No full textView looking up into the crossing and dome (by Rosato Rosati, 1611); [The attribute ai Catinari refers to the presence, at the time of its construction, of many dishmaker shops in the same street of the church. The church was commissioned by the Order of the Barnabites and funded by the Milanese community in Rome to honour their fellow Milanese San Carlo Borromeo (in English, St. Charles Borromeo).] Rosati was engaged by the Barnabites to work on the design of their new church, S Carlo ai Catinari. Construction began in 1612 and was completed up to the lantern by 1620. The choir, however, dates from a later campaign (1638-1646), as does the façade (1636-1638) by Giovanni Battista Soria. Advanced services for critical infrastructures protection
No full textIn this paper an overview of the first results of FP7 CIPRNet project is presented. Particularly, we demonstrate CIPRNet services for critical infrastructure protection (CIP) stakeholders. The role of the proposed services is to support decisions in the CIP domain. Moreover, those services are expected to serve as the underpinnings for the European Infrastructures Simulation and Analysis Centre (EISAC) which, similarly to the US NISAC, should provide operational services on CIP, for the benefits of CI operators, stakeholders and the Public Authorities committed to CIP. © 2015, The Author(s)
La valutazione dell’attitudine delle dimore storiche al riuso economico “sostenibile”: un approccio multiattributo non additivo
No full textIl saggio illustra un modello di valutazione multicriterio volto ad analizzare l’attitudine di edifici storici al riuso economico “sostenibile”. Lo sviluppo del modello muove dalla constatazione, per certi versi ovvia, che il riuso costituisce una promettente strategia di conservazione dal degrado e dall’abbandono solo se è capace di creare risorse adeguate al mantenimento del patrimonio e, nel contempo, tutelare le principali caratteristiche storiche e artistiche. La possibilità di sviluppare progetti capaci di tale sintesi è legata, da un lato, alle potenzialità economiche del contesto e, dall’altro, alla “flessibilità” del manufatto. Il modello utilizza funzioni non-lineari che sintetizzano e riassumono vari parametri e criteri: le caratteristiche intrinseche dell’edificio, la qualità dell’ambiente, le potenzialità turistiche ed economiche del territorio circostante. La procedura di valutazione è stata costruita e calibrata a partire da giudizi di professionisti esperti nel campo del restauro, del recupero e dell’sviluppo locale. Il modello utilizza indicatori di tipo quantitativo e quantitativo e fornisce indicazioni a varie scale di dettaglio e rispetto a tre tipi di riuso (residenze, hotel, uffici)

Namely, from a “lovemark” (Roberts, 2005), understood as “something that is loved” in that it is the expression of precise inspirational values, the brand has evolved into a “wikibrand” (Moffit and Dover, 2012), i.e. “something in which one participates”, an incontrovertible sign of interaction/integration with the consumer, able to bring benefits in terms of distinctiveness, profitability, and the ability to develop innovation and generate memorable experiences (Pencarelli and Gregori, 2009)

No full textQuesto studio ha consentito di valutare l'influenza dll'utilizzo di alcune tipologie di enzimi di macerazione sull'estrazione di composti coloranti e tannici. Gli enzimi sperimentati agiscono fortemente sulle pareti cellulari favorendone la rottura e la solubilizzazione delle componenti della buccia. I composti estratti, mediante reazioni di condensazione, portano ad ottenere pigmenti stabili nel tempo ed un'adeguata intensità colorante. L'utilizzo di questi coadiuvanti tecnologici ha portato all'ottenimento di un vino rosato più stabile dal punto di vista cromatico.[...
