Digital hate is ancient but novel, deploying the Internet to boost its allure and broaden its appeal. Prescribing by mental health nurses: the UK perspective

This article aims to discuss the growth of mental health nurse (MHN) prescribing in the United Kingdom as an exemplar for readers to compare progress in their own countries and context. This study also aims to provide a historical overview of this process in the United Kingdom where MHNs prescribe safely and competently.
CONCLUSIONS. Finally, evidence has shown that MHNs with prescriptive authority are competent when prescribing when compared to psychiatrists.
PRACTICE IMPLICATIONS. Despite organizational barriers and educational concerns, MHN prescribing is becoming embedded in the healthcare context in the United Kingdo

book puts balloons between the concepts of atmosphere
and envelopment to make these issues tangible and
noticeable. Yet the object balloon is not a device of
simply materialising the envelopment of the
atmosphere. For the author, atmosphere means
‘elemental spacetimes that are simultaneously affective
and meteorological, whose force and variation can be
felt, sometimes only barely’, where envelopment
addresses both to ‘the condition of being immersed
within an atmosphere’ and ‘a process through which
atmospheric things emerge’ (4–5). The book consists of
nine chapters titled respectively: envelopment, sensing,
allure, release, volume, sounding, tensions, hail, and
elements. These sub-titles form, for McCormack, the
media of ‘elemental conditions of experience via
different configurations of bodies, materials, and
devices’ (5), which make atmospheres disclosed and

No full textResponding to a set of review essays, the author of Law's Allure: How Law Shapes, Constrains, Saves, and Kills Politics (Silverstein 2009) argues that politicians and policy entrepreneurs fail to calculate the risks of juridification—the judicialization of policy combined with the legalization of politics itself—which have expanded and accelerated in the United States in recent decades. Paradigmatic case studies (on subjects including poverty, electoral districting, automated budgeting, war powers, abortion laws, and the regulation of tobacco as well as the environment) illustrate the risks of various patterns of juridification and construct an agenda for future research.</jats:p
IN VIVO EVALUATION OF MISOPROSTOL FLOATING MICROSPHERES
Get PDFProstaglandin (PG) has been reported to be an important protective and acid suppressive factor in the gastric mucosa. The objective of the study was to develop and evaluate a stomach specific drug delivery system for controlled release of Misoprostal a PE analogue for gastric ulcer induced NSAIDs. Floating microspheres were prepared by emulsification-solvent evaporation method using ethyl cellulose as a polymer, carbo pol as mucoadhesive polymer. Ulcers were induced by the oral administration of absolute ethanol (5 mL/kg) to 24 h fasted Wistar male rats (n=8), weighing 200 g. Sodium bicarbonate solution, misoprostal solution and drug loaded microspheres were tested. Formulations were administered orally 1h before the administration of ethanol. Prior to the oral administration, rats were anesthetized with ethylic ether. After 2 h of ethanol administration, animals were sacrificedthe stomachs were removed, opened along .he greater curvature and examined for lesion measurements. Ulcer indexes (UI) were calculated. The in vivo evaluation showed that ulcer index values were 0.61 ± 0.14 for the sodium bicarbonate solution, 0.58 ±O.18 for the misoprostal and 0.11 :i: 0.06 for the misoprostal-Ioaded microspheres. The Kruskal- Wallis test detected statistical differences (p =0.002) between the ulcer indexes. The multiple analyses (Student-Newman-Keuls) showed that the misoprostal loaded microspheres presented a gastric ulcer index statistically lower than that of the sodium bicarbonate solution (p = 0.001) and the misoprostal solution (p = 0.021). The percentages of ulceration inhibition were 31\u27 and 75% after the administration of misoprostal solution and microspheres, respectively. In conclusion, the in vivo evaluation showed that the microspheres presented ulcer index lower than the solutions, showing that misoprostal-loaded microspheres were efficient in protecting the stomach against ulcer formation

One the one hand, a continued and continual spectacularisation of society should mean that signifiers of ‘approved’ rurality – the stuff that chocolate box lids are made of – are secure in the public affection. On the other hand, indications of a growing interest in narrative suggest a resurgence of curiosity about chocolates, rather than the box. Drawing a parallel with the re-invention of industrial cities as destinations for leisure visits in the 1980s, a range of possible outcomes in terms of revised readings of the rural will be offered. Using SQ4R to Improve Students’ Reading Comprehension in Vocational High School
No full textThis study intends to enhance the first semester comprehension skills of Class X TKJ students at SMK Nagara Kedunggalar using the SQ4R approach. Action research in the classroom is used in the study. Only one cycle of three sessions was used for the research. Participants in the study include the author, an English teacher, and 26 TKJ students in the tenth grade from SMK Nagara Kedunggalar. Both qualitative and quantitative data are present in this study. The qualitative information was gathered through student and English teacher interviews, as well as observation of the teaching and learning process. The results of the pre- and post-tests for reading comprehension are used to generate the quantitative statistics. The three action research methodologies are used to conduct the study in a methodical manner. They include preparation, execution, observation, and reflection. The pupils must meet five benchmarks, including the ability to identify the main concept of a narrative work, identify references and vocabulary, and create a conclusion or summary. Additionally, the students' interest and participation can be increased by using the SQ4R approach. The majority of students are able to get past whatever issues they may have with the signs. According to the advancement of the mean value of the students' pre-test and post-test scores, the implementation of the SQ4R approach can improve the students' reading ability. Their post-test scores had a mean value of 83 while their pre-test scores had a mean value of 39. This accomplishment demonstrates how the SQ4R approach can help pupils' reading comprehension skills.</jats:p
