No full textIn the present work, the possibility of transferring in the ceramic tiles production the know-how developed in the field of the paints by using the Kubelka-Munk theory, in the form used for opaque surface coatings, have been evaluated. Five different target colors have been chosen as target and tried to reproduce with an industrial glaze in a cycle for fine porcelain stoneware tiles. Four industrial pigments have been chosen as basic stains for the formulations. The results show a good efficiency of the color matching algorithm applied to pigments for glazes for fine porcelain stoneware tiles. All the formulations, in fact, have allowed to obtain a value of Delta E* lower to the accepted limit

No full textGiven the ageing population and the growing interest in prior verification of the compatibility of existing housing to accommodate home care activities, this paper reports the results of a research aimed at implementing tools to support the design of housing adaptation in anticipation of flexibility to accompany the evolving needs of the elderly cared for. An evaluation system was structured starting with the definition of requirements connoting the home space for home care, which was useful for selecting and verifying, on a performance basis, the compliance of furniture available on the market, also in relation to modularity and readiness for customisation. The best-performing furniture solutions were entered into a database that will be made interoperable in future research developments in a BIM environment.

No full textIn linea con le strategie di promozione dei Positive Energy Districts per una transizione verso città europee climaticamente neutre, il contributo riporta gli esiti di una ricerca volta all’individuazione dei fattori abilitanti per incentivare tale transizione sul territorio nazionale, identificando il ruolo svolto dai principali soggetti pubblici e privati nelle diverse fasi. A partire dallo studio dei processi attuativi, delle soluzioni tecnologiche e delle modalità di coinvolgimento degli stakeholder che hanno contribuito al buon esito di progetti virtuosi di sviluppo urbano sostenibile realizzati in Italia, la ricerca propone un approccio sistemico per l’organizzazione di contenuti informativi rilevanti in grado di supportare le Municipalità nell’individuazione di buone pratiche potenzialmente replicabili, incentivandole ad avviare nuovi processi di sviluppo urbano in chiave Positive Energy Districts.In line with the strategies to promote Positive Energy Districts for a transition to climate-neutral European cities, the contribution reports the outcomes of a research aimed at detecting the enabling factors to incentivize such a transition in the national territory, identifying the role played by the main public and private stakeholders in the different phases. Starting from the study of implementation processes, technological solutions and stakeholder involvement methods that have contributed to the success of virtuous sustainable urban development projects implemented in Italy, the research proposes a systemic approach for the organization of relevant information content capable of supporting Municipalities in identifying potentially replicable good practices, incentivizing them to initiate new urban development processes in Positive Energy Districts
