What are disruptors doing? Understanding entrepreneurial practices on disruptive innovations
No full textDespite the growing importance of disruptive innovation, literature still lacks conversations on the entrant perspective, especially those addressing the effort at early stages to cause disruption. Prior research reveals that disruptive innovation follows a trajectory composed of three phases, but the fastest entrants' growth occurs during the first two phases. In these stages, the rate on which new entrants develop and launch product and services increase drastically. Considering that disruption occurs during this period, this study explores the entrepreneurial practices that new entrants use to accelerate their innovation processes to cause disruption. To analyze them, we use a three-tier framework that emerged from entrepreneurship research. The framework decomposes entrepreneurial methods into logic, model, and tactics. The tactical level covers the entrepreneurial practices, which is our main concern in this study. We conducted a process research approach, identifying the entrepreneurial practices on four disruptors. Then, we reconstructed and analyzed their trajectories across 311 events. Early quantitative analysis revealed confirmation of their disruptive roadmap. Further results identify entrepreneurial practices overlaps among their journeys, recognizing mostly iterative and effectual practices behind the disruption. Additionally, we distinguish the operationalization behind the new entrants' strategies to change their innovation processes' pace to seek recognition and legitimation. What does it take to be disruptive: A literature review
No full textHow disruption occurs in established markets is broadly discussed. However, the link between entrepreneurial practices and disruptive innovation is still a nascent stream in the literature. In this paper, we consolidate publications linking both fields with a bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer® and a literature review. In this way, we aim to identify specifically which entrepreneurial practices could work together to create ventures that disrupt the market. The review reveals the influences that impact the practices over the disruption process and how the context restricts and enhances its development. The results can help managers, researchers and nascent entrepreneurs to better understand the whole process and create markets that are more competitive
Entrepreneurial resilience in times of crisis: a critical approach
No full textAs entrepreneurship is considered a solution in times of crisis, its role has been the main topic worldwide lately. Social and economic discussions debate the implications and potential opportunities that may arise from the covid-19 crisis. However, not all entrepreneurs experience positive results. Therefore, we debate if it is always possible for all to have optimistic consequences or if our notion of resilience is wrong. We explore the social construction around entrepreneurial resilience in the media by applying critical discourse analysis. We argue that discourses interpreted by newspapers gave an unrealistic image of what it means to be an entrepreneur, where the optimistic stories create a social construction of segregation combined with political nuances. Additionally, a comparison analysis shows that economic indexes do not match the journalists' positivistic view. This study contributes by challenging academics, policymakers, and journalists to question their role in society, especially in times of crisis when entrepreneurial support needs accuracy and objectivity
El Arte de Crear Sonidos con Objetos Cotidianos de un Entorno Doméstico
No full textEste proyecto investigativo consiste en explorar la posibilidad de transformar objetos comunes de un entorno doméstico en “instrumentos” para la producción de sonidos o piezas musicales. Inspirado en el arte sonoro experimental y música concreta, se examinan las propiedades acústicas de objetos como vasos, cosméticos, cajas, entre otros, con la intención de desafiar las concepciones tradicionales de la música, dándole un significado más trascendental a los objetos y demostrando que el arte es tan amplio que se puede llegar a hacer música con los objetos de una casa o de cualquier lugar. La investigación se basa en diferentes referentes, como referente principal, el pionero de la música concreta Pierre Schaeffer, quien fue el primero en ver el potencial sonoro de los objetos, creando obras con el resultado de sus experimentaciones. Seguido de Michael Nyman, Nico Kok, Nicolas Brass, Pink Floyd, Pedro Rincón y otros. Todos ellos han destacado el valor artístico de los sonidos cotidianos y la capacidad que tienen los objetos de convertirse en un “instrumento”, teniendo como resultado diversas creaciones artísticas tales como: canciones, piezas sonoras, piezas audiovisuales, etc. El objetivo principal de este proyecto es desarrollar técnicas para manipular estos objetos y generar nuevas formas de expresión musical, integrando tecnologías