The attention of the author is focused on the relationship between Cybele and Apollo
on a votive altar found in the territory of the ancient Celeia. The presence of symbols
referring both to the anatolian goddess and to the oracular deity on the sides of the
monument was considered from scholars as an evidence of a symbiosis between these
particular healing deities. However, the lack of close comparisons for this exclusive
association with respect to other figurative documents in the roman world leads to a
review of the monument. The considering of the altar from a different prospective and
the research of connection between metroac and apollonian cult on an historical level
suggest an alternative interpretation for the presence of tripod and other symbols of
Apollo on the altar
OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA AS A RISK FACTOR FOR WAKE-UP STROKE: A CASE REPORT : Apnéia obstrutiva do sono como fator de risco para Wake-Up Stroke: Relato de Caso
Introduction: Wake-up Stroke (WUS) is characterized by the onset of symptoms during sleep, with an unknown exact time of onset, making thrombolytic treatment challenging. Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is considered an independent risk factor for stroke. This case report discusses a WUS episode in a patient with a history of sleep disorder.
Methods: A retrospective, observational, and analytical study in the form of a case report, using information from the patient and physical medical records, conducted at tertiary hospital in southwest Paraná, Brazil.
Case Description: A 74-year-old female patient with grade I obesity, systemic arterial hypertension, atrial flutter, and obstructive sleep disorder was admitted after waking up with a neurological deficit, having gone to bed asymptomatic. She presented with right-sided hemiplegia, aphasia, and confusion. Upon admission, a brain CT scan showed no evidence of ischemic lesions. The patient was managed clinically, without thrombolytic administration. After seven days, a new CT scan revealed hypodense lesions in the lenticulocapsular region and the left frontal lobe. Four weeks after the episode, there was significant improvement in deficits, with mild right-sided motor weakness and persistence of anomic aphasia.
Conclusion: Recognizing OSA as a risk factor for WUS reinforces the need for early diagnosis and proper management of sleep-related breathing disorders in patients at risk of cerebrovascular events. Extending the thrombolysis window, based on advanced neuroimaging, may redefine the management of WUS and reduce the global impact of stroke

A Biblioteconomia e a Educação Ambiental
This research consists of an analysis between two areas of knowledge: Librarianship and Environmental Education. The Newton Moreno´s poetry and pplitics: A case study of Agreste and The Scar is the Flower
This project proposes to analyze the written works The Scar is the Flower and Agreste, both of the Brazilian playwright Newton Moreno, with the purpose of better understanding the limits of the drama related to the epic and lyrical form in the theater, having as main focus the theater itself with the lyrical genre. Parallel to this, we intend to analyze the political reasoning of these plays, identifying the social issues they deal with through lyricism and the subjective view of the author, which lends the look of homosexual women in conflict with our homophobic and male chauvinist social context. The aforementioned analyzes, in parallel, seek to investigate the possible nexus that may occur between lyrical theater and political theater

This work investigates the performative potential of light within the context of urban interventions based on the poetics of different Brazilian theatre and visual artists. The research proposes an approximation between these two artistic fields having as a support the work of two fundamental theoretical references: Goethe and Hélio Oiticica. In this perspective, some urban interventions created by the author in São Paulo, between 2005 and 2008, were revisited. In the attempt of establishing relations with the researched artists the project develops itself also in a practical dimension, which results in a new proposal of urban intervention in São Paulo

Anorexia Nervosa is a rapidly growing problem in our society and yet still very little is known about it. It affects primarily young girls and can be fatal. Very few people are well informed about the early symptoms of the disease such as concerns about weight, deprivation of nourishment, excessive exercise and an unrealistic body image. The early symptoms can be misinterpreted or overlooked by a society which equates beauty with being thin. Taking these perspectives into consideration, the author has designed this preventive program for adolescents in order to reduce the incidence of anorexia nervosa by increasing awareness among the adolescent population and those close to them. This project is designed to be one of easy implementation by Mental Health professional so that more people have an understanding of the disease.Includes bibliographical references (leaves 29-30)California State University, Northridge.
