A educação física em uma escola estadual de Minas Gerais: uma análise da gestão pedagógica
No full textThis work was developed within the scope of the Professional Master's Degree in
Management and Evaluation of Public Education (PPGP) of the Center for Public
Policies and Evaluation of Education of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora
(CAEd/UFJF). The case study sought to investigate the management problems faced
in the daily life of a state school in Minas Gerais, associated with the Physical
Education (PE) curricular component, covering interdisciplinary issues, internal and
external projects to the school unit. In the context of the researcher's work, it was
noted that the execution of extracurricular educational projects, carried out between
the years 2022 and 2024, presented gaps related to pedagogical planning. The
recurrence of these divergences pointed to the misalignment of pedagogical actions
related to the Physical Education curricular component. Based on this scenario, this
research had as its main objective to understand how school management practices,
related to pedagogical management, influenced the development of extracurricular
activities related to Physical Education. Therefore, the following guiding question was
proposed for this research: how do the actions of the management of the D. Leiva
Nunes Silva State School (EELNS), in its pedagogical dimension, influence the
planning of Physical Education with regard to projects and extracurricular activities?
To answer this question, the following objectives were defined: to describe the
pedagogical management of EELNS, highlighting the process of planning
extracurricular activities, emphasizing Physical Education; to analyze how the
practices and organization of pedagogical work impacted the development of
activities, projects and interdisciplinary actions related to Physical Education at
EELNS; to propose actions aimed at improving management practices with a focus
on improving pedagogical work involving Physical Education at EELNS. This
qualitative investigation employed documentary research, literature review and semistructured interviews with the principal, vice-principal, pedagogical coordinators and
Physical Education teachers. The curricular documents Base Nacional Comum
Curricular (BNCC) and Currículo Referência de Minas Gerais (CRMG), studies that
address democratic school management, pedagogical management, and studies that
portray the history and current context of Physical Education were used as technical
support. The findings of this research indicated that pedagogical managers, by not
including PE teachers in the structuring of projects, distance school knowledge from
extracurricular action, reducing its pedagogical meaning. In view of this, an
Educational Action Plan (PAE) was developed, with alternatives aimed at the
pedagogical management of the school wich promote reflection on the action and
integration of curricular components in extracurricular activities. We also included in
this proposal a structure for reviewing the Pedagogical Political Project (PPP).O presente trabalho foi desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado Profissional em Gestão
e Avaliação da Educação Pública (PPGP), do Centro de Políticas Públicas e
Avaliação da Educação da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora (CAEd/UFJF). O
estudo de caso busca investigar os problemas de gestão enfrentados no cotidiano
de uma escola estadual de Minas Gerais, associados ao componente curricular
Educação Física (EF), perpassando as questões interdisciplinares, projetos internos
e externos à unidade escolar. No contexto de atuação da pesquisadora, notamos
que a execução dos projetos educacionais extracurriculares, executados entre os
anos 2022 e 2024, apresentou lacunas relativas ao planejamento pedagógico. A
recorrência dessas intempéries apontou o desalinhamento das ações pedagógicas
relacionadas ao componente curricular Educação Física. A partir desse cenário, esta
pesquisa tem como objetivo central entender como as práticas da gestão escolar,
relativas à gestão pedagógica, influenciaram o desenvolvimento das atividades
extracurriculares tocantes à Educação Física. Isso posto, propomos a seguinte
questão norteadora para esta pesquisa: como as ações da gestão da Escola
Estadual D. Leiva Nunes Silva (EELNS), em sua dimensão pedagógica, influenciam
o planejamento da Educação Física no que diz respeito aos projetos e atividades
extracurriculares? Para responder tal questão, são definidos os seguintes objetivos:
descrever a gestão pedagógica da EELNS, destacando o processo de planejamento
das atividades extracurriculares, com ênfase na Educação Física; analisar de que
maneira as práticas e a organização do trabalho pedagógico impactam o
desenvolvimento das atividades, projetos e ações interdisciplinares relacionadas à
Educação Física na EELNS; propor ações que visem ao aprimoramento das práticas
de gestão com enfoque na melhoria do trabalho pedagógico que envolve a
Educação Física na EELNS. Nesta investigação qualitativa, foram empregadas a
pesquisa documental, a revisão de literatura e a entrevista semiestruturada com o
diretor, vice-diretor, coordenadores pedagógicos e professores de Educação Física.
Utilizamos como suporte técnico os documentos curriculares da Base Nacional
Comum Curricular (BNCC) e o Currículo Referência de Minas Gerais (CRMG);
estudos que abordam a gestão escolar democrática, gestão pedagógica; e estudos
que retratam a história e o contexto atual da Educação Física. Os achados desta
pesquisa apontam que os gestores pedagógicos, ao não incluírem os professores de
EF na estruturação dos projetos, distanciam os conhecimentos escolares da ação
extracurricular, reduzindo-lhes o significado pedagógico. Diante disso, foi elaborado
um Plano de Ação Educacional (PAE), com alternativas voltadas à gestão
pedagógica da escola, que promovam a reflexão sobre a ação e integração dos
componentes curriculares nas atividades extracurriculares. Também inserimos nessa
proposta uma estrutura de revisão do Projeto Político-Pedagógico (PPP)
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
