Moisture absorption and diffusivity of epoxy filled layered-structure nanocomposite
No full textThis paper studies moisture absorption and diffusivity of epoxy reinforced layered structure nanocomposites and its effect on fracture toughness. Two different types of layered fillers employed in the study were clay and graphene platelets, in which both surface layers were unmodified and modified by characterized by swelling analysis and fracture toughness measurement. The outcomes surfactant. The nanocomposites were showed that the moisture absorption and diffusivity decreased with the addition of layered fillers. It was found that the modified graphene platelets and clay outperformed the unmodified layers and neat epoxy in terms of reduction of moisture absorption and diffusivity. The modified graphene platelets reduced the moisture uptake and diffusivity about 30% and 33%, respectively compare to neat epoxy, thus indicates its outstanding performance in barrier applications. However, once the nanocomposites were swelling in the water for 5 days, it is noticed that the fracture toughness of nanocomposites were reduced significantly about 35% in average. Nevertheless, the modified graphene platelets still display the better performance compare to the other samples although there was reduction of fracture toughness

Get PDFThe project is about to develop computer application for recognizing shape. This project focuses on a basic shape like square, circle, oval, rectangle and a triangle. This project is developed for children as they're learning in knowing type of shape. This project has been developed by using MATLAB software and its library, Image Processing Toolbox. The project has used a simple mathematical formula in MATLAB to recognize shapes. The result return is fully accurate for those five shapes, but for other some shape is not. The application cannot recognize the shape like hexagon, pentagon, parallelogram and trapezoid. The image file is accepted as input and the image with a label of result (shape name) is returned as output. The type of image file support for this application was .jpeg, .jpg, .png, and .bmp only. The maximum of image file accepted is 1024 pixel by 1024 pixel. If the input image chosen exceed the maximum size, the result will get bugged and the output image will exceed viewed boarder

menonjolkan seorang tokoh ulama yang namanya tercatat dalam buku sejarah ulama di Tanah
Melayu, akan tetapi tidak dikenali secara umum. Beliau adalah Tuan Guru Haji Wan
Ismail@Harun bin Abdul Rahman yang terdiri dari kalangan lapisan generasi ulama terakhir

This article discusses how far the methodology and thinking of a
local interpretation scholar, Syaykh Mustafa Abdul Rahman Mahmud
(1918-1968) have contributed to the interpretation of Tafsir al-Quran
al-Hakim, focusing on the first volume. Therefore, this research has
found that Syaykh Mustafa Abdul Rahman Mahmud methodology and
thinking culture in the first volume of the Tafsir al-Quran al-Hakim
was influenced by the innovation flow, adopting the Tafsir al-Manar
and Tafsir al-Maraghi as reference and guide

Receiving information from indirect sources is common in daily lives. This may be due to the time constraint, giving priority to one’s current engagement, physical distance, mandatory non-face-to-face communication, and other factors. In fact, most of an individual’s time is spent on processing indirect information whether one deals with his office work or family matters. This chapter shows the extent of congruence that is identified by a co-author based on the description of the other two co-authors who attended the talk on the topic of “Budi,” “Sejahtera,” and “Leadership.” The lead author created and sent an attachment that contains a combination of dichotomous and open-ended questions related to the three-terminology theme to the other co-authors for their independent views. He analyzed their textual opinions and produced his analysis of the converging and diverging themes based on the opinions provided. This case study helps people become aware of the varying amount and depth of information acquired by listeners to a public lecture, moreover via online platform rather than among the audience of a lecture in a hall. In this case, only two listeners are involved, making content analysis easy.