digitales para amplificar y procesar estos sonidos, tales como un DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) que sirve para cubrir todas las partes del proceso de la producción de la composición, desde la grabación del sonido de los objetos, hasta la postproducción de los mismos, con su respectiva reproducción y exportación. El trabajo promueve la creatividad, resignificando el entorno doméstico como una fuente rica de expresión artística, también pretende desafiar las maneras tradicionales de hacer música, trayendo consigo el replanteamiento de las personas de sus propias concepciones, creencias y limitaciones en cuanto a cómo crear música o hacer arte.This research project explores the possibility of transforming everyday household objects into "instruments" for producing sounds or musical pieces. Inspired by experimental sound art and musique concrète, it examines the acoustic properties of objects like glasses, cosmetics, boxes, and others to challenge traditional conceptions of music, imbuing objects with a more transcendent meaning and demonstrating that art is vast enough to create music with items found in any home or setting. The research draws on various references, with the main reference being Pierre Schaeffer, the pioneer of musique concrète, who was the first to recognize the sound potential of objects, creating works from his experimental findings. Other inspirations include Michael Nyman, Nico Kok, Nicolas Brass, Pink Floyd, Pedro Rincón and others. Each has highlighted the artistic value of everyday sounds and the potential of objects to become “instruments,” resulting in diverse artistic creations such as songs, sound pieces, audiovisual works, and more. The primary objective of this project is to develop techniques to manipulate these objects and generate new forms of musical expression, incorporating digital technologies to amplify and process these sounds, such as a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) that serves to cover all parts of the production process of the composition, from the recording of the sound of the objects, to their post-production, with their respective reproduction and export. This work promotes creativity by re-signifying the domestic environment as a rich source of artistic expression. It also aims to challenge traditional ways of making music, encouraging people to reconsider their own conceptions, beliefs, and limitations regarding how to create music or art.Resumen

No full textLa ética es una disciplina filosófica que ha sido estudiada por siglos, su origen etimológico se deriva de la palabra griega “ethos”, y se le ha dado diferentes definiciones a través de los años, se dice que principalmente estudia la conducta humana, lo que está bien o está mal, sin embargo en este trabajo se busca dar un enfoque de la ética aplicada específicamente a un punto de vista empresarial y responsable; Las empresas generalmente trabajan sobre principios fundamentales que aporten al mejoramiento de diferentes factores en la organización como puede ser el clima laboral, el respeto, la equidad, la responsabilidad, entre otros, con estos principios se establece una adaptación sobre cómo se manejan los asuntos en la organización.
La responsabilidad se refiere a un concepto sumamente amplio que mantiene una fuerte relación con el hecho de asumir todas aquellas acciones que son generadas por un acto de manera consciente o intencionalmente, este concepto forja el compromiso de una persona para actuar en su día a día.
Este trabajo también pretende mencionar la importante relación entre la ética empresarial y la responsabilidad empresarial y como se ha logrado a través de los años mejorar estos conceptos por medio de hechos que se han presentado a lo largo de tiempo. Among these causes, it is necessary to point out the image that the Spanish press diffused of her in the fifties and sixties, by virtue of which the republican feminist and pioneer of the teaching that the novelist incarnated was soon turned into an apolitical and melodramatic Cinderella. The work also links the neglect in which the author has fallen to her declassification process, but also to the idiosyncrasy of the Asturian creator, who, unlike established models, always knew that freedom had its price.El ensayo aborda la vida, la narrativa y el ideario de Dolores Medio a fin de exponer las causas del silenciamiento del que éstos han sido objeto hasta el momento. No full textThe paper deals with the describing of one of a syntactic connection’s manifestation, that has transitional nature between double and single types. The theoretical-methodological base of the research is the complex analysis of a sentence on the communicative, semantic-syntactic and formal-syntactic levels and, according to this, the qualification of the syntactic connection as the mediated by the semantic-syntactic level formal reflection of real connections between real things in the environment. The grammatical peculiarities and the scopes of spreading of the syntactic connection, that is