Structural equation modeling is used to fit the data provided by 150 public sector employees working in various government agencies. Due to the specific organizational culture, this study argues that employees in public sector will choose response either loyalty or neglect depending on which personality traits they belong to. Drawing on the Five Factor Model (FFM), the study finds out that Openness to Experience, Conscientiousness and Extraversion when something unfavorable happens in an organization, they will remain in organization but exhibit passive withdrawal behaviors such as reporting sick, coming in late, putting less effort into their, putting not enough effort into their work, and missing out on meetings (neglect) while Agreeableness and Emotional Stability will remain confident, assume that in the end everything will work out fine and finally wait and hope for improvement (loyalty)
A Cultural Ecology of New Public Management in Indonesia
In 1980s, new public management (NPM) gained popularity as a
universal model of reform in public sector management. However, in South East Asia, there have been significant differences between countries that have been successful in NPM reform. Drawing on frameworks of national culture, this article is aimed at exploring the applicability of NPM in the developing country of Indonesia.Using Hofstede ’s const ruct of national culture , social units in Indonesia are explained with NPM proposed as a culturally
dependent strategy. It is suggested that the successful implementation of NPM requires compliance between the reform strategies that are adopted and the country’s cultural characteristics. Prior failure in the implementation of NPM has rekindled the interest in the “old” bureaucratic paradigm which was then an indispensable foundation in the fiel
Promoting Organizational Citizenship Behavior among Employees - The Role of Leadership Practices
Despite of numerous studies that investigate the relationship between leadership and The Organizational
Citizenship Behavior, very few of these studies have examined the influences of leadership practices – as defined
by Kouzes and Posner (1987) - on organizational citizenship behaviors. Moreover, most of these studies have
been conducted in western context (developed counties). In this regard, current study has three main purposes:
first, investigate the influences of leadership practices on organizational citizenship behaviors. Second, conduct
this investigation in Arabic context (developing country). The third purpose of this study is to investigate the
mediating effect of organizational commitment on the relationship between leadership practices and
organizational citizenship behaviors.
Using the response of 108 non managerial banks employees, the result indicated that leadership practices have a
significant positive impact in the organizational commitment and OCB. The results of the study found that

ISLAMIC BANK CONSUMERS IN JAVA - THE HERO, THE DUPE, THE SNOB, OR THE SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE
In the early 2000s, Islamic banking evolved as a new model of Indonesia’s
financial institutions. However, in practice, there have been significant
differences between countries that have been successful in applying Islamic
banking and those that have not. This article is aimed at exploring the
applicability of Islamic banking in a particular cultural context. In particular,
the study analyses the applicability of Islamic banking in Indonesia, mainly
in East Java where most Muslims are found. A cultural theory is presented whereby Islamic banking is depicted as a culturally dependent strategy. The study proposes that the successful implementation of Islamic banking requires
complementary between the reform strategies that are adopted and the particular cultural characteristics of the country in which they are implemented
Leadership Practices and Talent Turnover: Study on Yemeni Organizations
To date, many studies have been conducted in order to identify factors that have a great impact on employees’
turnover. A number of studies have shown that leadership style influences employees’ job satisfaction and their
turnover intention. However, very few studies have dealt with the relationship between Kouzes and Posner (1987)’s
leadership practices and employees’ turnover. This study aims to identify the role that Leadership practices play in
enhancing loyalty and at the same time reducing turnover intention among the most valuable employees - talent
employees - in telecommunication sector in Yemen. In addition, current study also aims at examine whether the
relationship between leadership practices and turnover intention is mediated by the talent employees’ job
satisfaction.
Using the response of 280 employees working in the five Yemeni telecommunication organizations, the results
indicated that there is a negative relationship between overall leadership practices and turnover intentions among
talent employees, four out of five practices were negatively correlated with talent employees’ turnover intention.
Moreover, job satisfaction founded to be a mediator of the relationship between leadership practices and turnover
intentions.

Green product in Malaysia: Still a long way to go
In the early 2000’s green technology is a buzz word. However in a developing country
like Malaysia, customers’ acceptance of green products is still low due to the low
number of environmentally friendly products acceptance compared to their non-green
counterparts. On the basis of benefit and cost analysis, the purpose of this study is to
identify the factors influencing customers’ decision in buying green product. This study
argues that customers’ intention to buy green products are determined by benefit-toself, benefit to environment, comparative cost and attainable cost. A survey is based
on sample of 360 customers and potential customers of green products in Melaka,
Malaysia and Structural Equation Model is used. The research revealed that the
benefit-to-self factor is not a significant factor which influences customers’ intention to
buy green products. The implication of this research to the design of green products is
then discussed

Cognitive and affective evaluation in forming unique destination image among tourists visiting Malacca
Since Melaka is positioned as Historical City inaugurated by UNESCO in 2008, the study suggests unique image as a new component of image associations. A number of overseas tourists were selected as samples . Results showed that unique image was significantly constructed and affected by cognitive and affective evaluations. Cognitive evaluation was significantly affected by the types of information source, while affective evaluation was affected significantly by social psychological motivations. The research proves that Melaka has fulfilled the requirements to differentiate the city as a unique tourist destination. The positioning of Melaka as truly Malaysia and World heritage should be translated into the rational benefit of encountering unspoiled historical side and multi-racial living cultures. Positive unique image creation leads to intention to revisit and recommend others experiencing the world heritage and history of Melaka

Innowacje w zarządzaniu uwzględniające równoważenia innowacji technologicznych wykorzystująca możliwości uniwersytetów w dobie społeczności 4.0
The Internet of things (IoT) has changed the way universities managing the people and the way of transferring knowledge. To go with the current trend, universities invest a considerable amount in technology to be acknowledged as an innovative university. However, lower productivity of lecturers, the complaint on the quality of outputs as well as the decreased enrolment requires universities to explore another arena to innovate. Academia has started accentuating that to capture the comprehensive benefits of innovation, technological innovation must be mixed with management innovation that is altering the practice of management within organizations by adopting new organizational structures, processes, and practices to generate a valuable source of competitive advantage. As most innovations are associated with product development, this study highlights management practices as a process innovation in responding to the trend. While there is a growing body of in-depth qualitative research that provides insight into the sequence of events that occurs during process innovation, these studies have not systematically analyzed the organizational capabilities that fuel management innovation mainly in an educational organization. Therefore, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) is employed to spot the arena for further study. Finally, the model is expected to provide the model for universities wishing to promote innovation within the organization in supporting the Indonesian government’ aspire to achieve the economic growth above 7% in the years to come.Internet rzeczy (IoT) zmienił sposób, w jaki uniwersytety zarządzają ludźmi i sposobem przekazywania wiedzy.
