Gullible Consumers: The Contradictions of Sustainability
Contradictions of sustainability are all around us. They are referred to as contradictions because the companies that preach about their sustainable practices drive the problems. The author dives deeper into the issue and explores why we, as consumers, find these initiatives attractive. In this chapter, the author focuses on brands they have documented as contradictions; for example, fast fashion brands, attempts to reduce the amount of clothing produced by offering (both online and in-store) a donation box for shoppers to bring in unwanted clothing. The problem with many sustainability initiatives is that they are no more than buyback initiatives; such short-term decision-making is that it only diverts the problem elsewhere: far away from our eyes, to second-hand markets and landfills in countries like Ghana and Chile, where we do not know what happens. The problem with the solutions we create stems from ignoring the complexity of our world. The author further argues that we must remove the shackles of the past that determine our future by relying on the same systematic patterns that produced the previous problem and leaving them to repeat those patterns; to let go of the familiar and lay with the discomfort, the discomfort that can help imagine the world anew
Inverse of frobenius graphs and flexibility
Weak Crossed Product Algebras correspond to certain graphs called lower
subtractive graphs. The properties of such algebras can be obtained by studying this kind
of graphs ([4], [5]). In [1], the author showed that a weak crossed product is Frobenius
and its restricted subalgebra is symmetric if and only if its associated graph has a unique
maximal vertex. A special construction of these graphs came naturally and was known as
standard lower subtractive graph. It was a deep question that when such a special graph
possesses unique maximal vertex?
This work is to answer the question partially and to give a particular characterization
for such graphs at which the corresponding algebras are isomorphic. A graph that follows
the mentioned characterization is called flexible. Flexibility is to some extend a generalization
of the so-called Coxeter groups and its weak Bruhat ordering.Corresponding Author:

Dispatchable Operation of Multiple Electrolysers for Demand Side Response and the Production of Hydrogen Fuel-Libyan Case Study
Concerns over both environmental issues and about the depletion of fossil fuels have acted as twin driving forces to the development of renewable energy and its integration into existing electricity grids. The variable nature of RE generators assessment affects the ability to balance supply and demand across electricity networks; however, the use of energy storage and demand-side response techniques is expected to help relieve this situation. One possibility in this regard might be the use of water electrolysis to produce hydrogen while producing industrial-scale DSR services. This would be facilitated by the use of tariff structures that incentive the operation of electrolysers as dispatchable loads. This research has been carried out to answer the following question: What is the feasibility of using electrolysers to provide industrial-scale of Demand-side Response for grid balancing while producing hydrogen at a competitive price? The hydrogen thus produced can then be used, and indeed sold, as a clean automotive fuel. To these ends, two common types of electrolyser, alkaline and PEM, are examined in considerable detail. In particular, two cost scenarios for system components are considered, namely those for 2015 and 2030. The coastal city of Darnah in Libya was chosen as the basis
for this case study, where renewable energy can be produced via wind turbines and photovoltaics (PVs), and where there are currently six petrol stations serving the city that can be converted to hydrogen refuelling stations (HRSs). In 2015 all scenarios for both PEM and alkaline electrolysers were considered and were found to be able to partly meet the project aims but with high cost of hydrogen due to the high cost of system capital costs, low price of social carbon cost and less government support. However, by 2030 the price of hydrogen price will make it a good option as energy storage and clean fuel for many reasons such as the expected drop in capital cost, improvement in the efficiency of the equipment, and the expectation of high price of social carbon cost. Penetration of hydrogen into the energy sector requires strong governmental support by either establishing or modifying policies and energy laws to increasingly support renewable energy usage. Government support could effectively bring forward the date at which hydrogen becomes techno-economically viable (i.e. sooner than 2030).Ministry of Education- Liby
Dispatchable Hydrogen Production at the Forecourt for Electricity Demand Shaping
