This company is the subsidiary of Telecommunications Company Airtel India in Bangladesh .Airtel Bangladesh Limited is one of the fastest growing mobile services providers in Bangladesh and is a concern of Bharti Airtel Limited, a leading global telecommunications services provider. The company offers a wide array of innovative mobile services, including voice, value added services, data and m-commerce products and is focused on expanding its state-of-the-art mobile network both for coverage and capacity. Since, all of the operators are offering almost same categories of products it has become a big challenge to retain the existing subscribers and acquisition of new customers. At this moment Airtel is trying to reach the Retailers with various promotional activities and is attempting to make their brand presence felt. Through their significant advances in Bangladesh, Airtel is moving ahead on the track to achieve their goals. As a student BBA program, I got the opportunity to complete my internship program in such a multinational telecom company. The internship program is the partial requirement of my BBA program and the duration of the internship session was 3 months. I worked in the central sales department at Dhaka -1 Zone of Airtel Bangladesh. The report has been prepared in align with my job responsibilities and experiences at Airtel. I have conducted a research survey among Airtel retailers who sells both SIM and recharge. After that I have designed the research in a descriptive way and collected data are analyzed quantitatively. The research findings show that there are several factors that make the retailers dissatisfied regarding Airtel. Insufficient SIM delivery, Poor network quality, delay on SIM replacement, poor commission structure and bad internet service etc. are the areas for customer dissatisfaction. On the other hand, the retailers are satisfied for the low call rate of prepaid connection, higher commission payment, availability of the prepaid Ezee load, tariffs of the prepaid packages, lives enriching value added service, and for customer supports after sales. However, the overall analysis describes that the most of the Airtel prepaid subscribers are moderate subscribers. At the end of the project, some recommendations are given to help the Airtel management so that they can deploy appropriate decisions to reduce the retailer’s dissatisfaction.Muhammad Atiqur RahmanB.     Industry 5.0, Human–machine Interface, and Smart Manufacturing in Additive Manufacturing—A Recent Trend

    The emergence and importance of Industry 5.0 are transforming production by integrating smart technology with human creativity and intelligence, especially in advanced additive manufacturing. This critical review precisely analyzes the function of human–machine interfaces (HMIs) in enhancing additive processes, emphasizing their incorporation into smart manufacturing systems and hybrid manufacturing methods, including material extrusion (MEX), laser powder bed fusion (LPBF), and directed energy deposition (DED). It also evaluates artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and cybersecurity, which enhance HMIs in process monitoring, operation, and system adaptability. This study aims to provide a critical analysis and future research direction on how HMIs improve operator interaction, precision, and process adaptability. Some of the most important technical problems are investigated, such as intellectual design, system compatibility, and how to balance automation with human control. The paper examines the operational conflicts that arise in modern HMI systems, such as mismatches between machine autonomy and human input, and suggests unique improvements to more effectively integrate human expertise with machine accuracy. This study investigates the integration of HMIs in hybrid manufacturing within industrial sectors. The study aims at enhancing future research and development, encouraging the development of high-quality security, next-generation HMIs, understandable AI, and an environmentally friendly production system in the next-generation manufacturing environment, which aligns with Industry 5.0

    Reflections on humanizing education for Economics and Management Sciences

    This book compiles 15 written expressions of the participants of 2021 KENMS ‘Ibadah Camp with the theme “attributes of true believers in the Qur’an and Sunnah” within the framework of humanizing education with Maqasid al-Shari’ah. The attributes of true believers should be rooted in spirituality. Gairuzazmi contended that humanizing education at the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences has started with the humanization in the Islamisation of economics and management sciences. Each Islamic value has been incorporated in various disciplines. Mohamed Aslam and Hassanuddeen have incorporated the concept of zuhd into the value of responsible consumption in economics, finance and management. Rafikul Islam pointed at managing time with some practical tips. Ahasanul Haque and Md Atiqur Rahman Sarker argued that the Sejahtera Academic Framework (SAF) has been used to guide humanizing education in marketing and business studies. Rafikul Islam contended that the manifestation of humanising education has been related to embracing priorities. Indeed, Suhaimi, Yusof and Nur Arfifah argued that the “Sejahtera” synonyms have been used in humanizing management studies. More importantly, Muhammad Irwan pointed at the Sejahtera heart and spirituality that derived from ahadiths. Fatimah Noor Rashidah argued that humanizing education as sustainability allows one to act. The argument has been reflected by Nurdianawati Irwani on humanising students with five reflections. In lieu of that, Hamdino argued the role of patience and tawakkal in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Nur Fariza argued that humanizing education requires a second chance in managing human resources. Marhanum argued that the humanizing education process requires ibda’ binafsi. Thus, Rafiqa pointed at the practices of dhikr in daily life with ikhlas. Suhaimi, Yusof, Dolhadi and Rohaziah argued that humanizing education in Business Ethics was commendable from Maqasidh al-Shariah.     Bioelectricity in Malaysia: economic feasibility, environmental and deforestation implications

