Analysis of the use of the right-of-way: a study on state highways in Ceará.
No full textA faixa de domínio como um dos elementos de compõe a seção transversal de uma rodovia, é um segmento de suma importância para contribuir com a engenharia de tráfego. Assim, este trabalho analisou a utilização da faixa de domínio no estado do Ceará, averiguando os valores arrecadados pelos acessos e engenhos publicitários, contanto, foram estudadas três rodovias estaduais do Ceará, a CE-040, CE-060 e CE-085 em perímetro urbano e rural, simulando e fazendo comparativos dos dados coletados das CE’S nas BR-020, BR-116 e BR-222, as quais foram baseadas nas leis e normas de cada tipo de rodovia. A pesquisa buscou promover estudos sobre a faixa de domínio voltados a análise da magnitude dos valores arrecadados, visto que o gerenciamento desde a utilização até a fiscalização é de suma importância para a engenharia de tráfego. Assim, foram estudados trechos de cada rodovia estadual em zonas rurais e urbanas, calculando os valores que são pagos por entidade particulares para o governo por utilizar o espaço da via pública para alocar seu empreendimento, seja um acesso, principalmente apresentado por postos de combustíveis e engenhos publicitários. Dessa forma, ao fazer a análise, por meio das equações que são utilizadas para obter a taxa de licenciamento, foi possível perceber que nos trechos estudados o valor cobrado no estado do Ceará no perímetro urbano é elevado, quando comparado às zonas rurais e às rodovias federais, dessa forma, esse alto valor pode ocasionar a dívida desse pagamento, somando-se com a falta de fiscalização, acarretando assim, a imprudência do uso do uso da faixa de domínio. Ou seja, é possível perceber que o uso da faixa de domínio relaciona-se desde a falta de fiscalização, aos altos valores de arrecadação, até a implantação indevida de empreendimentos, dessa forma, existe a necessidade de mudança nos valores cobrados da faixa de domínio para que exista uma forma de acompanhamento dos órgãos fiscalizadores que seja mais abrangente e eficaz.The right of way as one of the elements that composes the cross section of a road, is an extremely important segment to contribute to traffic engineering. Thus, this work analyzed the use of the right of way in the state of Ceará, investigating the values collected by accesses and advertising devices, therefore, three state road in Ceará were studied, CE-040, CE-060 and CE-085 in urban and rural perimeter, simulating and making comparisons of data collected from CE'S on BR-020, BR-116 and BR-222, which were based on the laws and regulations of each type of road. The research sought to promote studies on the right of way directed at analysis of the magnitude of collected values, since management from use to inspection is of paramount importance for traffic engineering. Thus, parts of each state road in rural and urban zones were studied, calculating the values that are paid by private entities to the government for using public road space to allocate their enterprise, be an access, mainly presented by gas stations and advertising devices. Thus, when doing the analysis, through the equations that are used to obtain the license fee, it was possible to notice that the values charged in the state of Ceará in the urban perimeter is high, when compared to rural areas and federal roads, thus, this high value can lead to debt for this payment, adding to the lack of inspection, thus causing, the imprudence to use the right of way. That is, it is possible to see that the use of the right of way is related from the lack of inspection, to the high collection values, even the improper implementation of enterprises, thus, there is a need to change the fees charged for the right of way so that there is a way of monitoring the inspection bodies that is more comprehensive and effective
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
