No full textThere is an extensive debate concerning the best approach to analyse the relationships into the "chain", and the problem of the information availability which should provide a clear identification of the object of analysis is not yet solved. This is true in particular with regard to the agri-food system.
This study aims to underline that the incompatibility between analytical level of information and the theoretical construct of reference is often problematic for the studies of the agri-food system. Moreover this study highlights that the concept of system borrowed by the General System Theory (von Bertalanffy, 1968) and by Malassis (Malassis, 1973; 1979), is an approach able to design and to analyse the agri-food network.
The representation of the system as a net oriented relationships is a tool capable of recognising the subjects involved into the network and also the functional relationships among them
Literature review on the perception of agro-foods quality cues in the international environment
No full textConsumers look for the highest affordable food quality, given their household budgets and perceptions of product quality. Such perception is however strictly related to culturally linked variables, and the importance attached to each component of the overall quality vary greatly among countries. Different perceptions lead to different purchase decisions. This concept is even clearer for the aspects of quality that can’t be tested directly.
Consumer goods may be divided into search, experience and credence goods, depending on when the consumer is capable of assessing their quality (before buying, after consuming or in the very long term). Most quality agro-food products, such as food with geographical indications (GIs) and low input food (LIFs), fall into the credence good category.
The aim of this paper is to point out how much attention is currently paid in literature (both scientific and popular: articles, papers, reports, marketing studies etc.) to the evaluation of the perceived value of such credence goods attributes for the quality food sector, and which relationships are mainly explored.
A special attention will be paid to the situation in China

No full textLa riforma costituzionale del febbraio 2022 potrebbe svolgere un importante ruolo nei confronti della legislazione relativa ai migranti e ai rifugiati. Nel presente saggio, partendo da tali status, si presterà particolare attenzione alla lacuna normativa intorno ai migranti ambientali, categoria che più di ogni altra permette di comprendere le interconnessioni tra i fenomeni trattati. Si argomenterà che, ampliando lo sguardo nello spazio e nel tempo, è possibile concepire la persona migrante in modo alternativo alla narrazione comune, la quale risulta schiacciata sul presente e sulla regolazione. In questo modo, si sottovaluta non solo la complessità del fenomeno ma si delinea anche un quadro normativo disarticolato. Si rivela una priorità riuscire a mettere le persone in condizione di esercitare i propri diritti. In linea con questo, è fondamentale istituire dei meccanismi di garanzia. Si profilano due tipi di obblighi, uno legale e uno etico, concernenti sia la tutela dell’ambiente sia le migrazioni: il dovere di pensare e progettare il futuro con un approccio strutturale che permetta di assicurare nel futuro l’esistenza di un ambiente e di un’umanità degni di tale nome.The constitutional reform adopted in February 2022 could play an important role for the legislation relating to migrants and refugees. In this essay, starting from these two conditions, particular attention will be paid to the regulatory gap around environmental migrants, a category that more than others allows us to understand the interconnections between the treated phenomena. It will be argued that, expanding the view in space and time, it is possible to conceive a migrant in an alternative way to the common narration, which is crushed on the present and on regulation. In this way, not only the complexity of the phenomenon is underestimated but also a disjointed regulatory framework is outlined. Putting people in a position to exercise their rights is a priority. In line with this, it is essential to set up specific guarantee mechanisms. Two types of obligations arise, one legal and one ethical, concerning both the protection of the environment and migration: the duty to think and plan the future with a structural approach that makes it possible to ensure the existence of an environment and a humanity worthy of the name
