No full textThe Catholic Church went through a series of institutional changes between the coup d’état of 1955 and 1976. Changes that appeared since the 1950s were reoriented by the reforms of the Second Vatican Council. This process, under a climate of increasing violence and political instability, had conflicting moments.It is the intention of this article to approach the process from a diocesan perspective, observing the different ecclesiastical agendas and relationships, institutional changes and interactions between bishop, priests and laty in a diocese that sought to implement the Council’s reforms and in which there was no conflict between hierarchy and clergy.La iglesia católica atravesó una serie de cambios institucionales entre los golpes de Estado de 1955 y 1976. Cambios que asomaban desde la década de 1950, fueron reorientados por las reformas del Concilio Vaticano II. Este proceso, bajo un clima de creciente violencia e inestabilidad política, tuvo momentos conflictivos. Es la intención del presente artículo abordar el proceso desde una perspectiva diocesana, observando las diferentes agendas eclesiásticas y las relaciones, cambios institucionales e interacciones entre obispo, sacerdotes y laicado en una diócesis que pretendió aplicar las reformas del Concilio y en las cuales no hubo conflicto entre jerarquía y clero

No full textEste artículo describe el proceso de unificación y nacionalización de dos universidades en Mar del Plata, la Universidad Provincial y la Universidad Católica de Mar del Plata (UCSM), durante la década de 1970. Agotado el modelo de cooperación desarrollista entre Estado e Iglesia gestado durante la década de 1960, el nuevo ciclo político se entrecruzó con la crisis financiera de la universidad católica diocesana, cuyas carreras fueron progresivamente incorporadas a la universidad estatal. El recambio de autoridades en ambas casas de estudios durante la primavera camporista dio forma a un acuerdo para la conformación de una nueva universidad nacional, a partir de la integración de las dos instituciones. El tempo de la interna peronista, y la intención de las nuevas autoridades de la Universidad Provincial de fijar condiciones durante 1974, fue reconfigurando ese acuerdo, que fue absorbido por el lenguaje de la violencia política hacia 1975. No full textThis article describes the process of unification and nationalization of two universities in Mar del Plata, the Universidad Provincial and the Universidad Católica “Stella Maris” (UCSM), during the 1970s. With the cooperative developmental model between the State and the Church exhausted by the 1960s, the new political cycle intersected with the financial crisis of the diocesan Catholic university, whose programs were progressively incorporated into the state university.
The change of authorities in both educational institutions during the “camporista spring” shaped an agreement for the formation of a new national university, through the integration of the two institutions. The “tempo” of the peronist internal strife, and the intention of the new authorities of the Universidad Provincial to establish conditions during 1974, gradually reshaped that agreement, which was absorbed by the language of political violence around 1975.Este artículo describe el proceso de unificación y nacionalización de dos universidades en Mar del Plata, la Universidad Provincial y la Universidad Católica de Mar del Plata (UCSM), durante la década de 1970. counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