transitional between the double-predicative connection and the sum of the single predicative and single subordinated ones, are characterized. The author argues the syntactic connection’s transitivity of such type depends on the syncretic syntactic function of an adjective or an adverb, that take place in its realization. The causes of such syncretism are cleared up, namely: 1) adjective’s (or substantive’s as its equivalent) in the instrumental ability to transport to the predicative scope and to the adverbial scope as well; 2) the qualitative semantic adjective’s ability to transform to adverb, saving the mean of subject’s posture or look. The mechanism of the transitional syntactic connection in the constructions of structural model S1+Vf+Adj(S)5 is explained. Their semantic-grammatical differences from sentences with depictive predicates are outlined. The transitional manifestation of the syntactic connection in the constructions of structural model S1+Vf+Adv, where an adverb is a derivative of a depictive predicate, is proved.Статтю присвячено описові однієї зі сфер функціювання синтаксичного зв’язку, що має перехідний характер між подвійним і одиничним типами. Теоретико-методологічну домінанту дослідження становить комплексний аналіз речення на комунікативному, семантико-синтаксичному та формально-синтаксичному рівнях та кваліфікація синтаксичного зв’язку як опосередкованого семантико-синтаксичним рівнем формального віддзеркалення реальних зв’язків між реальними предметами довкілля. Схарактеризовано граматичну специфіку й сфери поширення синтаксичного зв’язку, перехідного між подвійним предикативним та сумою одиничного предикативного й одиничного підрядного у формі прилягання. Аргументовано, що перехідність синтаксичного зв’язку зазначеного типу зумовлена синкретизмом синтаксичної функції ад’єктива чи адвербіатива, залучених до його реалізації. З’ясовано причини такого синкретизму, які полягають у: 1) здатності ад’єктивів (чи субстантивів як їхніх еквівалентів) у формі орудного відмінка транспонуватися як до предикативної, так і до адвербіальної сфер; 2) здатності ад’єктивів якісно-атрибутивної семантики трансформуватися у прислівники із збереженням значення стану або ознаки суб’єкта. Висвітлено механізм реалізації перехідного синтаксичного зв’язку в конструкціях структурної моделі S1+Vf+Adj(S)5 та окреслено їхні семантико-граматичні особливості порівняно з синтаксичними трійками цієї ж моделі, у яких функціює подвійний власне-предикативний синтаксичний зв’язок. Обґрунтовано перехідний вияв синтаксичного зв’язку в конструкціях структурної моделі S1+Vf+Adv, де прислівник є дериватом прикметника чи дієприкметника, здатного бути членом синтаксичної трійки структурної моделі S1+Vf+Adj1,5. Проблемы интерпретации сюжета «Преступления и наказания» Ф. М. Достоевского в текстологическом аспекте
No full textThe article is devoted to the creative history of Dostoevsky’s novel “Crime and Punishment”. It analyzes the problems of interpretation of the work, such as its plot, artistic images and ideas. The study takes into account the extensive scientific literature on the poetics of “Crime and Punishment”, as well as Christian theme as the basis of its plot. One of important aspects analyzed in the article is the diversity and inconsistency of previous research assessments of the novel, and thus fundamentally different understanding of the character of Raskolnikov and his relation to faith and God. The second aspect of the analysis is the openness of the novel’s ending and the question of the criminal’s remorse. The novel’s plot is known to receive different interpretations depending on how researchers interpret the above aspects. Of particular importance for understanding of such problems is the textual analysis of the novel’s materials (draft manuscripts, most of which are located in the author’s working notebooks). Addressing the handwritten text of the author, i.e., his “creative laboratory”, allows us to see his artistic vision and process in development, and thus to evaluate the reliability of previous research assessments of the novel. In addition, the analysis of the manuscripts of “Crime and Punishment” contributes to further elaboration of Dostoevsky’s texts: the article corrects errors made in earlier publications of handwritten texts that distort or misinterpret the meaning of the writer’s notes, and hence his ideas. Restoration of the authentic text is important to achieve adequate interpretation of the material and a more accurate understanding of artistic images, themes and motifs of Dostoevsky’s work.