam MCU (Multipoint Control Unit) dengan DIKTI sebagai network center. Kegiatan INHERENT menggunakan Video Conference Polycom VSX 7000, sebuah fasilitas yang diperoleh dari hibah INHERENT tahun 2007 oleh DIKTI. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengukur kesesuaian Video Conference Polycom VSX 7000 dengan standarisasi ITU (International Telecmmunication Union)
Hunting Happy Families
No full textCityhunter developed the idea of transforming their card game, Hunting Happy Families, into a game that can be played on tablets in a same manner that their other game, Hunt the Hunter, can be played. The aim of this project is to develop a game that can be played in Schiedam on an Android platform. An additional requirement is that the game can be adapted after the project is finished. That is, the client must be able to add new card sets and new locations through an interface without having to make changes in the codebase. Another part of this project includes a gamemaster interface, in which one person can keep track of all teams in a game, including their cards, points, locations and chat messages. Lastly, a server was created for storing and sending information between teams and the game master. This report defines the standard game play of a game of Hunting Happy Families. The main goal of the game is to learn about the history of the city of Schiedam. By walking around, teams can collect cards from other players, and identify locations associated with the various sets to try and gather as many points as possible. The team with the most points at the end of the game, wins. The system features a server connecting the teams and the game master using a string message system and lambda functions. Upon sending a message using this system, the server handles the requested data, and answers the request by forwarding the provided information, or relaying the information requested. The system was thoroughly field tested, including a playtest with external players. The verdict on the game by these players is positive, though the system needs a slight amount of fine tuning to ensure the best experience. Happy: Cancer Prevention Using Smartphones
No full textAbstractTobacco and alcohol consumption, excessive sun exposure and lack of physical exercise are important risk factors for cancer. In fact, more than half of cancer cases are due to wrong behavioural options; if everyone adopted a healthier lifestyle, cancer incidence would fall dramatically. Information campaigns are critical to raise cancer awareness but they simply are not enough to promote behaviour change.The main purpose of the work presented in this paper is to develop a smartphone app, capable of inducing behaviour changes on individuals. A cancer prevention app called Happy was designed and is currently being tested. Preliminary results from a feasibility study show that Happy might be an effective health promotion app, capable of persuading users to change their behaviour towards cancer prevention