Environmental issues and concerns about depletion of fossil fuels have driven rapid growth in the generation of renewable energy (RE) and its use in electricity grids. Similarly, the need for an alternative to hydrocarbon fuels means that the number of fuel cell vehicles is also expected to increase. The ability of electricity networks to balance supply and demand is greatly affected by the variable, intermittent output of RE generators; however, this could be relieved using energy storage and demand-side response (DSR) techniques. One option would be production of hydrogen by electrolysis powered from wind and solar sources. The use of tariff structures would provide an incentive to operate electrolysers as dispatchable loads. The aim of this paper is to compare the cost of hydrogen production by electrolysis at garage forecourts in Libya, for both dispatchable and continuous operation, without interruption of fuel supply to vehicles. The coastal city of Derna was chosen as a case study, with the renewable energy being produced via a wind turbine farm. Wind speed was analysed in order to determine a suitable turbine, then the capacity was calculated to estimate how many turbines would be needed to meet demand. Finally, the excess power was calculated, based on the discrepancy between supply and demand. The study looked at a hydrogen refueling station in both dispatchable and continuous operation, using an optimisation algorithm. The following three scenarios were considered to determine whether the cost of electrolytic hydrogen could be reduced by a lower off-peak electricity price. These scenarios are: Standard Continuous, in which the electrolyser operates continuously on a standard tariff of 12 p/kWh; Off-peak Only, in which the electrolyser operates only during off-peak periods at the lower price of 5 p/kWh; and 2-Tier Continuous, in which the electrolyser operates continuously on a low tariff at off-peak times and a high tariff at other times. The results indicate that Scenario 2 produced the cheapest electricity at £2.90 per kg of hydrogen, followed by Scenario 3 at £3.80 per kg, and the most expensive was Scenario 1 at £6.90 per kg.</jats:p
Problems of translation “Days Gone By” by Abdulla Kadiri
This article deals with the problems of translation and equivalency, especially with cultural words, which present national customs and traditions. Cultural terms usually present fewer problems. In this article, great attention is paid to the national-cultural specificity of translation of Uzbek classical literature into English. Interpretation from the mother tongue into a foreign language must comply with terminological and pronunciation norms of the target language to such a degree that the ideas, intentions and factual information contained in the original speech and the attitude of the speaker to them are passed on in such a way that communication is not impaired nor misunderstandings caused. Roman Abdulla Qadiri, “Days Gone By,” reveals a wide range of universal human themes and problems. Therefore, it is very difficult to define it unambiguously. Nevertheless, it can be argued that having laid the foundation of the work as a beautiful love story, the author was able to touch upon the complex problem of the confrontation between God and the devil, light, and darkness in the destinies of mankind.

Onymotop: The type locality is in the environment of Ranya city (36°15′18″N, 44°53′1″E), Ranya district, Sulaymaniyah governorate, Kurdistan autonomous region, Iraq. Onymophores: Type material was not examined. According to Mawlood et al. (2017), the holotype is housed in the insect museum of the College of Agriculture at the Salahaddin University in Erbil, while the whereabouts of the paratypes (7 ³³, 6 ♀♀) were not communicated. Nomen availability: The nomen in question was introduced in the second issue of the twelfth volume of the ‘ Kirkuk University Journal for Scientific Studies’ (KUJSS), which was issued in March 2017. The KUJSS is an official publication of the Faculty of Science at the University of Kirkuk, available as print (ISSN: 1992-0849) and electronic / online open access (eISSN: 2616-6801) edition. Note that the International Standard Serial Numbers are printed on the articles since the first isue of the ninth volume (Spring 2014), and the electronical one since the second issue of the thirteenth volume (June 2018). The KUJSS is – in the words of Noruzi & Abdekhoda (2014) – rather “invisible to world science”: a PDF was found by serendipity via Google Scholar using the keywords ‘ Malachius ’ and ‘Iraq’ (the same document can also be found when searching for ‘Malachiusraniansis’ or ‘Malachiusraniasia’). A physical copy of the work in question was unobtainable (see above). This raised doubts on the existence of an effectively published work printed on paper. Here, it is concluded that the KUJSS is not disseminated widely, and that the taxon name is published and thus available. Nomen validity and correctness: There is a conflict in nomography (= spelling of a nomen), viz. a case of both ameletography (= presence of one or more ameletographs (= spelling of a nomen used inadvertently in a publication by an author, editor or publisher)) and symprotography (= presence of two or more symprotographs (= multiple original spellings) for the nomen in the original publication where this nomen was introduced) – or, in other words, between original spellings competing for correctness. This situation is here resolved with a special onomatergy (= any action of resolution of uncertainties and ambiguities which may have remained after a catastasy (= original publication of a nomen)), viz. that of a nomographic correction during an airesy (= first-reviser action): The original ameletographs and symprotographs ‘ Malachiusraniansis ’ and ‘ Malachiusraniasia ’ are transcribed into the apographs ‘ Malachius raniansis ’ and ‘ Malachius raniasia ’. At the same time, the former is selected to be the lectoprotograph (= correct original spelling after airesy) and later the leipoprotograph (= incorrect original spelling after airesy).Published as part of Plonski, Isidor S., 2021, Multiple original spellings, living authors and the Code: The case of Malachius raniansis Mawlood, Hammamurad & Abdulla, 2017 (Coleoptera: Melyridae), pp. 297-300 in Zootaxa 4927 (2) on page 298, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4927.2.11, http://zenodo.org/record/453695