Статья посвящена исследованию творческой истории романа «Преступление и наказание» Достоевского. В работе анализируются проблемы интерпретации указанного произведения — романного сюжета, художественных образов и идей. В работе учитывается обширная научная литература, посвященная проблемам поэтики «Преступления и наказания», а также христианской теме как основе сюжета. Один из важных аспектов, анализируемых в статье, — разнородность и противоречивость исследовательских оценок романа «Преступление и наказание», принципиально различное понимание характера Раскольникова и отношения этого героя к вере и Богу. Второй аспект анализа — открытость финала и вопрос о раскаянии преступника. В зависимости от того, как эти вопросы решаются исследователями, то или иное толкование получает и сюжет романа в целом. Особое значение для понимания этих проблем имеет текстологический анализ материалов к роману — черновых рукописей произведения, основная часть которых сосредоточена в рабочих тетрадях Достоевского. Обращение к рукописному тексту, то есть к «творческой лаборатории» автора, позволяет увидеть художественный замысел в развитии и дает возможность оценить степень достоверности исследовательских суждений о романе. Кроме того, анализ рукописей «Преступления и наказания» способствует уточнению текста Достоевского: в статье исправлены ошибки, содержащиеся в публикациях рукописного текста и искажающие смысл авторских записей, а значит, и идей. Восстановление подлинного авторского текста важно для достижения адекватной интерпретации всего материала и более точного понимания художественных образов, тем и мотивов произведения

No full textThe purpose of this article is to identify specific ways of expressing author’s ethnic consciousness by analysing the ethno-cultural information contained in “The Song of Igor’s Campaign”, basing on the idea that the contents of this information depend on person’s socio-cultural and ethnic origins. In the article we considered main types of ethnonyms according to their origin, grammatical characteristic, and frequency of use in the work. On the basis of this analysis a conclusion about the ethnical attitude of the author to the described events is made. Ethnic differences are realized by comparing different ethnic groups, for this reason the literary analysis of the contrasting notions “Russian - Cumans”, “we - they”, “christians - pagans” performed at different levels of the text lies in the centre of the study carried out in the article.Целью данной статьи является выяснение особенностей выражения этнического сознания автора при помощи этнокультурной информации, заключенной в «Слове о полку Игореве». В статье рассматриваются основные виды этнонимов по их происхождению, грамматической характеристике, стилистической окрашенности, а также по частотности упоминания тех или иных названий народов в произведении, на основании чего делается выводы об отношении автора к описываемым событиям. Этнические различия осознаются при сопоставлении разных этносов, поэтому в центре исследования лежит литературоведческий анализ противопоставления «русские – половцы», «мы – они», «свои – чужие», «христиане – язычники», который рассматривается на разных уровнях текста.Целью данной статьи является выяснение особенностей выражения этнического сознания автора при помощи этнокультурной информации, заключенной в «Слове о полку Игореве». Метеорологический лингвокультурный код в русских говорах Одесщины
No full textIn this article phraseological units, which are grouped around meteorological linguocultural code, are investigated. On the basis of the selected phraseological material, the concepts дождь, туча, ветер, which are culturally important for regional picture of the world, are allocated. The internal form of the analyzed phraseological units is delighted. The author comes to conclusion about exceptional role of the meteorological code of linguoculture in the regional picture of Russian dialects’ careers. It is confirmed by the pronounced itemization of natural phenomena reflected in the phraseological creative work of Russian settlers. It is stated, that the linguocultural meteorological code of the Russian dialects of Odessa region as the most important fragment of extralinguistic reality was influenced by as regional as general national and interethnic picture of the world. The investigation concerns dialectology, phraseology, cognitive linguistics, linguoculturology, ethnolinguistics and linguosemiotics and can be characterized as an interdisciplinary one.В настоящей статье исследуются фразеологизмы русских говоров Одесщины, группирующиеся вокруг метеорологического лингвокультурного кода. На основе отобранного фразеологического массива выделяются культурно значимые для региональной картины мира концепты дождь, туча, ветер. Раскрывается внутренняя форма рассматриваемых фразеологических единиц. Автор приходит к выводу об исключительной важности метеорологического кода лингвокультуры в региональной картине мира русских диалектоносителей, о чём свидетельствует ярко выраженная детализация природных явлений, нашедшая своё отражение во фразеотворчестве русских переселенцев. Утверждается, что лингвокультурный метеорологический код русских говоров Одесщины как важнейший фрагмент внеязыковой действительности сформировался под влиянием как региональной, так и общенациональной и межнациональной картин мира. Исследование носит междисциплинарный характер и находится на стыке диалектологии, фразеологии, когнитивной лингвистики, лингвокультурологии, этнолингвистики и лингвосемиотики
