The dissertation introduces the art performance by Miroslav Hornicek. It reflects the collage creation which Miroslav Hornicek devoted more than twenty years. The author introduced the gift of improvisation and humor into his collage. Many of them look like graphic, some of them remind the theater scene. He often repeats the same motive such as eye, sisters, theatrical costumes, sculptures, senses and body organs. It is interesting that despite his work he did not consider himself like the artist. He created many collage, he found inspiration in the creation of Max Ernst, Toyen, Jindrich Styrsky and Jiri Kolar. In relating with Jiri Kolar it is possible to search a certain similarity. From the poet became the artist, collage maker. Miroslav Hornicek was primarily the actor who has also found a way of life in creating collages. Miroslav Hornicek wrote to some of his collages names and interpretations. This material is very important for trying to understand his theater scenes and a tangle of something "incomprehensible", because of collages effect on the viewer. Finally, the dissertation aims to look at his art creation as a whole, highlight the exhibition activity and introduce Miroslav Hornicek not only as the actor, writer, dramatist, director and also the artist with an incredible imagination..

Although the field of editing and dramaturgy of the films is abundantly mapped in theoretical texts, the film editing profession is often neglected. A notable example of a neglected "genius of film editing" is a Czech editor Miroslav Hájek. Miroslav Hájek is the author of editing of more than 400 films from the period beginning with the Czech post-war film and stretching until late normalization era. The thesis deals with the institutional context of the editing profession and tries to briefly map the life of Miroslav Hájek. The editing style and the quality of Hájek's editing are shown in the analysis of the previously banned film Squandered Sunday. The work is complemented by an interview with Drahomíra Vihanova, who completes the topic of my thesis in her own distinctive way.Ateliér Audioviz

Carnival with the dead Miroslav Krleža: KraljevoKraljevo, a one-act play written by Miroslav Krleža in 1915, is a representation of “carnival” events accompanying a church fair day in the cathedral of St. Stephen in Zagreb. Among the participants of the fair party, are the suicides condemned to eternal wandering between the worlds of the dead and of the living. The article’s goal is to reflect on the function of death’s anthropomorphization in the expressionistic image of Zagreb society. Krleža exposes how loftiness is replaced with base erotic instincts, and reveals that when society is immersed in medieval rituals, what results is a cannibalistic vision of nonreality of hell, which serves to render Zagreb at the beginning of the 20th century. The author’s carnival with the dead reverses values, orders, and hierarchies, and undermines at least three essential components of identification: ludic tradition derived from local folklore, Catholic pathos, and Croatian patriotism. Carnival with the dead Miroslav Krleža: KraljevoKraljevo, a one-act play written by Miroslav Krleža in 1915, is a representation of “carnival” events accompanying a church fair day in the cathedral of St. Stephen in Zagreb.