    We investigate the economic feasibility of bioelectricity production from biomass in Malaysia and its impact on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and storage, agricultural prices, agricultural employment and deforestation. For this purpose, we develop a partial equilibrium model that projects agricultural prices, production, imports, exports, domestic consumption and land use in 5-year increments between 2015 and 2065. Our results show that by 2030 biomass-generated electricity can supply 36.5 per cent of the electricity generated in Malaysia, 16 times more than the 2016 electricity supply from biomass. Increased bioelectricity production from biomass will significantly reduce GHG emissions and will help Malaysia meet its commitment in the Paris Agreement to mitigate GHG emission by 45 per cent before 2030. Our modelling shows that biomass-generated electricity creates a derived demand for waste biomass that expands the area of oil palm plantations. The expansion lowers agricultural prices, boosts agricultural employment and leads to some deforestation as landowners clear rainforest to plant oil palm trees. Nonetheless, the deforestation does not increase GHG emissions since GHG gains from bioelectricity significantly exceed GHG losses from deforestation

    Synthesis and characterization of Mg-Zn ferrite based flexible microwave composites and its application as SNG metamaterial

    In this article, we propose SNG (single negative) metamaterial fabricated on Mg-Zn ferrite-based flexible microwave composites. Firstly, the flexible composites are synthesized by the sol-gel method having four different molecular compositions of MgxZn(1-x)Fe2O4, which are denoted as Mg20, Mg40, Mg60, and Mg80. The structural, morphological, and microwave properties of the synthesized flexible composites are analyzed using X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), and conventional dielectric assessment kit (DAK) to justify their possible application as dielectric substrate at microwave frequency regime. Thus the average grain size is found from 20 to 24 nm, and the dielectric constants are 6.01, 5.10, 4.19, and 3.28, as well as loss tangents, are 0.002, 0.004, 0.006, and 0.008 for the prepared Mg-Zn ferrites, i.e., Mg20, Mg40, Mg60, and Mg80 respectively. Besides, the prepared low-cost Mg-Zn ferrite composites exhibit high flexibility and lightweight, which makes them a potential candidate as a metamaterial substrate. Furthermore, a single negative (SNG) metamaterial unit cell is fabricated on the prepared, flexible microwave composites, and their essential electromagnetic behaviors are observed. Very good effective medium ratios (EMR) vales are obtained from 14.65 to 18.47, which ensure the compactness of the fabricated prototypes with a physical dimension of 8 x 6.5 mm2. Also, the proposed materials have shown better performances comparing with conventional FR4 and RO4533 materials, and they have covered S-, C-, X-, Ku-, and K-band of microwave frequency region.     Discrimination of Women at RMG Sector in Bangladesh

    Women are discriminated in professional, personal and community levels by their male counterpart across the globe in general. More specifically, women are not treated equally at workplace in many societies due to the dominance of patriarchal social system and traditional norms. Women equity and empowerment are spoken widely, but these are not practiced in reality. The primary aim of this study is to explore the women’s current position and status at the workplace in Ready Made Garments (RMG) sector in Bangladesh in terms of wages, promotions, safety and security. Secondly, this paper highlights the challenges that women face at RMG. This paper adopts qualitative approach to study this crucial issues. This study also congregates and analyses the most pertinent data both from the existing literature and primary sources. In-depth Interviews (IDIs) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) have been conducted among the female RMG workers appointed in different industrial zones in Bangladesh. This study has some remarkable findings such as, a) women employee do not get proper respect at workplace from their male colleagues. b) Women are often harassed verbally by their male coworkers. c) Owners, managers and supervisors have the bad intention to fulfill their sexual desire with female workers. d) Male supervisors often force their female subordinates to do overtime till the late night. e) Though female workers are doing the same job, but they do not get proper justice in terms of getting desired job posting, salary on time and promotions based on their skills and competencies. Finally, this study focuses on resolving the issues of gender discrimination at the workplace and contributes towards the equity and empowerment of women in RMG sector in Bangladesh

    Application of Decision Making from Islamic Perspective by Decision Maker

    The primary object of this study is to understand the process of making decision from Islamic perspective and to describe how decision making from Islamic perspective plays important role in the daily life and the planning process. The purpose of this research is also to identify the methods that can be used in making decision and to explain the benefits and advantages of making decision from Islamic viewpoint. This study adopted the qualitative research design and involved 12 participants that includes managers, academicians, social activist and organisation heads who are involved in making decisions as well as the PhD students of social sciences. The data collection procedure was a qualitative in-depth face-to-face and online platform interview. According to the response of the participants, the result of this study shows that decision making from Islamic perspective can avoid from making mistakes and it helps the decision makers to make fair and equitable decisions and to achieve the goals effectively and efficiently. It also helps them to generate better solutions when they face problems during making decision. This study will play a significant role to maintain good relationships with colleagues and everyone in the team or at the workplace. This study suggested that the decision makers should follow the concept of ShÅ«rÄ (consultation) in the decision-making process and guidelines that has been provided in this research, which reduces the gaps between people of different positions and power.Â
